Our Cabin in the Trees

Rural location in Tappen. Our 400 sq ft one bedroom suite is equipped with a full kitchen, living space and a bathroom with a shower. Whether you are looking for a weekend escape, attending a local event, or in transit between Vancouver and Calgary, you will enjoy the peace and quiet of our surroundings. We have a second unit on the ground floor of our house called The Sunset Studio. If you are traveling with someone else and they would like their own space, check its availability calendar.

Authentic Finnish Log Cabin on Lakefront property at White Lake. Space for an RV is available. This small log cabin is perfect if you want a simple comfortable place to relax close to the lake. Not a glossy hotel, more upscale rustic. Relax around a campfire, enjoy beautiful sunsets from the dock a short walk from the cabin, rent the wood heated sauna, go for a hike or go fishing. We are on the quiet side of the lake and this is the only rental on the property. We live here year-round.

Wild Roots Farms Guesthouse

Located between Salmon Arm and Enderby our modern yet cozy Post and Beam Suite is the perfect getaway. Surrounded by nature you can relax and recharge. Enjoy the outdoors with lots of things to do in the area and visit our farm animals. Our 600 sf open concept furnished studio has large panorama windows, and a well equipped kitchenette so you can prepare your own meals. We also offer complementary coffee and tea. The cabin is off the grid with solar lighting, gravity fed water for washing and drinking and a brand new new outhouse for the potty room. Artfully crafted cabin beside a small pond in the forest. Wake up to soft forest light and singing birds. The enclosed porch features huge windows that can be fully opened for an outside feel. The property is lakefront and guests have access to a small non motor lake where they can paddle, float and swim. The property is 20 minutes from Sun Peaks, surrounded by hiking trails, lakes, golf courses and lots of outdoor activities.

Whether it’s your home on the way or a longer stay, you will enjoy your time here. Our little cabin has been recently fully renovated and is very clean. It is situated just 5 minute drive to Sunnybrae beach, 10 minutes to Blind Bay and Salmon Arm is just 15 minutes away. The yard shares a fence with horses, sheep and entertaining goats. We welcome well behaved dogs in the cabin, please let us know if you will be bringing one.

Two minutes from White Lake. Ten minutes from Shuswap Lake.
