Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Chalikounas

Wir waren für 12 Nächte mit unserem 2,5 jährigen Sohn in Olga‘s Haus. Der Check-in abends um 21 Uhr war problemlos möglich- das war super. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Besonders gut fanden wir die vorhandene Waschmaschine und Klimaanlage. Auch der große Aussenbereich war herrlich. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen! Wir hatten den einen Tag Stromausfall. Eine Vorwarnung wäre super gewesen😁 Vielen Dank an Olga und Nico für alles.

Wir waren 7 Tage im Minerva Estate und waren sind noch total begeistert von der Unterkunft. Alles war wie beschrieben und Pavlos war super nett und zuvorkommend. Self-Checkin wurde ermöglicht und wir bekamen vorab Fotos, um alles zu finden. Pavlos ist ein hilfreicher und netter Host, der sich sehr um die Zufriedenheit der Gäste und die Anlage kümmert. Auf unsere Anfragen wurde ohne Zögern gastfreundlich eingegangen. Die gesamte Anlage und die Wohnung ist in super gutem Zustand, blitzeblank sauber und zum Wohlfühlen. Wir kommen sehr gerne noch einmal wieder!

We absolutely loved Irini’s place. Really unique, the pictures do not lie, it is stunning. We love the beach but have never stayed quite so close before, just a few steps away is the Ionian, sandy, warm, just beautiful. Complimentary sun beds, cushions & umbrella on what is almost your own private each, makes you feel incredibly special. The apartment is so comfortable & has everything you could possibly want. The outside space is huge, great for dining, relaxing. Great escape from the sun/heat if needed. Irini & her family could not have been more hospitable, so friendly & kind. The fridge was stocked with so much more than just essentials, so much kindness - in addition the fabulous (blue) supermarket just a few minutes walk away - we could not fault anything. Cannot recommend highly enough.

This is truly Greek village living. The whole experience was fantastic. The people in the village are all very friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. The host Angelina is a wonderful host, always available with any questions or suggestions. Highly recommended and will be returning as often as we can *****

Die Unterkunft ist einfach wunderschön! Man merkt, dass mit viel Liebe eingerichtet wurde und sich auch jetzt noch sehr gut gekümmert wird. Es ist super sauber gewesen und wurde auch während unseres Aufenthalts noch einmal sehr gründlich geputzt. Die Gastgeberinnen sind zudem sehr freundlich, haben sich immer wieder nach uns erkundigt und sind schnell erreichbar gewesen. Der Blick auf das Meer sowie die Lage am Strand versüßen einem morgens direkt den Tag. Wir waren super happy und werden definitiv wiederkommen!!

Where do I start. Angelos Village is an oasis of luxury, a dreamy place I didn't want to leave. The hospitality was fantastic, great communication with Andreas. Hara met me and showed me what to see and do on Paxos, and was just so lovely. The room itself was spotless, a haven after long days out walking and beaching. The pool was a dream, with lots of little areas to sit and soak up the sun (or relax in the shade). I've never seen anything like the complimentary, homemade breakfast basket -- there was just so much food (did me for breakfast and lunch), it was different every day, and every single bit was truly delicious. Yes, it is a bit of a steep climb up from Lakka town, but as many other reviewers have mentioned, 1000% worth it for the superb view and the peace and quiet. Nearby Orkos Beach is a gem, as is Lakkos/Orkou Beach (a bit more of a walk but worth it). Overall, this is one of my favourite Airbnbs I've ever stayed in. Do not hesitate to book it for a special stay on Paxos.

We spent a few days in Mesongi as a family of four while exploring Corfu, and our stay at George’s place was a memorable highlight. The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. What truly set it apart was the warmth and hospitality George provided—it felt more personal and inviting than our subsequent stay at the larger Apollo Resort. That said, it’s important to know that the apartment sits above a vibrant and excellent traditional restaurant (which we highly recommend). With that comes some evening noise—clattering plates, conversation, and the energy of a Greek taverna in full swing. If you’re a light sleeper or turn in early, it may take some adjusting. Overall, if you value local flavor, authentic hospitality, and a central location in a lively village, this is a fantastic choice.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt. Alles war sauber und ordentlich aufgeräumt, die tägliche Reinigung hat super funktioniert und das Frühstück war wirklich hervorragend – eine tolle Auswahl und alles frisch. Einen kleinen Abzug gibt es dafür, dass unser Ansprechpartner sich an einem Tag gar nicht gemeldet hat, obwohl wir versucht haben, ihn zu erreichen. Das war etwas schade. Trotzdem haben wir uns insgesamt sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit gerne wiederkommen!

Die Unterkunft ist sehr familiär, sauber und gemütlich ; schöner Garten und kurze Wege an den Strand und nach Ksamil zu den Restaurants. Ermal und Mirela sind sehr zuvorkommend und bemüht den Aufenthalt so schön wie möglich zu machen!! Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt ! Vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft!!

Wir haben eine Woche in Sofias Studio verbracht. Das Studio liegt in einem kleinen ruhigen Dorf. Man hat einen wunderschönen Ausblick und sieht jeden Tag einen schönen Sonnenaufgang. Man kommt mit dem Auto schnell zum Strand oder zu anderen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Ich empfehle nur mit einem kleinen Auto anzureisen, da die Straßen und die Zufahrt zum Parkplatz sehr eng ist. Wir würden die Unterkunft jederzeit wieder Buchen.

Great value. Wonderful, clean little apartment located in a great village. Easy stroll into town with great restaurants and bars. We will be back!

Alles war perfekt, sehr idyllische Umgebung, Zimmer wie beschrieben, sehr sauberer gepflegter Pool, sehr sehr nette Ansprechpartnerin. Fußläufig sind mindestens 3 sehr gute Restaurants erreichbar und innerhalb von 20 Minuten kann man auch in den Ort laufen und hat dort alles was man braucht inklusive sauberem schönen Strand. Auto ist trotzdem empfehlenswert. Wir waren froh uns für diese Unterkunft entschieden zu haben und würden jederzeit wiederkommen um einen unkomplizierte, erholsamen Urlaub zu genießen :)

Elena, die Frau, die uns im Urlaub unterstützt hat, wohnte direkt nebenan. Sie war sehr lieb, sehr kompetent und sehr hilfsbereit. Man konnte sich sehr gut auf englisch mit ihr unterhalten. Die Wohnung ist hochwertig ausgestattet, alles sauber und aufgeräumt. Das Bett ist gut, die Küche gut ausgestattet, das Wohnzimmer ist groß genug. Der direkt davor liegende Rasen mit Liegen und Sonnenschirm lädt zum Relaxen ein, mit großartigem Ausblick auf das Meer. Man sollte unbedingt einen Leihwagen buchen, zu Fuß ist kaum etwas zu erreichen. Auf der ganzen Insel außer in der Hauptstadt ist zu Fuß gehen nicht vorgesehen. Insgesamt ein sehr schöner Urlaub zumal das Wetter auch sehr gut war.

What a cute little apartment. It had everything one needs: all the basic amenities plus an AC, a TV (with many channels), a hair dryer, and they even let me borrow an umbrella and gave me a pair of house slippers after I requested them. The front yard smells like an orchard in full bloom. Very tranquil and a stone's throw from the Green bus stop where buses to Corfu town come every hour or so. All in all, this experience was nothing short of wonderful and I wish I had stayed here longer. Thank you so much Alexandra and Panos.

What a beautiful dreamy stay!! The location is great, it is private and peaceful but only a short walk to benitses or 2 mins drive. It is such a gorgeous apartment perfect for a couple wanting a romantic getaway. The hosts were so helpful and proactive and provided great recommendations of local restaurants. The place was picturesque, so clean and tidy with towel changes regularly.

parking is a bit tricky (street parking, sometimes it's close to the property and sometimes not). wifi had some problems (dropped down a few times), but it was a provider-wide problem (nothing Angelos could do about it). be careful on the path from the main road up to the house as it can get very slippery after rain or morning dew. kitchen is great, has all the basic necessities (regarding appliances, kitchenware, utensils, spices and oils, coffee and tea). spacious shower, quality bedding and blackout curtains also add to the cosiness of the place. the terrace is perfect for breakfasts and brunches. there's a selection of greek, german, and english books, which was a very welcome surprise! front door is very secure, the whole apartment and the area feels safe. we felt right at home and cosy from the very first day.

Sofia is a wonderful and kind host, she welcomed us although we have made the booking in the last minute! The place is great, equipped with everything we needed, the coffee was a life saver 😊 It's minutes on foot to the old town, we have enjoyed it very much! thank you so much for your kindness and flexibility! and for the wonderful tips to get around the city😊

Super freundliche Gastgeber, die einen jeden Tag versüßen sei es durch selbst gemacht Marmelade oder einen Ausflugstipp. Die Unterkunft ist ideal gelegen und kein Ziel ist zu weit. Besonders hervorzuheben ist, dass es jeden Tag frische Handtücher gibt. Wir hatten eine super Zeit und würden es jedem wärmstem empfehlen hier zu übernachten!

The apartment is located on the second floor of a house - it has 2 more Airbnbs upstairs and Pavlos' parents live downstairs. They look after the guests very lovingly, we got fresh fruit from the garden and our sheets were changed very often (also received new towels). The house is located off the beaten path 5 mins away from Boukari beach, a car is definitely recommneded to go shopping and see some other parts of the island, but Boukari beach itself is also a very cute spot. All in all, we felt very relaxed!

We loved staying at Mia. The apartment was comfortable, relaxing and had everything we needed. It was a short walk to places to eat and small supermarkets. Nahla was a fantastic host and when I became ill, very quickly came to my assistance and helped me get medical attention. She went above and beyond to make sure I was ok. We were very appreciative of this. We recommend staying at Mia. We had a very enjoyable and relaxing time.

The property is well-located and offers good access to old town, restaurants and shops. The space itself is clean and matches the description provided in the listing. However, I did encounter some challenges during my stay. A strong sewage smell in the bathroom persisted for a few days, which made it difficult to use the facilities. While the issue was eventually resolved with the help of the host’s parents, the situation was uncomfortable for a portion of my stay. The communication with the hostess was responsive, but at times I felt the tone could have been more understanding. Overall, the stay had both positive aspects and areas that could be improved.

Such a beautiful place! The view is something else, just undisturbed green valley and mountains, with a sunset to die for! Almost constant sound of cicadas during the day and owls after sunset makes this place magical. Countless butterflies, lizards and buzzard circling the valley every day make no competition for the tv series you've been watching - you're not gonna turn the TV. The studio is just the right size for a couple. Very comfy, super clean, excellent huge bed. The's everything one need for a great stay and when I say everything I mean it. And the hosts, such a lovely family. They took great care of us. Special thank you to Lidsay for explaining everything, answering all our questions, interesting conversations and delicious cake. To us all roads lead to Corfu and we'll be back at your beautiful place for sure.

Très bel appartement, très propre, avec tout ce qu’il faut. La Clim dans toute les pièces et facilement accessible à pied et en bus. Proche du Lidl donc pratique pour manger. Si je reviens sur Corfu je pense sérieusement à reprendre cet appartement sans aucune hésitation! :)
