Vacation rentals with beach access in Central Otago

Good spot, worked well for our trip

Lots of space in the place. Quiet side of town. We had some lovely walks from the place. The scones Edgewater were amazing! Wanaka is a beautiful town.

Great place for our short stay. Accomodations were clean and comfortable in a perfect location with everything you need a short walk away. Would happily stay here again.

Probably our favourite Airbnb ever. It ticks all the boxes. It has a perfect location: outside the town but walkable to town in about 25 minutes on the lakeside Queenstown Track, and it’s on the slope below the main road into town, so you don’t see or hear the traffic. It has a gorgeous view of the lake and mountains that you could look at for hours. It has comfortable beds. It has a fully equipped kitchen, with helpful labels on the cupboards and drawers so you’re not constantly trying to remember where things are. It’s easy to get in, with access by code so you don’t have to worry about keys or cards. It has convenient parking. It has good bikes that you can take out - we rode to the Kelvin Peninsula on the other side of the bay. There’s lots of room to spread out. The host’s representative replied right away when we had questions. It’s not cheap but it is so worth it.

The place is close to Queenstown airport, restaurants and easily accessible. It's just few steps away from the famous Boatshed restaurant of the Queenstown. It's a good place to stay with family The host is responsive and cooperative. During the stay , had some issues with the sink The host fixed it immediately in the middle of Easter holiday. Will stay again.

My husband and I enjoyed the view so much that we would be happy to sit in the apt all day and watch the planes fly past. The place was extremely spacious and we felt very comfortable. The shower pressure was good and the bed was comfy. The kitchen was large with a huge counter and I appreciated the dishwasher. However, the furniture, kitchen utensils and crockery were old and dated. Overall, I enjoyed the stay.

We had the most incredible stay at Victoria’s space! The smell from the fresh florals was such a unique and wonderful touch. The space was designed so well and the views of the mountains and the lake are just breath taking. It’s across the street from the most incredible restaurant that Victoria suggested (The Sherwood) and we ended up going back 2 nights in a row to try everything on the menu. The proximity from town is great, you can walk if you are feeling like some exercise or it’s a quick 5 min drive/ uber. We also enjoyed an afternoon swimming off the dock in the refreshing waters of the lake. I cannot recommend this stay enough!

Wow what an awesome place to stay! Beautiful house tastefully decorated with everything you could want. Loved all the special features of this place such as a great outdoor fire, so close to beautiful beach, spacious house, beautiful flooring, such comfortable beds, etc. Our family group loved our stay at The Cook's House!

Wow! What a place! The moment we arrived we felt relaxed and calm, the combination of the sound of the river flowing, the snow on the mountain peaks, the green grass and unbelievable views immediately calmed the soul. We loved the hot tub overlooking the mountains and the steam sauna just outside of the house. The house is spacious, the linen is sooo comfortable, it has everything you could want and more. we have traveled all over the world and Rebecca and Graeme’s Airbnb is right up there with one of the best we have stayed. Thank you SO MUCH for hosting us, we can’t wait to visit again next year.

We had an incredible stay at this Lake View Airbnb in Queenstown! The property is modern, stylish, and immaculately clean — every detail feels thoughtfully designed. Waking up to panoramic views of Lake Wakatipu and the surrounding mountains was truly unforgettable. The kitchen was fully equipped, the beds were super comfortable, and the living space had a cozy yet upscale vibe — perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. It’s also conveniently located, just a short drive from the town center, but quiet enough to feel like a peaceful retreat. Check-in was seamless, and the hosts were responsive and helpful throughout. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a luxurious and scenic stay in Queenstown!

We loved this home and community so much we extended our stay! Although attached to main home, they’ve designed for privacy and have really made a sanctuary for their guests. A+.

This house is beautifully decorated and very well stocked. The backyard is very private and offers beautiful views of the mountains. It’s about a 15 minute walk to town. While there weren’t any screens on any of the windows or doors, we were not bitten by any bugs.

It’s a bigger house than we see the photo s, it’s really clean, well facilitated. It’s close to wanaka town center and quiet, private. Strongly recommend

We absolutely love staying at Tanya‘s house. Salt Manor is a unique historic home with great charm and beauty. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the linens and blankets were excellent. We particularly liked the kitchen and the living room, the large windows and most of all, the location. It is so close to Saint Clair Beach so we could walk down to the ocean, walk on the magnificent beach and watch the surfers. We enjoyed several of the great restaurants within walking distance of the house. Tanya was an exceptional host, always so responsive and friendly and gave us great recommendations. We were sad to leave and if we are ever in this area again we would not hesitate to stay at Tanya‘s.

We loved our stay at The Prospector - it was top notch in terms of appearance and amenities, and with wonderful welcoming touches. We really appreciated the privacy and peacefulness and all the care that has gone into creating a wonderful experience for guests. Carolyn was fantastic to deal with and we would definitely recommend this as a must-stay location in Clyde!

On the sunny side of Queenstown and away from the business of the CBD, Brigit’s place was the perfect spot to get out and explore Queenstown and surrounding areas. It was also a neat and tidy place that came with all the essentials, a gorgeous walking track nearby and a super friendly and helpful host to make for a very enjoyable stay in Queenstown .

Exactly what we needed for short stay in Queenstown. Great location walking to everything. Host is amazing and extremely responsive! Couldn’t have been better.
