House vacation rentals in Chemung County

Gratitude and Grace is an escape from the ordinary. Its a beautiful unique property in the country that was just about perfect for me and 7 bridesmaids for my low key Bachelorette. The grounds are lovely and well maintained, as it is normally a wedding venue. The inside of the mansion is eclectic and vintage. Ron is very nice and accommodating as well. Some things i may improve: Soap was watered down in all bathrooms Beds werent exactly comfortable, they seemed very old. Hot tub was just nice, It didnt get very hot though and the water was a bit cloudy The most comfortable bed is in the tiny rennovated garden shed. Although peaceful, we did have to request it be opened so we had the 8th bed as advertised. 2 girls had to bunk up together the 1st night, no big deal but would have been nice to know the 8th bed wasnt automatically available. The 7th bed is a fun loft with a ladder above a king sized bed. It was cute, but the bed was very uncomfortable so no one wanted it.

This place was the perfect getaway. If you are looking for a place to stay and enjoy the wineries this is the place. Highly recommended. Would definitely come back if we come down this way again!

We were greeted with a welcome card and a bottle of Finger Lakes riesling. The cottage is in a great location for exploring the area. We stayed for Cornell's graduation weekend and going to and from Ithaca took about 25 minutes. The kitchen and bathroom were well-stocked, and the bedrooms were spacious. The guys using the sofa bed said it was not the most comfortable but OK overall. The decor was really charming, and I wish we'd had some down time to read the books John and his co-hosts picked out. I highly recommend this property for a family or small group trip because of the convenient and beautiful location and homey amenities.

Excellent home. It’s a very private location at the end of a quiet 4 home street. Won’t see or hear the neighbors at all. Easy drive to Ithaca, great hiking, local farms, and Watkins Glen. The pool is great, secluded and in all afternoon sun. Great for relaxing. Fire pit has all you need - dry firewood, Fire starters, s’mores kit, and sticks. Corn hole too. The house is very comfortable, clean, and well designed. If you are taller than 6’5, the master bathroom ceiling might be slightly low for you but the bathroom in the main level would be fine. Definitely recommend this gem

This was our first AirBNB experience, and JoAnn explained everything, answered all our questions, and was quick to stay in touch and help with whatever was needed. The house and property are gorgeous! It was perfect for our family vacation. The house is well-equipped and spacious, with a huge, lovely porch. If you're visiting the Sayre/Elmira area, we can highly recommend this beautiful home.

Julie is an extremely responsive and accommodating host. The property is absolutely stunning. The sunrise over Keuka Lake is pure beauty. The home has every amenity one could possibly need/ask for. Great experience.

Nathan’s cabin in the woods was the perfect location for me to come back to after a day of work. Everything was clean, well put together and comfortable! I enjoyed a fire out back and explored the woods for a couple hours after work. I’d highly recommend this spot to anyone staying in the area. Thanks Nathan!

Kitty's place was exactly what I wanted for a birthday getaway. The location was peaceful and private, but within a short drive from everything I needed/wanted to do. The house was clean, kitchen was more than well stocked, and my best friend and I had a good time participating in the little treasure hunt. I would recommend for anyone looking to just get away from it all.

My first experience with AirBnB couldn't have gone much better, thanks to Mary (the host). The home was immaculate, well-appointed, and in an extremely convenient location. I'd certainly try to stay there again if the opportunity arose.

Andy was very responsive from booking to checkout! The home was very clean and had everything we needed. The backyard pool looked very well maintained too-we were disappointed we didn’t get a chance to use it. Would recommend Andy’s place.

The farmhouse is beautiful, my family and I loved our stay. Very close to restaurants and things to do within 15 minutes of the house. My family loved getting to pet their goats!

Pam's place was a welcome respite for us. Her home was beautiful and spacious. Kitchen and bathroom had everything one would need, lots of thoughtful amenities. Great location to travel to Watkins Glen and Corning museum.

My family and I stayed at Jodi’s place for my little sister’s graduation. It was clean and just as described. About 30 minutes down the road is buttermilk falls which we stopped by on our last day. There is a wegmans and a Walmart nearby for your needs as well.

Beautiful house, quiet neighborhood, and easy to get inside. Darlene was easy to contact and responded quickly. I would stay here again.
