A beautiful location, so peaceful with spectacular views. We were so lucky to have sunshine and warm weather that week which made our stay all the more enjoyable. We were able to sit outside and have a BBQ and soak up the sun, the hot tub and sauna were just what we needed to relax in too. The bedroom was most welcoming with some lovely touches to the bed, thank you. We did miss not having a TV in the bedroom however, as we do like to unwind, stretch out and relax at night, so this is why I couldn't give it a 5. I loved the bathroom and everywhere was clean on arrival. Waking up here with breathaking views really made it for me and Blandford town was just a short car journey away. Good communication from the hosts too. Many thanks.

Spent the weekend here with my fiancé for her 30th and a friend's wedding, simply amazing. Very peaceful and beautiful place to stay in the country. Also very private, didn't see a soul other than deer, pheasants and rabbits the whole time at the place. Tom was also very responsive and helpful. Instructions very clear and in depth. Would recommend and we'll hopefully be back.

We had a wonderful weekend, so quiet and peaceful. The cover on the hot tub was an added bonus as even though there was a storm, we managed to still sit and relax in the hot tub. Joy was the best host, very detailed instructions on how to get there and check in with an abundance of local information prior to arrival so we were able to plan activities ahead. Greeted us upon arrival and was so friendly and helpful explaining where everything was and how to use it. We had breakfast at the Railway Kitchen in Axminster which was delicious and very cute place, we would strongly recommend if you are visiting. The accommodation was beautiful and spotless on arrival, Joy really thought of everything! We would definitely return and recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing break to escape from busy life.

This little hut definitely exceeded my expectations- a cute cosey hot tub with pretty fairy lights in the evening, a nice sized outdoor area with a bbq, and such a nice compact interior. Staying here for 3 nights felt just right, giving me and my partner enough time to enjoy the hut whilest also exploring bournemouth. We came here for my 20th birthday, and visited the oceanarium- would definitely recommend doing! If you would like to visit Bournmouth, the location of this hut is perfect. Right near the train station, a co-op, and a walk away from the beach. This leads me to my host. Tara, made our experience that much more worth it. She greeted us with the kindest approach and made us feel extremely welcome, she was also extremely responsive and helpful, giving clear instructions before arrival and providing help where needed. Credit to David too, who helped us with temperature altercations with our hot-tub. Such lovely people! :)

Private pool great, Games Room great, Hot Tub was spot on and actually hot (unlike so many that aren't)! Sauna probably needs some renovation love. Bedrooms great, enough space. Devonshire Arms nice food, Halfway House nice beer and vibes. All the ingredients for a place to kick back and have some much needed family time. Highly recommend!

Just come back from Mistletoe Farm after celebrating a Hen weekend there. We all could not fault the hosts, they were incredible & always checking if we needed anything, so helpful throughout the whole stay. Mistletoe Farm is beautiful & so peaceful. Plenty to do within the property. We all especially loved the pool/hot tub & also the karaoke machine was a big hit. It really is the perfect place either for celebrating a special occasion or a family weekend. We all enjoyed our stay & said it is a place we would love to go back to. We had such an amazing stay at this place! Came with a group of friends and all our kids, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The house was super clean, spacious, and had everything we needed—from a fully stocked kitchen to comfy beds and even toys and games to keep the little ones happy. The outdoor area was a total bonus—great space for the kids to run around while the adults relaxed. The location was ideal too—peaceful but still close enough to park, caffe and pub. We stayed a few days for our honeymoon. Our arrival was a bit chaotic as the host was there trying to fit a bbq but they left swiftly enough and we were free to enjoy our stay. The location was perfect, so great to be fully immersed in nature especially with a hot tub too. We really enjoyed being woken by the sunrise each day. The hosts were incredibly helpful and responsive to our questions and requests. I would say that the cabin could do with a few personal touches like blankets, washing powder, basic supplies in the fridge upon arrival considering the price range I thought it was unusual for these not to be included. Overall we had such an incredibly special stay and will be back soon. Thanks to the hosts ☺️

The Chicken House was the perfect couples getaway, private and peaceful but within an hours drive of a ton of activities. The wood fired hot tub was a great touch, would definitely recommend trying it! Will definitely look to go back if I'm in need of a holiday!
