We equipped the unit with a 50" flat screen TV, full cable package, bose sound bar/Bluetooth speaker, high speed internet, walk in shower with dual shower heads and a bench seat, full kitchen with gas stove, bedroom with a queen size bed, living room with a pull out sofa, fenced private patio area with fire pit, off street parking 30 ft from the door, and everything you need for a nice quiet night and or weekend getaway. This cottage was completely remodeled in 2020. It sits on the back of our property and backs up to an orchard. The property is over an acre. It is quiet and peaceful. You will find fruit trees, grapes, a garden and chickens. The chickens roam the property during the day. You may hear a rooster in the AM. There is a covered patio and fire pit to enjoy the evenings in Chico. If you like to cook outdoors there is a gas BBQ & pellet grill/smoker. It is 1.8 miles from Chico State and Downtown.

You will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located home in Chico. It is located just three blocks from the entrance to Bidwell Park for morning walks, or about 1/2 mile to the quaint downtown Chico area! We were very pleased with this Home. We came down for a high school graduation of our granddaughter with a lot of family. The house suited us very well. Everyone had their privacy, but we had great entertainment area as well. We were very pleased if the occasion arises again where we need such a large place we will visit right here

Joshua's Bungalo was perfect for my family of four and dog. The backyard was our favorite part. Our kids loved the swing and playing soccer in the yard and swimming in the pool. The plants and decor were beautiful, felt like we were in a very special garden. The kids loved checking on the chickens. The house was central to everything in town, it was the perfect location. The house had everything we needed and more. The kids bunk beds and playroom were so fun for the kids. We all had plenty of space and then some! Would love to stay here again someday! I'm a Chico native and wanted to show my kids Chico and see friends and family and this was the perfect house for that!

If you're looking for a delightful little home with a cottage, farm house feel, and a place your youngsters will enjoy, this is your place! With a well stocked kitchen, lots of ammenities for children and that "home away from home" feel, you will not be dissapointed. The neighborhood is adorable, walkable, quiet and safe! Kelli was a wonderful host, leaving us with a nice basket of goodies, as well as helpful and thoughtful notes placed throughout the house. If this sounds like your jam, I highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at Laura’s place. Our entire group really enjoyed both the house and Bidwell Park nearby. The rooms and beds are super comfy. There was plenty of space for everyone, and the outdoor area was really fun! Our kids are already asking to see when we can return! Laura was super responsive and communication was extremely easy. Thank you for a great stay!

We had a great time in Chico celebrating a graduation. The backyard was nice and my kids loved the play’s fixtures and open grass area to run around. Close to stores and restaurants. The home was clean and had everything we needed.
