GREAT PLACE TO STAY WITH FAMILY... SPECIALLY IF TRAVELLING WITH INFANTS.....KITCHEN PROVIDED BY THE HOST..GREAT FOR SMALL MEAL PREPS FOR INFANTS.

There are no words for how much I loved my stay at the farm. I came here as a solo female on my first trip to India and couldn’t have found a better introduction. The setting is incredible, the room is charming and private, but on top of that, Ashok the caretaker is just a treasure, and Sachin who was the recommended taxi driver was also a delight. I felt like I was saying goodbye to family after only 4 nights. Niyati and Abhi were out of town for a friend’s wedding and even so were incredibly attentive and proactive about making sure I had an excellent stay. I can’t recommend them enough. If you are wanting to be in the middle of the tourist attractions of Dharamshala and Mcleodganj, this is not the place for you. It is 45 minutes out, which was very doable for the days I wanted to spend up there but obviously not in the thick of it. But if you want peaceful beauty and local experience and truly delightful care, don’t miss this place.

It is indeed a home between mountains! If you and your travel partner is looking for some peace this is the place to be! Good locality (accessible) , quiet home, great views along with the water gushing in the stream below, super clean house, kitchen stocked with all essentials, responsive host and a super helpful caretaker - all this makes this place a perfect getaway. For me and my family to travel all the way from Kerala to this nook in Dharamshala and leave this place which was our home for a week with such raving review! We just went for local Dharamshala & McLeod+Dharamkot sightseeing for 2 days and rest of the days we spent resting, going on our trekking, experiencing tranquility. We cooked on our own, especially because getting safe food was a priority. Nearby there is a cafe, a few grocery store, medical store and basic necessities. You can swiggy/zomato in the food. Special mention to Rohit, the caretaker who is more like a brother, genuine and super supportive! Go for it

This place took our breath away from the moment we entered, it is a THE perfect place to rest and recoup (view is gorgeous). It is very serene, wonderfully aesthetic, spotlessly clean and tastefully done.. we are already plotting how to get back! Rahat’s warmth and company were definitely the icing on the cake. All his local recommendations were spot-on too! Can’t recommend this place enough!!

Thanks a lot Jessica for hosting such a beautiful property. The staff was very courteous and what can I say about the location and the architecture of the place. My my. One of the best stays in the Himalayas for me. So peaceful with a majestic view of the mighty dhauladhar range. Highly recommended.

I stayed with my relatives at Birdhouse and we had booked the whole villa. We had a fantastic experience starting from Ashish reaching out to us, giving us clear instructions and even arranging the cabs as well. Starting from check in, the caretakers Pawan and others took great care of us and welcomed us warmly. The food, snacks, tea/coffee everything was delicious. They were very proactive in helping us and recommended us few places to visit near the property as well. Won’t think twice to stay here if I visit Dharamkot again :)

We had an amazing stay at Nazara House, perfectly situated between lower Dharamsala and the upper regions like McLeodganj. The view from the property is absolutely stunning—you get a panoramic look at the Dharamsala valley and the HPCA stadium, and on clear days, the Dhauladhar range is a majestic sight to behold. The house itself is extremely well-equipped with everything you could ask for—three spacious bedrooms, a modern kitchen with all necessary appliances (fridge, microwave, purifier, etc) and even a washing machine and bathtub in the bathroom. The highlight was definitely the pool table in the living area—a great way to unwind after a day of exploring. Sukhdev ji, our host, was warm, helpful, and ensured we had a very comfortable stay. There was also a kind and efficient maid who helped with cooking and maintaining the house, making it feel like a true home away from home. Highly recommended for families or groups looking for a peaceful yet accessible base in Dharamsala.

We had a great stay. Rohitash was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were great- they included electric blankets and room heaters. Bathroom fittings were top notch. Suraj helped carry the luggage (property requires climbing up about 2-3 floors to access), and made excellent tea (at a small additional charge). Location is very peaceful, with fantastic views. Some of the rooms have microwave/induction stove etc. There's a common kitchen too, but ask for access. A few things to be aware of: - the main market, and therefore restaurants, are a bit of a walk away. And that walk includes a small section with a steep slope. Which is mostly ok, but walking up that path for dinner after an active day can feel daunting, depending on your fitness levels :-) - all the rooms are on one level, and the common areas (dining, kitchen, living) are on a different level. The stairs are not indoors. Not a big deal, but if you're there in the cold season, can be a bit if a nuisance.

I stayed for 4 pleasant nights and my stay was extremely comfortable. The property was correctly explained in the description. It has all the amenities for a longer stay and the owner is very helpful. I would definitely recommend this property and it is a value for money.
