Beach house vacation rentals in Chesapeake

Our family had a wonderful time and couldn’t have asked for a nicer property. NorthStar was beautifully furnished, clean as a whistle, very well-stocked and is run by a top-notch management company. Grace was proactive and extremely responsive. We will return next summer when the water is warmer. Thanks Grace and all at Oak Realty for a wonderful weekend of memories and allowing us such a nice home to call ours for Memorial Day Weekend 2025!

Mark is a great host. The house is immaculate. Every little detail is perfect. By far the nicest AirBNB I have ever rented. Mark made sure everything was perfect for our visit with our son in the Navy.

What a great place to stay. Splash of lime worked great for our group. The house is set up nicely and has lots of storage available. We were lucky enough to get daily visits from the wild horses throughout the day. Martin is an excellent host and responded very quickly to answer any questions we had.

The Pool House was exactly as described — clean, comfortable, and welcoming! Denise had thoughtful touches like snacks, water, and coffee ready for us when we arrived. Both she and her sweet dog Murphy made us feel right at home. We were also able to check in when we arrived in Sandbridge a little early. The Pool House was ready and waiting. We were in town for a wedding, and when a last-minute issue came up with the newlyweds’ accommodations, Denise was incredibly gracious and allowed us to turn the Pool House over to them. It ended up being the perfect space for the couple to relax for a couple of days before leaving on their honeymoon. The couple and their parents were very grateful for Denise’s kindness and willingness to help. The stress of not having a place to stay on their wedding night melted away. I would absolutely recommend staying here — Denise is a wonderful host, and Murphy is a joy! God bless you, Denise.

The “treehouse” was homey and well stocked with anything that you need for an easy beach vacation! Plenty of bikes, beach chairs, coolers, towels, etc. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to make family meals. The Hosts were super responsive and flexible. We had a big storm and they had people coming to fix things as soon as we woke up. Didn’t even need to tell them we lost WiFi - the guy was just there to repair it. Can’t say enough how great it was to be able to workout in the gym when it was so hot outside running would have been impossible.

This rental property was the ideal spot for our family reunion of 16, ages 8 to 78. This was one of the most well-equipped properties we have stayed at. We have stayed at several rental properties in Sandbridge Beach, VA in previous years, and this is our favorite. The kitchen was well equipped and stocked with essentials (coffee, sugar, creamers, paper towels, toilet paper, regular and beach towels, etc.) The kids loved the game room and outdoor pool. The adults enjoyed the hot tub and ping pong room. Two big dining tables easily accommodated our group size (8 adults at one and 8 kids at the other). The beds and pillows were all comfortable. Amy, the Operations Manager, was most helpful and very responsive to any of our questions. We plan to return to this property sometime in the future. Definitely a 5-star experience for everyone in our family.

Nathanael was an excellent host. The house was exactly what I expected. It was perfect for my family and if we ever visit Corolla Beach again, it is definitely a place I would bring them. The bikes, the pool, the beach accessories, the layout and the pool and hot tub were all exactly what we needed for our week off from New England. Amazing experience. This was the very best Airbnb I have ever stayed. Felt at home. Absolutely above and beyond my dreams Anything and everything you would need from your home, they have. I didn't need to go out and purchase 1 item. The kitchen was completely stocked with all pots, pans, and more. The kindest host. Thank you for the most amazing and 1st Grandkids vacation. second time staying here and it was better than i remembered. the house itself is incredible.. huge kitchen island for entertaining, immaculate bedrooms, and that back window wall is just spectacular. 10/10 vibes, love this place!

We had a wonderful time and the accommodations were superb! Our hosts were very responsive and willing to assist at a moments notice. The refrigerator stopped working (not very old) and they sent someone within hours and made sure there was refrigeration until the refrigerator could be replaced! I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here in the future. It was a wonderful experience!

Great neighborhood with lots of options within walking distance. Support local businesses for breakfast and dinner…Convenient to the beach and boardwalk. Great hospitality!

We had a wonderful stay this past weekend at Brian’s place. We were in town for a wedding and enjoyed some down time at the house playing air hockey, having a meal together at the large dining table and walking our dogs on the beach (a very short walk away). The dogs each had their own dog bed and the fenced in yard was a plus! Check in/out was seamless and Brian was very responsive with recommendations and answering any questions that we had. The house was very clean and comfortable and provided the perfect space for our family to make new memories.

Clean, Cozy and Chic! The place had everything you can think of… tons of beach chairs, beach toys/boards, beach umbrella and wagon. Very spacious indoor and outdoors. Up to date kitchen and bathrooms. Tons of towels (bath and beach). Highly recommend!!

Our stay was fantastic! The location couldn't be better, just a stone's throw from the beach. The property itself was clean and well-stocked with everything we needed. Mary was prompt and helpful in addressing the one minor issue that came up. We highly recommend this spot for a worry-free beach getaway!

The house was clean and felt like home. The hostess was great to deal with and very responsive. We had an excellent experience staying hear.

House is just what we wanted and our group of 3 adults had a great time. The kitchen appears to be recently updated and is in very nice shape. We were out all day, but when we returned at night, the TVs were well setup for easy use, the beds were comfortable and we slept well. There’s a nice backyard area where I had coffee in the morning since the weather was nice. As we drove in, I realized the house backs up closer to a highway than I expected, which concerned me. But there is a tall sound barrier and I didn’t hear the traffic at all. It was quiet and pleasant. If I am ever in Norfolk again, I will be happy stay here again.

This place was perfect and became available at the right time. I had been looking for weeks for a beach location and just when I lost hope, this place showed up. We were beyond pleased to stay at Thomas Tree House. I would certainly return and share with others. Definitely would return!

This home stands out among the many air B&B’s I have stayed it. Emily and Abel provided many extras such as cold water and snacks when we arrived, beach towels for our use, dog food bowls for our dog, soft beds with plush throws to use at our leisure. The neighborhood is walkable filled with southern charm. Our family used this home as a gathering place for my son’s wedding. It exceeded my expectations.

In town to coach a softball tournament, walked to a great local restaurant (Hot Tuna) on the first night and heard a great band. Drove about 10 minutes to Chick’s Beach on night 2 to another great restaurant

This was a very spacious home very close to the beach. Our schedule changed and we arrived a day early and Tyler was gracious by letting us check in much earlier than expected. We will definitely book here again!

Sarah’s Portsmouth home exceeded our expectations. Coming from Phoenix, we were looking for a peaceful, welcoming place to unwind with family and this home delivered. It was clean, cozy, and full of charm. Mornings were especially memorable with coffee on the deck while birdwatching and enjoying the quiet surroundings.
