Due to the close proximity to Twyford station there may be some noise from time to time.

We are located very near the Royal Berkshire Hospital and University of Reading. We have a bedroom, garden room and bathroom for people to use during their stay (nothing is shared). There is a separate entrance to the guest's accommodation and there is no access to the main house. We have a cat who sleeps in the adjoining room (our utility room), but will not have access when guests stay. There is no breakfast supplied. There is on road parking on weekday evenings and weekends.

I stayed with Ludovic for one night in Twyford after attending a wedding. He kindly waited up until 11:30 PM to let me in, which I really appreciated — especially as it was quite late and likely an inconvenience. The room was small but had everything I needed. The bed was comfortable, and I slept very well (though I was admittedly exhausted). The bathroom is shared with the family, but it was clean and well-kept. The shower was a bit lively — the hose had a mind of its own if left unattended — but otherwise, it was a good experience. What really stood out was Ludovic’s kindness. I had accidentally left my toothbrush behind, and he generously drove to the station to return it to me — a thoughtful gesture that went above and beyond what you'd expect from a host. Thank you again, Ludovic. I’d gladly stay again.

Jeff's place was a great place to stay. Lovely room, comfortable single bed, access to the kitchen a bonus. Jeff was very helpful and communicative and both the room and the area were very peaceful. I only stayed a couple of nights, but I would be happy to stay much longer. Also a great location for both Reading and Henley.

An illustrated thank you card features a large, green cactus adorned with a pink flower. The card conveys gratitude through a handwritten note, expressing appreciation for the hospitality received during a stay.

Had a lovely stay with Nicola. The room was large and clean. The kitchen available with everything I needed.. space in the fridge etc. Plenty of car parking. Nicola was great company. Would definitely book in again if I’m in the area again. Thank you xx

Danuta is a charming and friendly host who deserves the very best of guests for her and her daughter to share her home with. It was a pleasure to meet them and the coffee was excellent. Would definitely recommend especially for those 6ft tall or less as otherwise the bed might be a little small. Would stay again

Ruth was a very cooperative host. She guided me from Canterbury to Reading regarding everything — cab, bus, etc. — as it was my first visit to Reading. The room was very nice and peaceful, and my stay was excellent. I would definitely recommend Ruth to everyone for a pleasant experience.
