We cannot praise Karen and Dave’s studio highly enough. Their home is surrounded by fields of pear trees and a beautiful garden. The decor is tasteful, comfortable and every detail has been thought about. Most importantly, it was spotlessly clean. We were greeted on arrival by Karen, our host, who showed us around our studio and gifted us fresh milk and home-baked cookies. In the morning, Karen had left us more fresh milk for our coffee and we were welcome to sit in their delightful garden. And then the crowning glory, breakfast is included! We were shown into the breakfast room which overlooks the pear fields and a Norman church - stunning. And what a breakfast … sourdough break and cinnamon buns baked by Karen and a delicious breakfast cooked by hubby Dave. Better than you’d get in a five star hotel .. oh and there was granola, fresh fruit, Greek yoghurt and local apple juice. Thank you both for a really lovely stay.

The place was pristine, beautiful home. right on the beachfront, offstreet parking oppersite the house. Sums it up, couldn't ask for more. The host was also proactive with clear instructions ahead of time and responsive when messaged. would recommend to anyone visiting Southend-on-Sea.

Couldn't say enough about our stay. We add a absolute wonderful time in the beautiful country. Peace and quiet The family on property couldn't be any more welcoming and hospitable. The house was great. Allister was an excellent host and very responsive to any queries. The attention to detail in the house is wonderful, really well done, quirky with thoughtful detail. Coffee machines are provided in every room with tea and coffee pods provided. There were 10 of us staying and the house suited us very well. We knew to expect that the dining area was small and could only accommodate 8 comfortably but we made it work. The heated gazebo outside seated all of us comfortably. It’s a shame the pub next door is currently closed as we were expecting to make use of that. We walked into both Canterbury and Whitstable, both were lovely walks and would recommend. Lastly, the purpose built spa on site was lovely. A great space for chilling out and beautifully done. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

David was an amazing host! The space was clean, and he was incredibly responsive. It was exactly what we needed. Couldn't have asked for a better stay.

The accommodation has everything you need… Fully equipped kitchen with washing machine and separate freezer for those staying for longer. Really nice corner settee in the lounge with flat screen TV and a small dining table with chairs. Comfortable double bed with en-suite. Nice enclosed outside area off the kitchen. Gaynor is a fantastic host and we will be staying again.

Wendy’s home was the perfect location for our time in Tunbridge Wells. The parking was super easy, and the house itself had everything we needed, including for our 18 month old. Wendy was the ideal host, and she went above and beyond in her communications and also in the special treats waiting for us when we arrived. I definitely recommend Wendy’s home!

Thank you for an absolutely lovely stay, we just had an impromptu night away with our children, and Diana's place was perfect. The barn was beautiful and ahad a lovely cosy, homely vibe. The pool was fantastic, my son absolutely loved it. We greatly appreciated all the essentials left for us in the kitchen. Diana and her husband were both lovely and there was plenty of information about the local area. Easy to find and lots to do locally, spotlessly clean and relaxed check in and late check out we're really helpful. We'd love to come back again!!

Thank you to Carol and Guy for a wonderful stay at their beautiful Airbnb! The Airbnb is peaceful and surrounded by stunning gardens which our daughter loved exploring - even more beautiful than the photos in real life 😊 Comfortable bed, with everything you need in the Airbnb itself and lovely breakfast each morning. Carol and Guy were so welcoming and we loved meeting Marv their dog, they were always easily contactable and gave us local recommendations. Highly recommend - thank you! Xx

We stayed here for 2 nights and were very satisfied with our stay. The bungalow was clean, tidy and well looked after. We had some breakfast cereals, tea, coffee, sugar and a fresh milk in the fridge provided which was a lovely touch. The beds were comfy and there was plenty of storage space for our belongings. Pictures of the garden do not do it justice as this was huge and was enjoyed thoroughly by my 5 year old. The host was friendly and very welcoming. Whilst the decor is a bit dated, it had a very homely feel and we would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay at Standen Granary. It was just what we were looking for, somewhere comfortable to relax and enjoy being outdoors. The property has everything you need for a very comfortable stay, is spotlessly clean and is tastefully furnished to a high quality. We particularly appreciated being able to relax in the beautiful garden. Thank you to Cecilia for being a really great host and always being quick to reply to any questions we had. This is well located for visiting Rye and Camber Sands and we also had a lovely walk to The Three Chimneys pub, which took just over an hour and we'd definitely recommend.

What a great place, it’s in a perfect location for so many things to do within a short drive. Wonderful setting and peaceful property, it has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Charlotte was very helpful and provided lots of clear instructions and useful information. Look forward to buyable to return when wee are next in the area.

We had a wonderful time in this cute and cosy cottage. It is a hiddem gem! Perfectly located for trips and walks in the area and very easy, nearby train transport for a visit to London. The cottage itself is away from all the rumour and crowds, so a perfect place to relax. We very much enjoyed Hilary's kindness and hospitality. So of course we recommend this place!

We stayed for a few nights in May. We found the gate easily, as was directed on the photos. The property was securely gated with a large field, and paddock for the sheep, who were very friendly, and even friendlier (once they knew you had snacks!) The cottage was very well presented with a fully equipped kitchen for all purposes. The bathroom and bedroom were very clean, which made us feel at home straight away. There are clear directions given in the information pack which gives you the wifi, local amenities and even a take out menu. Local shops were an 8 minute drive through nice country roads. We didn’t meet the hosts, but they were friendly and fast responders to any messages we sent, and they checked up on us the day after check in to see how we slept and if we needed anything. We had the privacy and quiet that we wanted coming from a busy city. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful countryside break with LOTS of green space!!

The Cow Shed was perfect! Spotlessly clean, private and beautiful location, immaculate attention to detail, helpful welcome pack, spare toiletries and beautiful breakfast selection. We had a lovely stay and the accommodation was full of character and really well located for National Trust properties or a trip in to London. Many really good pubs / restaurants not too far away with most being 'Dog Friendly'. Other reviews are 100% correct, "The Scrambled Eggs were excellent", and thank you for making us feel welcome.

We had a fabulous stay. The Cottages are ideal for a family group. There were 9 of us for the week - grandparents, mums and dads and 3 grandchildren under 6. There was plenty of space and the garden is enormous. The kids loved it - particularly running round the tennis court, riding in the children’s buses and tractors and going on woodland trails. There was even a slide and climbing frame. Inside, the cottages were very well appointed - comfy beds, lots of sofas and tvs and so many bathrooms. Couldn’t fault it - and Lydia and Lieven were lovely: very friendly and helpfully, but also unobtrusive. A great combo. The location is also good. There is a pathway from a gate at the far end of the garden to Yalding village, which has just the right number of useful shops - and a good Indian restaurant. Within easy driving distance there are several National Trust properties, play areas and interesting towns. All in all - a great stay which we would strongly recommend.

Just magical! The cabin and surroundings are even better in the flesh. Completely peaceful and private. Fern is a fantastic host, there is nothing more we could have asked for. Lovely people and gorgeous surroundings. We stayed four nights and wished I’d booked more. There is so much to do and explore in the area but we really didn’t want to leave the cabin. The fishing is excellent, 33 fish in two and a half days. We visited Bewl Water and Tunbridge Wells. The cabin - just perfect. The bed, linen, pillows are all completely lush! Lots of hot water and towels (which were lovely!), plenty of room in the kitchen which is very thoughtfully equipped, and the outside area is perfect. Loved the south facing decking and the undercover seating. Sunshine all day long! Plenty of wildlife, we even saw the resident kingfish. Two wonderfully friendly ducks and the dogs and geese kept us fully entertained! Plenty of local pubs/shops etc too. Thank you Fern for a wonderful break 🥰

Had a lovely 2 nights here, was a perfect little peaceful break and ideal if you have a doggy. Full secure garden area was great to let our pup run around and not have to worry about getting out. The local pub that Jo has just taken over, Price of Wales is a really nice pub with great food and staff, which is walkable from the cabin. Had a really good stay thank you so much!

A very beautiful and unique place to stay. The decoration is quirky and delightful. Definite,y would recommend.

We had a short stay but the place was very spacious, quite unique, well decorated and had fantastic views being on the seafront. Great for sunsets too! The local area was peaceful but has some amenities, cafes, restaurants, pier and arcade so everything you need to have a break. Canterbury & Ashford are not far for some sightseeing/shopping. Angela was a great host too! Thanks again!

Lovely little place! Gorgeous walk through woods on your doorstep, dog friendly, and lovely bedroom and bathroom! Nice garden area too, and parking right outside. There’s no oven or hob but the listing does explain that!
