had such a lovely stay at the little cottage. great spot to just relax and be in a secluded little sun trap away from any hustle and bustle. hot tub was perfection, garden is just perfect to sit and read our books and have some drinks, kitchen was easy to use and got the job done for cooking, shower was nice and hot and good pressure (sounds silly but i think the shower is always worth a mention!) bed was so comfy, best we’ve slept in weeks! really appreciate the sky box being included, great value for money here. big thanks to Lorraine!

The house was absolutely lovely, very clean and comfortable, everything you needed. Hot tub was a bonus. I will definitely be going back when I’m back in the area working. Gaby and Joel responded very quickly and even brought us a fan in short notice as the weather was getting hot. 5 stars

Had a good stay and used the location as a base to explore the North Wessex Downs. The house itself was as described and the kids enjoyed the hot tub. Large garden for kids to run around in.

We just had a wonderful long weekend in Wherwell in Rob & Sue’s beautiful cottage. Such a stunning village, the cottage exceeded our expectations, Rob & Sue were fantastic hosts & the breakfast pack was great. We finished the weekend with a lovely soak in the hot tub. Thank you Rob for the lift on the Saturday & your kindness.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house, cozy yet spacious and with an amazing garden. It was the perfect spot to celebrate a birthday, enjoy the sunshine, relax in the hot tub, and gather around the firepit and BBQ. Keith and Jean were very welcoming and kindly showed us around, even though we arrived late. A fantastic place, we highly recommend it!

Neil was such a fantastic host, very welcoming and made us girls feel right at home! The location was perfect, a beautiful countryside setting. The cottage itself was completely tucked away within the farm grounds and felt very private! Plenty of space & lovely garden / hot tub with stunning views over fields. So lovely and we’re already looking at booking for a winter girls trip! Thanks again to Neil & his family for hosting us!

We loved staying at Renny's place in Arundel. We were able to park our car right in front of the house each day as we returned from our outings, and we also walked to the Castle, restaurants, and coffee. Very nicely decorated and loved the original art.

We had a lovely time. Love the location. Perfect for walkers. Inside was light and airy. Bed was very comfortable. The animals were happy and friendly and the area has lots of wildlife. We enjoyed going for walks and visiting Hungerfords Elaine's for lunch. Look forward to visiting again.

Excellent accommodation. We stayed for 4 weeks and it had everything we needed - including all the cooking facilities to prepare a 3 course lunch for friends. Cottage photos & description are accurate. Peaceful & private location at the end of a lane with a great gastro pub nearby. Train line is nearby but you quickly get used to it & it doesn't interfere. Lots of lovely walks directly from the cottage, especially along the Itchin river. Caroline is a responsive and helpful host. Train station at the end of the lane, but we found it easier to drive the 10 mins into Winchester and use a public carpark (plenty of availability). Just book it!

Our stay with Caroline & David was great. Very friendly, helpful & were always willing to help with anything. The property & gardens were amazing & safe for our dog Olive who does like to wander every nook & cranny. The bottle of bubbly, crisps, home made jams, & Olive’s doggy treats were most welcome & a nice touch. Thank you! We made the very most of our stay regarding sightseeing & it was always nice to return to our dwelling at the end of the day. Hope to return in the future.

Wow, what a place. Literally the best place we’ve stayed at so far. The house was lovely. More than enough space for us two. Was clean and very homely. Had a great intro pack with info on local area, walks and things to do, including Marwell zoo, which we enjoyed on the final day. The surroundings are amazing. Lovely walk in the woods at end of the property. Stunning. Farley mount, wildlife, peace and quiet. Lovely little garden to chill in. The kitchen was very well equipped, with everything I needed to make dinner each night. Including microwave, oven, induction hob, and all cooking equipment. That was important to us. Was nice to have all that. The driveway was big enough for both our cars, easily. Shower was fantastic, nice and big, and powerful. Bath was good too. I hope all this info is detailed enough for others to make the right choice, and book it also! Thank you Debbie, you are a great host, and look forward to staying again sometime. 10/10. Loved our stay at Lavender Cottage - it is so cosy and homely and in a stunning location. Our dog, Lyra, enjoyed the garden and the neighbouring polo field! Comfy bed and great log burner - a fabulous place for a short break.

Beautiful location and the host added very thoughtful amenities like a choice of bubble baths to choose from, a massager machine, fans in every bedroom which was very much needed during this heatwave. The choice of teas and coffees were amazing too.

We really loved our stay in this little cottage. A perfect get away for 2. Philippa was very friendly and accommodating and the little breakfast trays were a bonus! Easy to find with clear instructions and in a peaceful area. Overall, a lovely place to stay.

We had such a wonderful time staying here and could not have asked for a better experience. Sophie made it very easy in terms of finding the barn and checking in, it was also so clean and had a lovely welcome hamper and very clear and helpful instructions. As well as it feeling very smooth and stress free this place really did have the wow factor. The setting is so picturesque and very calming there was nothing better than sitting outside by the lake and enjoying the beautiful scenery with a cup of coffee. The animals also made it very special we were amazed to see the herd of deers near the house as well as the three horses galloping up and down and joyfully rolling around on their backs. I think witnessing these moments and seeing all the horses, alpacas, swans and deers living harmoniously together was so magical and really added to the stay. Thoroughly recommend this stay for literally anyone!

This is an outstanding airbnb. The cottage is gorgeous - charming, immaculate, well equipped, spacious and extremely comfortable. The village of East Meon is also gorgeous, as is the countryside around it, full of walking paths and country pubs. And there’s more, you will find generous breakfast provisions and a variety of delicious home made treats, and a lovely garden in which to enjoy them. Yet more, and best of all, Richard and Gaye are the best hosts and nicest people you will meet. There needs to be an extra category of especially outstanding airbnbs such as this.

We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at Mallards Cottage and will definitely return for a longer stay. The cottage was comfortable and well equipped with nice touches such as fresh flowers and a selection of basic provisions in the fridge. We found it very homely with lovely views across the large lawn. The host family were very welcoming and friendly especially with local information and places to eat. We would thoroughly recommend Mallards Cottage to anyone.

Lovely cottage where we stayed for a short break. Spotless and in beautiful surroundings in Selbourne and had all that we needed. Helen is an excellent host with flexible arrival and leaving times. Relaxing walks around Selbourne and very good local pub in The Selbourne Arms (good selection of ales and food)

This was our second stay in this charming cottage which really says it all. It is perfectly located for us to visit friends and family. The property offers safe off-street parking which is great when you have a rented car. Sandra is welcoming, friendly and unobtrusive. We just relaxed and thoroughly enjoyed our week here.

We stayed at Rachel’s lovely cottage for two nights over Ascot race weekend, and it was an absolute delight. From the beautiful decor to the spotless cleanliness, every detail was perfect. We were especially touched by the thoughtful breakfast items left for us — such a personal and generous gesture that we’ve rarely experienced elsewhere. The beds were incredibly comfortable, with high-quality mattresses, pillows, and duvets that made for a great night’s sleep. I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return if we’re ever in the area again. Highly recommended!

Regrettably, my husband and I were unable to make the trip to the Isle of Wight that weekend, but it was agreed that other members of my family (attending a cousin’s birthday party) would use the booking.
