Iveta was a fantastic host and everyone we met at Timbercombe was incredibly friendly. The lodge is super cosy and perfect in every way. All of our expectations were exceeded! Amazing hot tub, squeaky clean accommodation and mega comfy. We walked miles with our dog every day, leaving completely refreshed. Thanks so much!

The Potting Shed - cosy country cottage

JuliaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay. The place is exactly as described, a very cosy little cottage with everything you need. Everywhere was clean and tidy apart from general dust you’d expected, with a lovely little basket of treats left for us on arrival. Check in was self done, flexible, and smooth, same with leaving. Lovely little village, a couple of local pubs within walking distance, lovely cafe just next door along with some very friendly ducks, chickens, lambs, goats and the occasional cat. Would absolutely stay here again and 100% recommend if you’re looking for a cosy and quiet get away. During our stay we explored Cheddar, Glastonbury and Frome, all within an hours drive and lots of lovely cafes and independent shops.

Entire Guest House, Rural Retreat, Stanton Drew

ChristinaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Cute property, clean, no direct access to the hot tub area but it is just across the driveway and is very secluded so wasn't a problem. Downstairs rooms slightly damp feel but then again it is a very old building so didn't bother us much. Very well connected to Bath and Bristol.

The Lodge - Cosy cottage & Hot tub nr Bristol city

ShalayneRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Charming and quaint - a great place for families to stay near the Cotswolds. We had a few hiccups on our trip due to things out of our control but the host was super kind and did what she could to make it a great experience for us. The cottage is well kept and has good spaces (bathroom was nice and updated as well as the kitchen) and the bedrooms worked great to fit our family. All in all, I'd recommend a stay here!

Charming Stone Cottage: Hot Tub, Games Room

MartynRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Very well appointed and great for a family, we had an 18 month old with us. The games room is a little gimmicky but was fun along with all the board games as we had a little one with us so adds a little to the stay along with the hot tub and beautiful garden as couldn’t pop to the pub in the evening. There is also a cache of cars which our daughter loved to play with, it was these nice little touches that made a difference. Some great recommends from the host and the local area is handy and beautiful with a play park just a 10 min walk away. Recommend the Rose and Crown pub on a sunny day, 15-20minute walk, garden is great and little slide for kids. Traffic is the only downside to the area really but the house is nestled away from it all.

Character filled Somerset Cottage in AONB

Rebecca was an excellent host, she gave really clear directions and even helped to get the cottage ready a bit early for because I was only staying 1 night. The cottage itself is beautifully done out and has everything you could possibly think of or need ready for you without being in any way cluttered. I've had a lovely visit doing some beautiful walking and visiting local beaches. I would 100% recommend the cottage to anyone who was thinking of staying.

I had a wonderful two-night stay at Lisa’s Airbnb for a friend’s wedding at Kingscote Barn. The property was beautifully appointed and clean. A bonus was The Royal Oak, Leighterton pub/restaurant just across the road with delicious food and a lovely drinks menu. The EV car charger was super helpful too. Highly recommend!

Beautiful upside down cottage in rural location

HollyRating, 5 stars6 days ago
We had a perfect few days at the Cottage. The location is idyllic and quiet, and everything about it was charming, from the sweet dog who greeted us when we parked to the double-yolk eggs our host left us. We really appreciated the binder with suggestions of where to eat (we recommend Lord Nelson’s and The White Hart!) and where to walk. We felt right at home. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Coach house in the heart of St Catherine valley

JohnRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a great time at this place. It’s a spacious and very clean accommodation. We enjoyed the silence very much. Looking outside the kitchen window is like looking into a 3-D painting. It’s a beautiful place from where you can do many different walks. Magnus and Roz are very friendly and easygoing..The weather was great and they let us use their beautiful garden with swimming pool as well. When we arrived it was nice to find bread, milk, butter, jam etc in the kitchen. It’s been a wonderful fortnight over here!

Sunny 4-bedroom cottage with South facing garden

ArthurRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
the landscape of Somerset and the Mendip Hills is truly beautiful and Sunflower cottage is set in the middle of it. The cottage is very comfortable with everything you need for a stay. The Cider Barn, a local hostelry should not be missed as it is full of atmosphere, friendly locals and great cider. Wells and Glastonbury are close and worth a visit but Cheddar is disappointing. A great area for walkers, around Priddy village, Ebbor gorge and Crook Peak, all challenging but with superb vistas over Somerset. An exceptional holiday in a lovely county in a homely cottage. And the natives are very friendly!

Goose Feather Barn, Wedmore luxury cottage for two

CalhounRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Had a fantastic stay at Goose Feather Barn. The accommodation was really clean and it provided everything you would need in terms of kitchenware, cooking facilities, towels and basic toiletries. The property is in a fantastic central location to explore the local area, just 20 minutes from places like Cheddar, Wells and Glastonbury. Wedmore itself is also beautiful, with some lovely options for food and drinks. The host was very proactive in providing us with all the information we needed long before our stay. There was a very helpful welcome pack at the property upon our arrival and the host was quick to respond to any communication we had. Would highly recommend this property and this host to anyone looking to explore Somerset. And yes, the bed is as big as it looks in the pictures.

Our host was very amenable and friendly providing good local advice on walks and places to eat. Beautiful picturesque garden to enjoy a drink or two in. A very high quality, comfortable holiday home which we highly recommend. Quiet but easy to access Bath and nearby towns. If I’m in the area I’d very much like to stay again.
