Jean-Pierre is a very attentive host! Always smiling, even on the phone, and very welcoming and helpful! We enjoyed the accommodation which was as described and as pictured, but we were unable to enjoy the pool as much as we would have liked, which is very nice, well maintained and clean. It's close enough to everything, St Palais, Royan and Palmyre are just minutes from Jean-Pierre's. Thank you Jean-Pierre for your hospitality and kindness, we will recommend your accommodation! It was a dream stay. We find a lovely home and the warmth of the hosts. Both Marie and her mother Nadine and her grandmother Jeanine were adorable, pending at all times, preparing us some exquisite breakfasts and opening their home and their hearts to us. The location, the house itself, everything was wonderful. A unique experience that we will repeat.

Very nice stay. Walking distance to AYTRÉ beach in 10 minutes, beautiful walk along the sea. House with large terrace very nice and quiet. Close to La Rochelle and Chatelaillon 15 minutes by car. Rooms on the ground floor in the cool when it is 27. We'll be there again. Thanks for the stay.

A most excellent stay, comfortable, quiet, great pool, good facilities, great location for us, the provided breakfast was way better than expected, we would highly recommend The Grange and both Ian and Carol as hosts, superb value for money, and an ideal rural Frenchland location (pothole free roads yay), cheers!

Excellent stay, absolutely recommended, anytime again. We felt very comfortable with Sylvie and her husband. Beautiful apartment with small sitting area in front of the house and views of the beautiful garden. Sylvie and her husband were exceptionally hospitable and attentive. In the morning, Sylvie invited us to her house at the time we chose for a very tasty breakfast with coffee, croissants, baguette, etc. They also offered us a transfer ride to the port of Blaye, which we were very happy to accept. What a very nice touch! Unfortunately, we only spent one night there, but would come back anytime and recommend the place wholeheartedly. Simply wonderful!

The room is very nice and spacious, and matches the listing. The accommodation is very clean. The outdoor kitchen allows for an extra meal and brings a vacation touch, even though I was there for work! 😉I recommend staying with Alain and Irene.

We had a great time at Lil's place. Lil is a great host with whom it is very nice to chat with. We were warmly welcomed with lots of little touches, the breakfasts were delicious, the conversations were always very kind and the recommendations of restaurants and activities were great!!
