As well as its own private terrace, there are stone steps for easy access to the river for kayaking and paddle boarding and a 20m long swimming pool and formal gardens. The property is situated in the heart of a picturesque village that has both a Michelin starred restaurant and a local café just a 2 minute walk away.

The mill house

At the heart of the Charente vineyards, old mill of the late 18th century completely renovated with heated pool and jacuzzi. Quiet on the edge of a small village, by the river and only 4 km from Pons, near Cognac, Bordeaux, Royan, La Rochelle ... All rooms are equipped with storage, queen size beds, televisions. In the heart of the Poitevin marsh, on the immediate edge of the river, in a quiet area, the accommodation is ideally located to travel between Niort, the marsh, La Rochelle, Ile de Ré, Futuroscope, Vendée, Puy du Fou, Palmyre Zoo, Ile d'Oléron… Christelle and Jean-Michel, former boatmen guides, will be happy to introduce you to the marsh.
