Lovely setting and great garden - hot tub perfect for a nightlit dip!

Absolutely lovely stay in this cottage. Our whole family enjoyed the stay and felt at home from the minute we walked in the door. Christine was always responsive to queries and provided a wealth of information in the welcome pack before we arrived. This enabled us to plan fully and make the most of our time on the new forest.

We have just spent the Easter weekend at this wonderful cottage - 4 adults and 2 children under 6 years old, and I have to say that Joel & Gaby’s place near the new forest is absolutely fabulous. Very spacious and ideal if you are looking for a getaway with a hot tub and table tennis in the garden. The cottage is in a great location, about 10 min drive to Paultons Park with peppa pig world so an absolute must for kids. It’s also not far from the new forest itself and Lyndhurst town. It was really tidy & clean, with a well equipped kitchen and bathrooms stocked with fresh towels. We were left a lovely gift on arrival of fresh bread, milk, eggs and a bottle of Prosecco which was an absolute treat! I couldn’t recommend this cottage more - thank you Joel & Gaby we had a fabulous time and would stay again in future.

Had a great time at the Wisteria Lodge - very clean, hosts were very friendly and was perfect for a quiet getaway from the city. Would recommend!

We stayed for 4 nights in April 2025, 2 adults and 2 children (9 and 13). Fabulous stay, the cottage is lovely and tucked away from the road. The hot tub was a big hit and made the stay that little bit more amazing! Excellent host and a lovely cottage, we will be back.

We had a very lovely stay at the cottage. It was exactly what we wanted. The cottage is absolutely beautiful in a gorgeous setting. It was so peaceful and relaxing. There is so much wildlife around which was beautiful to see. There is plenty of room and the hot tub was amazing. Keith is an amazing host and nothing is too much trouble, he was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be recommending this place and would stay again.

Stayed for 4 nights in this peaceful ‘Hideaway’. The views were amazing and the hosts were really helpful - we even booked a reflexology treatment. The home had lots of amenities (tea, salt pepper etc) and there were lots of books/maps to read on the local area. There were beautiful walks on the doorstep and our dog enjoyed the enclosed garden. Would definitely recommend!

Carina was a good host and always available without being intrusive. The property is well priced and cosy with all the amenities required for an extended stay with lots to do on the doorstep in the beautiful area as well easily accessible links to the motorways to travel further afield. We visited the place and used it as a base as a family of 5 and spent a lot of the time out of the property as we were visiting family in the area. The amenities were great and we were able to wash the kids clothes that were getting dirty from all the outdoor activities available on the doorstep, we did a fair bit of walking in the surrounding country trails and went to legoland which is close by, the local pub was within walking distance and served fantastic food at a great price. I have nothing negative to say about the accommodation and host and would welcome another visit here, if I was to add a constructive appraisal would perhaps look to update the soft furnishings for a enhanced experience.

We had a lovely time. Love the location. Perfect for walkers. Inside was light and airy. Bed was very comfortable. The animals were happy and friendly and the area has lots of wildlife. We enjoyed going for walks and visiting Hungerfords Elaine's for lunch. Look forward to visiting again.

Clair's cottage is absolutely stunning and she is just the best host. One of the best places I've ever stayed at through AirBnb. cannot recommend enough!

We had such a wonderful stay, so much so we didn’t want to leave. Hilary was such a welcoming host and the cottage was so beautiful. Our whole family loved the cottage and we definitely want to come back. There’s so much to do in the area too. There’s lots of toys at the cottage for kids, including bath toys and a really cute outdoor kids dining table. Once the kids were in bed it was also so lovely and cosy for the adults. The pianos were also a great touch, we loved playing them and teaching the kids how to play. We would recommend the stay to everyone.

What a great setting for an escape to the country! I already miss waking up with the chickens and pigs to greet me every day. I also saw more wild animals and birds in my walks around here in a week, than I have in years in London. Auriol is a great host, relaxed, knowledgeable and friendly, and the property is exactly as described and shown here. Tips for other travelers: If you’re a light sleeper bring an eye mask and earplugs as it does get sunny in the main bedroom. Looking forward to returning here!

Great stay in a very quiet and peaceful village. Great dog walking from the door. Sun room and lounge an excellent place. Host very helpful, even got a tour of the village and learnt all about the history.

What a stunning cottage! It matched the idyllic location. Decor was simple and comfortable, the kitchen was very well equipped and my husband wants to steal the shower. Fresh flowers, a generous fruit bowl and milk made a kind welcome. The peaceful, dog-secure, suntrap garden is great to relax in after long walks on the South Downs with many paths starting from the front door. The George is a friendly pub with good food and drink within 5 minutes stroll. Wagtail Cottage is the perfect place to unwind.

Lorraine and Baz were lovely and gave us all the relevant information. They we’re flexible with check out times and all questions were answered quickly. The local pubs were lovely and we met regulars who gave us further information about walks which we went on that were lovely, definitely check out Avebury if you stay. The hot tub was a lovely touch! A really great house for our New Forest visit. Managed a couple of very enjoyable gravel bike rides along the coast and through the forest. This is a great base for exploring the forest.

Me and my girlfriend loved our stay at Harbour Cottage in Cowes. The living room and kitchen were spotless, and the bed was super comfortable. Easy walking distance from the centre of Cowes and everything we needed for our stay. Host was helpful and always on hand if we needed anything. A lovely stay and would recommend! Abby Barletta

Perfect cottage with great amenities and a great location for us. London easily accessible and also West Sussex. Sociana was the perfect host We hope to be back James and Charlotte.

A very enjoyable weekend away. The inside is beautifully furnished to suit the old property. The beds are comfy, kitchen well equipped and books, games and interesting bits and bobs make this place a home from home. a breakfast of eggs from the chickens in the garden was a real treat. my children enjoyed the garden and collecting eggs. Lymington town is a pleasant walk if you're able.

This a real gem, perfect for exploring the Isle of Wight. The property is tucked away in a quiet mews only 2 minutes from the town centre. The house was immaculate upon arrival and Susan the host had left some nice touches like the bottle of Prosecco in the fridge, as well as other treats. Very comfortable beds and a decent shower which was nice. Lovely spacious downstairs accommodation and nice comfy sofas in the lounge. Outside is a real sun trap ideal for eating al fresco or just sunbathing. The host Susan was very helpful and always responded quickly. A great find, and highly recommended!

As soon as you walk into Natacha's place, you feel as if you can relax. The stunning neutral tones throughout the house give you a feel of the ocean & fresh air. Natacha was very helpful & responsive throughout our stay with very quick replies to any queries we had. The house was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing time away & her personal touches made it that much more special. The rooms were cosy & inviting & the view from the main bedroom & outside deck were out of this world at sunset! We are already talking about booking our next stay here as we loved it that much. It was our first time in the Isle of Wight & definitely won't be the last - what a lovely friendly little island! Getting around the island was so easy and quick with our car. Loads of family friendly activities close by. Tapnell Farm was a firm favourite with my children! Thank you Natacha, We feel blessed to have shared in your little piece of paradise :)
