Monthly Rentals in Clough Foot

Julian and Sarah Jane’s house was beautiful. It was lovely and warm when we walked in due to the brilliant under floor heating. The house was modern and very bright inside. It was spotlessly clean and smelt amazing as well. The house was well equipped, everything was there. All the appliances worked very well. The bed was super comfy and big. Great views from the house and peace and quiet everywhere. Julian had left lots of little extras which were greatly appreciated. He provided warm throws and binoculars, bird books and more. They had thought of everything one may need on a short trip. We were very lucky with the beautiful spring weather and enjoyed sitting on the deck in the sun. All in all, a really good stay. The best Airbnb we have stayed in so far! We will return for sure.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. Great location for walks in the hills and along the canal right from the door step. Some lovely pubs to eat at within a short drive. The place was spotlessly clean. The home made banana bread was delicious and gratefully received. We were given a warm welcome and made sure we were settled in okay. Thank you very much!!

The house was exactly as described, very clean and well located for our stay. Nice selection of essentials provided (bread, milk, biscuits). We arrived to find the boiler had an error and there was no hot water, we informed Oliver on arrival (at 7.30pm on a Friday evening) and the issue had been fixed by the time we returned from dinner, with some fresh eggs left in order to apologise for the inconvenience - very friendly and quick to respond host!

We had a lovely comfortable stay at The Doghouse. The house is beautifully decorated, quirky in a good interesting way and well located for exploring Todmorden and local area as it is close to the train station. The host provided the essentials such as milk, tea bags and a chilled bottle of wine....very much appreciated after a long drive. We would happily return to the Doghouse again.
