This unique place has a style all its own designed to emulate a ranger retreat /fire tower. The cabin has a commanding view of Chimney Rock and Hickory Nut Falls/Gorge. The cabin was built out of 100+ year old reclaimed materials with 15 foot vaulted ceilings on the main floor. With poplar bark walls, incredible lighting hand cut slate floors your stay is guaranteed to be enchanting. Sit in the hot tub and look at a waterfall while listening to another waterfall behind you and river below you.

Watch the sun go down while sitting in the hot tub or while grilling on the upper deck. Then retreat down to the fenced in yard and make smores while sitting around the fire pit. While Hurricane Helene shifted the landscape of our sweet village, we are seeing significant progress each day in the town's rebuild. The cabin has no damage. 5 minutes from Lake Lure restaurants

Plus you are less than 30 minutes away from Asheville and The Biltmore House. Come relax! NO PETS NO SMOKING The tiny cabin is 228 sq ft. Wifi and cell service can be spotty at times.

Sophie's cabin is tucked away in the forest of the gated Riverbend Community. It is a quiet retreat ideally suited for a couple looking to unplug and be in nature. It's both spacious and cozy with a private bedroom, full bathroom, full kitchen, and a comfortable living room. There is a large private deck behind the cabin with a dining set, gas grill, and 2 lounge chairs. A large Ingles grocery store and several restaurants are open nearby. Our private lake is open and as pretty as ever.
