Custom Craftsman With Hot Tub Close to Ocean

Pass through the electronic gate and private entrance and indulge in the complimentary snacks on the fold-out leaf table. Fine interior touches include antique heirloom artwork and a serving tray, while outside 2-level seating and a fire pit await. We follow rigorous cleaning and sanitizing protocols from the CDC during COVID-19. We ventilate rooms, wash hands frequently, wear gloves, clean, then disinfect with bleach or 70% alcohol. Our cleaning crew focuses on frequently touches surfaces, incl light switches, doorknobs, remote controls, and faucets, and wash all linens at highest heat. Attention to detail prevails throughout the apartment. The craftsman style space includes custom cabinets, high/vaulted ceilings, granite counter tops and walk-in closet. Established trees can be viewed from the master bedroom picture window and private deck which gives the space a tree house effect. The space can comfortably fit up to 4 guests. We will provide a variety of organic breakfast items including coffee, orange juice, milk, cream, half & half, cereal, fruit, yogurt and breads/pastries. Wine will be available upon request. Guests have an electronic gate and their own private entrance.Guests have access to their own deck, complete kitchen and laundry facilities. Interaction with guests will be kept to a minimum in order to respect their privacy, however, we will be happy to assist any way possible to provide a great experience. We live in a separate location on site so we will be present during the guests stay. We love our neighborhood! If you love craftsman, California bungalow, custom and historical homes this is the place. There are parks, the Colorado Lagoon, Marine Stadium, 2nd Street with shops and great restaurants, and of course the beach all within walking distance. There are a variety of farmer's markets and in the summer local concerts in the park. There is public transportation (buses) nearby. There is plenty of street parking. We are conveniently located between LAX (25 minutes), Orange County (SNA) Airport (20 minutes) and Long Beach Airport (10 minutes). PLEASE BE AWARE OF STREET SWEEPING DAYS!! SIGNS ARE POSTED FOR THURSDAY AND FRIDAY AM STREET SWEEPING. Shayne was an amazing host. He was always responsive and helpful. Sook’s Perch was like a home away from home. You know you love a vacation when you can see yourself moving there, and it all begins with the home you stay in . The home was updated while still keeping a very “Lake Arrowhead” cabin feeling. Lots of space for a fun family or friend’s getaway. The home is situated perfectly as it’s close to The Village and not far from walkable lakes. I personally loved the vinyl records, as Shayne had all the great classics and a few from the 90’s and 2000’s. Would I recommend Sook’s Perch? 100%, wonderful service, great location, and beautiful home. I hope to stay there again. 🌲🫶🏼

Stunning home up in the mountains. The only hiccup we had was finding the driveway, which our host gave us instructions and pictures ahead of time to help us find it. The cabin is spacious and despite having 7 adults in the home, we all felt we had room to move. Kitchen was big, and enough seating in the living room and dining room that everybody was able to stay together in the same room. The TV is a bit small, but we spent more time chatting on the deck and in the hot tub than watching TV, so it wasn't an issue. Upstairs has a cute nook with a couch and bed, as well as laundry and a bathroom! There is a fan attached to the slanted ceiling and fairy lights to light up a small step that leads to the bed. Nobody tripped, and despite heat rising, the fan made it a very comfortable night. My group already misses this cabin and out of the three we've stayed in Crestline, this is by far the fan favorite. Thank you!

Lake Arrowhead is beautiful and the location of the cabin and its lake view is amazing. You wake up every morning with a beautiful view. All the balconies have a view of the lake. The location is near the Village. The cabin had everything we needed to enjoy our weekend. We would definitely return.

Great place! Had everything we needed in the kitchen to cook a full Thanksgiving dinner. Quiet spot in the mountains. If I had to come up with something constructive- it was a bit dry inside in Nov and the heating vents were a little intense in the bedrooms, but nitpicky stuff and other than that quite amazing. Tyler was also extremely helpful and responsive. Will definitely be back!

This Airbnb was really beautiful and it fit our entire party of 12 very comfortably. When we got to the house, it was very clean. The heaters were a little hard to figure out at first, but we got them to work and made the place very warm and cozy (every room has its own heater which is definitely a plus). Only thing I would point out is that there is a neighbor that has a lot of caution tape and “no airbnb” signs that were a bit of an eyesore. On one of the nights she was playing really loud music and yelling at our guests. We communicated this with Casey and he was apologetic and let us know that if we felt uncomfortable we could contact authorities. Apart from that incident, we had a great stay! Casey was even able to accommodate a later check out time which was greatly appreciated.

Beautiful stay in Twin Peaks. Host was so kind, helpful, and responsive—the best experience we’ve had with Airbnb. The home is clean, big, and comfortable- exactly what I look for in a rental. The layout of the home/rooms/common areas is perfect to relax and enjoy a cabin in the woods. The living room has a sprawling area to relax on a huge & comfortable recliner couch and fireplace and a cabinet full of games and puzzles, the kitchen is stocked with every cooking tool you need and a big family table. All the appliances are upgraded, and the rooms are all immaculate with spotless bathrooms. The yard had beautiful views and there was enough privacy and plenty of room to play and sled in the back. The neighborhood is also very quiet and calm and we enjoyed walking. This it the perfect spot for a relaxing family cabin trip.

I came back for my 4th visit, just me and my dog, because it’s such a great relaxation spot, inside and out. I love the deck, kitchen, hot tub and walking the neighborhood. Sandra is very responsive and friendly, so I always know I can reach out if I have a question or want a recommendation. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend her cabin! It’s adorable!

The home was absolutely beautiful and in a prime location close to the center of town. Driveway is steep as said in the description but there also is parking directly across the street from the house which is nice if you have someone who’s car won’t make it up the incline. Plenty of towels and blankets and kitchen amenities to make you feel right at home. Hot tub is a bit outdated and was kind of dirty might be because it’s right under the trees outside but we still used it ! We enjoyed our stay and would absolutely book with Lisa again. The town is very beautiful and everyone is so friendly and welcoming. Thank you again and we will be back !
