Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Central Saanich

We really enjoyed the tranquility. Having stayed for 3 nights, my wife and I would love to come back for a week or longer without our son. This place is so quiet and peaceful. It's the perfect for sitting in the yard, reading a few books and enjoying your thoughts.

The CQ was exactly what we wanted. Private cabin on a quaint farm. We had everything we needed and Henny knows exactly what she is doing! Great location 15 mins max to anything on the island. Priceless views and amazing architecture are showpieces of this magnificent home that combines coziness, elegance, comfort and rustic charm. We’ve stayed at many airbnbs, but this one is a new favorite. It’s an ideal getaway for the whole family; plus it’s close to interesting hikes and restaurants. The kitchen is well stocked for eating at home. We didn’t enjoy the taste of the well water, but bought drinking water at Tru Value. Carley was very responsive and helpful throughout. We would love to come back in the summer.

Caroline’s home is clean and comfortable and has stunning views. The upper deck was a wonderful place to relax and converse with friends! Caroline is a wonderful host. She provided excellent suggestions to make our stay even more enjoyable than originally planned. She is responsive and kind! I highly recommend Caroline’s home!

Beautiful location very close to local beaches and a 10min drive to Sooke for a wide choice of restaurants and shops. Very comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, very thoughtful welcome pack from Tess and large sofa with enough space for 4 adults. Beautiful views across the sea to Washington State on a clear day. The wildlife was an unexpected joy with deer and rabbits regularly on the grass in the mornings. Also worth a mention if you are a light sleeper, with the windows open, the birds are quite chatty from first light. Such a peaceful place to unwind. We will certainly be back and highly recommend to others.

Sky House exceeded our expectations in every way! Stunning, private location with incredible views of the water and forest. The house provided a lot of sleeping options and we enjoyed the pool table and board games. Close to hikes and trails and just a 45-minute drive from Victoria. A truly ideal, secluded vacation getaway in a gorgeous area of Vancouver Island.

Nigel's place was beautiful, with lovely views and a great yard for relaxing in. The neighborhood is peaceful and just a few minutes to Friday Harbor. Everything inside is comfortable and has many nice touches. Nigel was very responsive and accommodating when we had a last minute change. Our family would definitely recommend Nigel's and hope to stay again!

We had a great stay at this beautiful Airbnb. Was exactly as pictured…everything you could possibly need. I will say it does accommodate 4 people; however, I wouldn’t suggest adults sleeping on the couch… kids would likely be okay. Definitely enough space just not a comfy sleep. If you’re someone who doesn’t like to have an early morning start…the running around started around 6:40am…wasn’t an issue for us but could be for some people. Other than that you couldn’t hear any noise from upstairs…. Just kids being kids ❤️ Beautiful location with private seating outside. Having access to a washer and dryer was awesome (They did have detergent that we used but we picked up our own dryer sheets). There was flour, sugar, coffee, spices, etc…. Worth checking what is available before you buy your own… That was a nice surprise. We loved our stay and felt completely at home

This was one of the most beautiful and comfortable places we’ve stayed via Airbnb. The home is beautifully provisioned and the yard is fantastic. We loved sitting out back listening to the bubbling water and birds singing. The hosts were friendly and thoughtful. We would definitely choose again and highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay. Billie was friendly and approachable, and so wonderful. We enjoy the clean and comfortable place, and swimming pool. The place was very close from the main shopping/restaurants area and it made our stay very enjoyable. Thank you for everything Billie!

Our family of 8 felt right at home. Everyone having a king bed was very helpful. Kitchen was very well stocked for cooking. Sean answered back any inquiries quite quickly. We highly recommend Sean’s place.

We really loved the quietness and peacefulness of the place. The layout of the house was awesome. The entertainment was top notch. We even used the gym . I would definitely recommend this place if you are with a group of friends or family gathering!

What a great spot! Nestled in the woods in a peaceful and quiet setting this place is truly one-of-a-kind. The house is very unique with lots of character that sets it apart from the usual stays. It was clean and had all we needed. Our host Gramma Rikki was exceptionally warm and welcoming. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate, and we could not take advantage of all the outdoor spaces and amenities. We played pool, sat by the cozy fire and did some island exploring by car. All in all it was a very enjoyable and relaxing getaway despite the crummy weather. We hope to return one day and experience everything this wonderful place has to offer.

Derek’s place was very clean and cozy. It was very welcoming and we felt like home when we stayed at his place. My family were very comfortable while staying there and Derek was also easy to communicate wiith. Overall we had a wonderful time.

The street was very quiet. I think there was only one or two other cabins that were being used that week, which means we had a very peaceful stay. We locked out it was also very sunny the entire week. The place was amazing with big windows, it was clean, bright and beautiful. Thank you very much Cheryl. We had a wonderful stay. Great place for family and dog. Great back yard. Close to shops, beach and hiking. Very clean with all the amenities. Very artistic home with great art/books. Hosts were very welcoming to us and our puppy! A perfect stay .

It was a perfect stay. Exactly as described, a super cute hut located on their family farm. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals at home. Julia was so lovely. Super friendly and available, but always respected our privacy. Great location, you are close to amenities yet it felt like you were in the middle of nowhere. Great location if you want easy access to Shawnigan lake, cobble hill, mill bay, Duncan, Chemanis, Ladysmith. Would definitely stay here again.

lovely little place. comfortable and quaint and nice and close to Ganges so you don't have to find parking in town. really enjoyed the Sauna as well. Overall just a great time spent here :)

We had a fantastic stay! Comfortable bed, AC is great, has all the kitchen amenities you need and more! For our dog there was a bed, towel, bowls, and treats! The location is on a beautiful, private property with lots of trees and wildlife. Many hiking trails near by. The space is very clean and comfortable. Lance and Amber were fantastic hosts! We left a few items by accident and they generously shipped it back to us, really going above and beyond!

Ian’s place was the perfect stay for our long weekend. The accommodations were exceptionally clean and exactly as described. Ian greeted us when we arrived and was very friendly and helpful. The bed was super comfy and the sheets were soft. Surrounded by nature everything was peaceful and quiet. There were even deer and bunny rabbits on the property almost every day. We knew this ahead of staying there, as it’s shown in the listing photos, but there is no true “living room” in the North American sense. There is a lovely room with a wooden bench with pillows. No sofa or place to “lounge” that isn’t a bed - so if you’re planning on spending lots of time inside the AirBnB this might not be the best place (speaking specifically about the Misty Haven SUITE not main house). That being said, there are lots of comfortable spaces outside to enjoy and so many great places nearby. Would definitely recommend Ian’s place and hopefully will return to it in the future.

Top notch. Large, spotlessly clean, very comfortable beds. A little off-the-beaten-track, but beautiful location and very quiet. Close enough to Victoria and Buchart Gardens.

What a wonderful place. House was bright and airy and beautifully decorated. It had everything we needed and more. Lots of cupboard space in the bedrooms, comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen. We were 4 adults and there was tons of space for all of us. It was a great experience and although it was a bit of a drive into Victoria it was definitely worth it.

We had two people with us who had mobility issues. The house was quite accessible for them, except there is no stand-up shower. We rented a tub transfer bench for the week, which worked fine. The house was well-equipped, and the host was responsive very quickly whenever we contacted him.
