River Views, Private Fishing & 9 min Train to York

JonathanRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We loved staying at Steph's place. It was in a beautiful location and very peaceful. We loved the decor and style of the house. The house was really well equipped, particularly the kitchen and there was plenty of space for four adults and three children to both enjoy time to ourselves and together. We were in the area for a family wedding so didn't get a huge amount of time to explore but are already planning a return visit. Thank you Steph 😊

Cosy, quiet flat, balcony countryside, wood view

ErinRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Such a beautiful little place. Me and my partner stayed for two nights and couldn’t believe this spot was still available. The garden really was my favourite and we spent most of our time either on the balcony or below with the comfy garden furniture amongst the wild flowers. Fresh flowers, little kitchen treats and local walks provided by the host were very much enjoyed. The walks are beautiful. The place is a flat but privacy and quietness is very easy to come by and we felt like the only people there. Wi-Fi is good and there is a full sky package, with access to Netflix, YouTube, prime and more when the sun goes down and you have some time to kill.
A metal milk can holds a bouquet of vibrant yellow daffodils, adding a splash of color to the wooden dining table. The soft lighting highlights the petals and creates a warm atmosphere. In the background, a glimpse of the kitchen is visible, featuring glass doors.

Family Getaway at Working Farm

StevenRating, 5 stars13 months ago
Excellent place to stay, clean and tidy with a nice touch of bread, butter, milk. tea, coffee and biscuits left out for us on arrival. We had a trip to York races planed so was ideal with a cab ride into York. (Equally we could have taken the train into York from the local station). Great little pub just 10/15 minute walk into Church Fenton - good beer and food. Thanks for a great stay Charlie.

Historic Tudor Gatehouse Retreat

MarkRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We stayed at the Gatehouse with our little dog and everything was great. The 15th century property was unique, very well equipped and spotlessly clean. The owners were charming and very helpful.
An outdoor dining area is set with a wooden picnic table surrounded by trimmed hedges. Bright green bowls and plates are arranged on the table, accompanied by glasses. The space offers a pleasant spot for al fresco dining.
