Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Chico

My family and I recently stayed a Laurie's place in Chico for a week. We loved the pool! We walked daily in Lower Bidwell Park which is located just 3 blocks from the house. The house was spacious for our group of 8. We did have an issue with the washing machine, but Laurie was very responsive and worked hard to rectify the situation. The house could use a few cosmetic updates, such as plumbing fixtures, but compared to other similar size houses in the area, this house was in better shape than most and the price was reasonable.

I was lucky to find this particular bear Airbnb empty late in the day when I needed a place to stay. It was in a quiet neighborhood with a parking space special for my vehicle. My dog was able to stay there so that made it all the more convenient. It had a fenced in yard for him. It had a well stocked kitchenette, a nice living room area and an extremely comfortable bed. There were extra blankets when I got a little cold outside, so that was nice too. It had a beautifully tiled shower that was squeaky clean. I loved the place and I will be back!

Carolyn and Julio were great! When I arrived, Julio greeted me and showed me the tiny house. It was quaint, adorable, and welcoming. The surrounding area was more beautiful than I thought it would be. I walked the grounds and met the animals. I wanted a quiet, peaceful trip, and that is precisely what I got. Thank you!

Loved this spot for an entire month! I was able to have access to the freeway in seconds, right near downtown, my dogs were comfy. I am always afraid they will get out of the backyard… this home was safe and secure for all of us and I’m so thankful I found it. Thank you Sam, for being a great host and helping out so much when I needed it most.

What a cute little place in a great location around lots of local stores and quick food choices. Was visiting Chico for a wedding and me and my extended family all stayed together. The house had plenty of space and had everything we needed to enjoy ourselves. Doggies loved it too!

This Airbnb was absolutely perfect! The place was pristine-spotlessly clean, and so beautifully maintained, it felt just like home(maybe even better!). Every detail was thoughtfully considered, and it had every amenity you could possibly need. You can really tell the host takes pride in offering a top-tier experience. Honestly, I couldn't have asked for a cleaner or more comfortable place to stay. Highly recommend.

We stay with my daughter’s family. Bedrooms arrangement were perfect. Kids loved game table and pool. Perfect for a family. We absolutely loved our stay.

The stay was awesome. The property the studio flat was attached to and the studio itself was beautiful. We love that it was pet friendly, even though our dog was not allowed in the pool area. BTW that backyard is huge and gorgeous. There was a beautiful outdoor cat 🐈 that greeted us. I would have pet it all day if I wasn't allergic. :-(.. I loved the projector set up. The shower was amazing. Temp inside (Hot April) a little hot, but perfect when we opened the small window. Also turned on the fan. A minor issue was that I had to attempt at double clicking the fan light several times before it would turn off. All the other times it would blink off and back on really quick. It was probably user error. 😅 I also recommend opening and closing the sliding door really quick during bug season to avoid mosquitos from getting in. All in all, I am jealous of that property. It is so nice, the family you can tell are very good people, and it was very peaceful and quiet. Well worth it.

Chris was very responsive with easy instructions and helpful tips for the house. It is located very close to Chico State across from the high school and an easy walk to downtown (maybe ~20 minutes). As others noted, the floor plan is a little funky but suited the four of us perfectly with good size rooms and 2 full bathrooms. We hope to return!
