Vacation rentals in Chenay

This is a little bit of heaven. If you're looking for somewhere to get away from everything (but still have enough to do), somewhere quiet (but still with lots going on) and somewhere that feels like a world away from stress and fuss (but still with Angoulême 30 minutes' drive away), you've found it. The house is spacious, warm and welcoming. There's everything you need (including a bottle of red when we arrived!) and restaurants and bars are less than 5 minutes' walk away. The dock at the back of the house on the river may be the best place ever to enjoy a coffee and watch the ducks or open a bottle in the evening. The best place we've found to de-stress. Love it.

charming stay at Ingegerd's, very well appointed typical house, two large gardens, charm of the property, very quiet, we loved it.

Small friendly accommodation with all amenities in a small medieval city where it is nice to walk around. Impeccable cleanliness including in the common areas. The only downside is street parking, if only to unload luggage and groceries. Apartment directly on a busy street but still well insulated from noise with windows closed. Thanks to Elodie for hosting us and for the ease of the transaction.

Accommodation as described, the accommodation is well located and clean. Accommodation close to the futuroscope on foot which is very nice. Alexandra is very responsive to messages and she is available for any questions. If we have to come back to the area we will gladly come back to this accommodation

Excellent smiling welcome, friendly and attentive from Anne Sophie. Our accommodation, a charming market garden house tastefully restored, offered us calm and comfort. Saint Sigismond is an extremely peaceful little village. Nothing but moments of sweet tranquility to contemplate the dance of the swallows above the large garden, to capture in the evening the hooting of an owl, to nibble a few grains of the vine that runs along the facade... Anyone looking for proximity to nature will find something to satisfy them here. The Autize pier, a three-minute walk from the house, allows you to take beautiful exotic and informative walks amidst very rich fauna and flora. It is also a restaurant offering simple meals to enjoy in a relaxing and friendly setting.

A charming little apartment, with a freedom of autonomy offered by Laurent and Maud quite pleasant that makes you feel like in your own holiday home. Thank you very much!

The instructions left were clear and simple, the cleanliness as a whole was perfect, the shower and toilet were clean, the kitchen and its utensils made available were all clean, the accessibility close to the train station is really a plus, small surprise there is a small private courtyard outside I highly recommend it.
