The 15 hand crafted windows allow for great views watching out for Michigan wildlife--White tail deer, turkeys, owls, coyote have all been spotted from the elevated wrap around deck. The biggest regret that guests have noted is “we wish we would have stayed longer”!

Thanks to Nate and Austin for taking on stewardship of this place and letting us all experience it and being excellent hosts. Bigger and more extravagant houses can't match how a thoughtfully designed simple space can make you feel. There's a lot of information about the history of the house to peruse and the artwork from the original owners is a great connection to the past. It was a great stay at an important place in Wright's career.

A bright living area features large windows with natural light streaming in. Comfortable seating is arranged around a coffee table at the center, while an adjacent dining space is visible. A decorative wall clock and indoor plants add to the home's character.

what a beautiful place! The house is nicely done and well equipped. We loved spending a day on the lake with the pontoon. In addition, John and Kevin have two kayaks at the house that we enjoyed using. And we spent our evenings sitting at the fireplace and looking onto the lake. We had the best time here, thanks for this great place!

Melissa was an excellent hostess. Everything was exactly as described and private. She responded quickly to my texts. Melissa even left out a few amenities for us in case we forgot. I found this very thoughtful, exceeding my expectations. We did not use the sauna, but it was nice. We were looking for a quiet place to stay while attending a nearby festival and this was perfect!
