Very nice accommodation and friendly communication. Everything was very tidy and clean and we wanted for nothing. We felt very comfortable. A clear recommendation!

Accommodation as described, but furniture is a bit from another era, the accommodation is suitable for a family of 4 without problem, quiet.

This is a beautiful place to stay on the banks of the Charente which we enjoyed from the canoe but just loved seeing it flowing along edging the grounds. We came on the train which is a very easy journey from Paris to Jarnac. It is then less than an hours walk along the cycle path or quicker along the very quiet road. The market in Jarnac is excellent and there’s some nice cafes and bars. In Bourg Charente itself the bar tabac sells morning baguette and croissants, especially good to put an order in the day before. Also in the village La Ribaudiere restaurant was absolutely amazing and an experience not to be missed. So this is a great place to stay if you are car free like us but bicycles really help too especially with direct access to the 400 km path La Flow Velo. Lots of fun! Thanks to Andrea and Dominic.

Very nice apartment in an atypical quality place. We really enjoyed visiting the city of Cognac with this comfortable base to rest. Very comfortable bedding, taste in the layout. Anne Marie Pascoli

Wow!! Marie's house was beautiful and in lovely, tranquil surroundings. We were a party of 5 and the house and amenities were perfect. It was great to have a swimming pool to cool off from the summer sun. We booked for a week at a late stage but from the first enquiry to Marie and throughout our time there Marie was always very quick and helpful to respond. We absolutely recommend this wonderful house and host, but hopefully there will still be the opportunity for us to book again when we are in the Charente.

We stayed for a month and had an incredible time. A Beautiful countryside that is easy to explore on foot and bike. House is great and lots of cooking kit.

Beautiful environment, very clean house and very suitable for all kinds of families, canal with spectacular canoes, plancha and outdoor area for very functional barbecue and Tony always very willing to any issue we had. We've been phenomenal.

Alfie and I had a great time at Lee's immaculate courtyard cottage while house hunting in the area. Communication was excellent from beginning to end. A lovely, cosy place and a much appreciated and unexpected tipple awaited us after a long drive, which was very welcome! Nothing was too much trouble. The quality of decor and bed linen is first class. We are looking forward to our next stay again soon. Highly recommended.

Ann was very available, and was very accommodating (especially on our arrival time, a thousand thanks for that) The accommodation is very large, we stayed at 14 (9 adults and 5 children) and we did not lack space (except maybe on the kitchen table in rainy weather) The exterior is huge, and great for the kids. The pool is large and its access is well secured. The game room with darts, ping, badminton... and the bike room with bike available are really a plus.

Nicole is a great host. Friendly and warm, we had a very pleasant second stay at her property. The apartment is as described. We recommend it.

Amandine's house is in a very good location, allowing you to get around Cognac on foot. It's very easy to park on the street, right at the house. The environment is quiet, no noise. The house is well decorated and comfortable. Both bedrooms are large. The house is well-equipped. The electronic key system with app is very easy to use. Amandine was welcoming and very responsive to our few questions.

This helped us to get to know what it is like to live in a very old charming French farmhouse. We loved it and the location. Well worth the price. I recommend it. Gordon Smith

Pet-friendly single-story home. 3 large bedrooms. Garden is large enough. Lots of sightseeing within an hour's radius. Supermarkets not far away. Very peaceful because set back from the road. 3 parking spaces including 1 covered. Poor TV reception but the very good quality of the WiFi counterbalances this. Very well-equipped.

Josée is a very welcoming, thoughtful host and I spent 3 very pleasant days in her little house. If I come back to Saintes, I'll be back
