Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Central Otago

We enjoyed our stay at this cozy family home 😊 We were traveling with a toddler and the host kindly provided us with a cot & a highchair, and generally there was a lot to do with a little one. The house has beautiful views and a big outdoor space, which we really enjoyed. Note there is no aircon in the house, so we had to ask the host to help us with the heating since April nights were really chilly. Overall a nice stay, thanks for having us!

We absolutely loved our stay at Aimee’s beautiful home in Wānaka! The bottle of wine from Maude was a nice touch and we also appreciated the thoughtful list of recommendations for the area. We felt so relaxed and zen at Aimee’s which is saying a lot since we were also traveling with our baby. Highly recommend!

A very roomy and clean bnb in Lake Telapo that would be great for larger groups. The location is also convinent and the host is responsive and friendly.

Loveday's house is just as beautiful as in the photos. It feels quite new and is well insulated and sealed against the elements. There was wood for the fire and three portable heaters which were plenty enough. We loved the decorating and views out over the creek below. There are so many different species of birds in the garden it was amazing. Walking to the beach took minutes in a beautiful location. There are two bathrooms and a bath which was handy. There isn't a TV or WiFi , and my phone reception was one bar if that is a dealbreaker for you, but that meant we really switched off, relaxing, reading and getting a full night's sleep, which was quite restorative and better than watching the idiot box or doom scrolling on the socials. Loveday left chocolates and a great list of local places to go and eat. There are 12 long shallow steps down from the road amongst a rainforest and outdoor shower, which was a lovely entrance to the house. Great deck and more, ta!

The location was great, but the house wasn’t quite what we were expecting. Quite an old place with dusty carpets. As long as you don’t have high expectations it is fine, but it was still a bit expensive for the level of house in my opinion.

We really enjoyed our stay at Agnesa's place. The views were amazing and the location was perfect for us. We loved the quiet neighbourhood. The beds were comfy and the house was super clean. We loved the layout and style of the house. Would love to stay again.

The views here are really special - what a lovely place to spend a few days! The house is very comfortable and well provided for - we loved our stay as a family of 3 for 2 nights. We weren't able to do the Blue Pools track which we wanted to during our stay (as the construction of the new bridge is delayed again and now expected to finish by end of April instead of March) but we still loved the nearby attractions (Fantail Falls, Thunder Creek Falls, and accessing the beautiful river so close to the house) and really enjoyed our time waking up to that view!

Rays place was exactly as described with all modern amenities that made our stay as a family very comfortable and delightful. The location is ideal if you want a quiet and private accomodation but still close enough to the town centre. Glad we booked this one.

A beautiful modern apartment. Perfect for our family of 5. Great location. Loved all the trimmings. The most comfortable bedding. Enjoyed the hot tub after a day of hiking. Have already recommended it to friends. Thanks for a fantastic stay in Wanaka.

Had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful apartment, and I can honestly say it exceeded all my expectations. The space is incredibly clean, well-maintained, and beautifully designed. The apartment is also equipped with all the amenities needed for a short stay. It’s clear Dean and Katya have put a lot of effort into creating a cosy and stylish environment. The location is great — tucked away in a peaceful neighborhood, but just a short drive away from the town centre. I also want to give a special mention to Dean and Katya. They went the extra mile to guide us to the apartment when we had trouble locating it. They also made sure that we had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a fantastic place to stay.

Traveled down to Queenstown from Akl and were blessed to have absolutely stunning views from this beautiful Air Bnb. It was a perfect fit for my friends and I with comfy furniture and could enjoy the nice heated spa in the cool crisp air of Queenstown Definitely would recommend staying here for anyone visiting Queenstown! Was such a great place to stay, very spacious and tidy. Great having a cafe across the road for a coffee in the mornings. Arna was such a great host. Definitely recommend staying here if you want somewhere to relax. Also it was so great for the kids they really enjoyed their visit too.

We rented Sam and Jade’s apartment for a week, and the experience was truly memorable. The view from the apartment was stunning, with breathtaking mountain and serene lake. We were fortunate enough to witness snowfall during our stay, which made the trip even more special. The large floor-to-ceiling windows were perfect for taking in the incredible scenery. The apartment was warm, clean, and comfortable. Sam and Jade were kind enough to offer us early check-in and late check-out at no extra charge, which we greatly appreciated. The location was ideal, situated midway between the airport and the city, making it convenient for dinner and exploring Queenstown. The kitchen was stocked with a generous selection of tea, coffee, breakfast cereal snacks, chocolates, and crisps, which was a delightful surprise. Overall, our stay was unforgettable, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

A great spot to stay in Wānaka, located at the back of the property it was private and peaceful even with a number of airbnb’s on the property.

This place was just lovely. A great place to disconnect, paint, read, write and play card games. So peaceful and quiet. The sounds of the stream and bird life all that can be heard. Perfect place for star gazing late at night. We loved the deer coming to visit outside every day. A nice easy 12 min drive into the centre of Dunedin. We stayed in summer and it was very warm. The beds upstairs were cozy but comfortable. There is no cellphones reception but even the kids found this quite nice and left them with time to chill out and unwind. we will definitely look to stay here again next time we are in Dunedin. It was like a real life Snow Whites cottage.

this is the most amazing place to stay, close drive to town, the place has all the amenities you need and heaps of adorable little touches! the hosts are delightful and so ready to help! we felt right at home and will definitely be back!
