Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Chemung County

very nice house. was much larger than it seemed in pictures. excellent example of turn of the century architecture. I will always try to book this property the few times a year I am in Elmira .

My first experience with AirBnB couldn't have gone much better, thanks to Mary (the host). The home was immaculate, well-appointed, and in an extremely convenient location. I'd certainly try to stay there again if the opportunity arose.

This place is exactly as described. Beautiful, clean and updated. Had every amenity you could need. Rooms were perfect size, comfy beds. We had 3 families staying here together (6 adults and 4 kids) and we could’ve fit at least 2-4 more ppl. Plenty of space and the 2 bathrooms was essential. There’s not much to do in this town specifically, however, you’re only 25mins from Watkins glen and other attractions.

Andy was very responsive from booking to checkout! The home was very clean and had everything we needed. The backyard pool looked very well maintained too-we were disappointed we didn’t get a chance to use it. Would recommend Andy’s place.

We had a wonderful stay, the place is clean and the beds are comfortable including the 3 couches that turned into beds. Ismael was friendly and responded well when we reached out for questions. I would definitely recommend this place if you need a country feel and a peaceful one.

If you are a nature-lover and like privacy, this is the place for you. We saw deer everyday and walked on trails with beautiful views. Bobbi was always available and kept us informed. We were so close to the state parks and finger lakes, as well as, places to eat. The home had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I would definitely stay again. Thanks Bobbi!

Pam's place was a welcome respite for us. Her home was beautiful and spacious. Kitchen and bathroom had everything one would need, lots of thoughtful amenities. Great location to travel to Watkins Glen and Corning museum.

My family and I stayed at Jodi’s place for my little sister’s graduation. It was clean and just as described. About 30 minutes down the road is buttermilk falls which we stopped by on our last day. There is a wegmans and a Walmart nearby for your needs as well.

The apartment was very clean, cozy, and relaxing to stay in. Perfect size for 2 people. We received clear instructions on checking in/out and they were flexible about us arriving later than our original ETA. Very kind and communicative hosts. Would love to stay here again!

We stayed here ahead of the Corning Wine Glass Marathon and it was the perfect location! There was plenty of parking, it was close to where we needed to go, and it conveniently fit everyone in the family. Would definitely stay here again next time we visit beautiful upstate New York!

Our immediate family (from Ithaca, Indiana, and Illinois) stayed in the 3 apartment suites and we were so happy to have homes away from home! The apartments were beautifully appointed, in a great location (close to everything) and having the restaurants-Rye and the Garage-right downstairs was amazing, delicious, and convenient! Thank you for a wonderful stay during a solemn but important occasion-you helped us put the fun in funeral!

Rachel’s place was phenomenal! It was clean and cozy, and perfect for a quick escape from NYC. It was also close enough to be right in downtown Ithaca within minutes. I will definitely be back again!

This Airbnb was everything I needed and more! It was so much bigger in person than it looked in the photos—beautiful, super clean, and really cozy. It made the perfect peaceful getaway. The location was ideal too—close to amazing wineries, just about 30 minutes from Watkins Glen State Park, and not far from a cute Main Street with great food and shops. Whether you’re looking to relax, explore, or do a little of both, this spot is a gem. Highly recommend!
