Mark has thought of everything that the guest might need and supplied it---from kitchen cookware to brochures.

I could very happily live here, the home and the surroundings are beautiful! Randy and Catrina have done an outstanding job with amenities and decor, and have included so many little things to add comfort and convenience. The kitchen is equipped with every possible appliance and utensil that one could ever need. The overall condition of their home and furnishings, is excellent. Many of the places you will find in this area are labeled as “rustic” to excuse deferred maintainence and cleaning, because it’s a real challenge to keep up a property this far out. But this is far from rustic, with no excuses needed! It’s very apparent that Randy and Catrina have thoughtfully invested a lot of time and resources into their home, and the whole place shows it. I traveled with my brother-in-law and my father. We could not have had a better experience at Randy and Catrina’s home, and the experience will be fondly remembered by all of us. We will absolutely return for future stays.

Troy’s cabin is very clean and very well maintained. It is charming and extremely comfortable. The home lives larger than its fairly modest square footage. Every need for a relaxing getaway has been met. The property is home to some of the many fascinating desert creatures. I had a wonderful stay at the cabin and would highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates the beauty of the desert.

We had an incredible Thanksgiving stay at this beautiful home. It had many amenities and very comfortable. The yard was so nice to have and the surrounding atmosphere is absolutely stunning. The host was so kind and accommodating in every way. We will absolutely be coming back for a quiet and peaceful stay. We saw deer daily and the neighbors were very friendly. Someone always waved when we went on our walks. The accommodations for our dogs were so thoughtful. Beautiful scenery and just a very nice and clean home. It feels like home away from home.

What a beautiful home and location! The view is incomparable, and we saw lots of wildlife...trumpeter swans, a herd of pronghorn, mule deer, a coyote, eagles, and lots of waterfowl. The home was lovely and spacious and exactly as described with a very well-stocked kitchen. The wood-burning oven kept us so cozy! Highly recommend this place.

The home and amenities were exactly as described. The house is well-appointed and well-stocked. Suzy is a great communicator. This is the nicest short term rental you'll find in Silver Lake, Fort Rock, or Christmas Valley.

Mark was a great host! He communicated very well. The place was what was advertised and everything went well from reserving, check in and check out.

My family came down for the weekend to stay. The house is gorgeously decorated. We found it cozy, and stocked with all the amenities we needed. We enjoyed the open windows, which let you see the lake and local birdlife. Seeing the full moon was beautiful especially from the hot tub!
