A sun lounger with a blue and white striped towel faces an inviting stretch of beach. A book lies open on the lounger, while soft, sandy shores lead to a calm turquoise sea. Gentle waves lap against the shore under a bright blue sky with scattered clouds.

Great place to stay, you can access to the bay to do snorkelling at the end of the street, 20min walk to akumal beach and there are some restaurants close by. Everything was pretty clean and Anthony was pretty responsive. I would like to be back for sure!

Jacuzzi, pool, & bikes - Perfect for a vacation!

TeresaRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We rented the main house and both casitas for a family vacation and couldn’t have asked for a better house. It offered the right amount of privacy and shared space. The house is on the far end of North Akumal, so having bikes to get into the village was great. Easy walk to Yal-Ku and paths to the rocky beaches.

jungle property for large groups w/pool & jacuzi

Everything was excellent thanks to Boris, especially Don Felipe, who was very friendly and helpful, attentive to every detail. I recommend it 💯
A large circular pool is surrounded by lush tropical greenery and palm trees. A thatched-roof palapa is visible nearby, housing a dining area with seating. Sunlight filters through the leaves, casting a soft glow across the vibrant landscape.

Luxury Villa with amazing snorkel and Jungle Gym

CarolynRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Our group of 15 had a wonderful stay at Casa Caleta! We had 8 children ages 3-12 with us, so we spent most of our time on the grounds. The pool, cenotes, and lagoon gave us plenty to explore. The housekeepers, Isidro, Israel, and Leo clearly care about the place and have managed it for over 20 years! The food was delicious and they were very accommodating. I highly recommend stocking the place with groceries and having Isidro and Isreal cook a few dinners. The breakfast service is excellent. As busy parents, we really appreciated waking up to a clean kitchen and having breakfast prepared and served on that beautiful patio. Like many other reviewers, we were under the impression at first that the house had walkable access to Half Moon Bay and Akumal town. For the protection of the lagoon and Yalku park, it does not. Transportation for a large group was expensive, but easy to arrange. We felt it was worth it to have access to such expansive, beautiful grounds. We hope to return!

THE PARADISE IN AKUMAL

AllisonRating, 5 stars3 months ago
My family had a great time staying at Casa Aurora. Communication with our host was easy and Gerardo and Selene took excellent care of us during our stay, preparing breakfast from food we purchased, as well as local dishes upon request (after providing us with detailed shopping lists), and keeping everything on the beautiful property tidy. The house is beautifully decorated and comfortable. We enjoyed swimming in the pool, snorkeling in the lagoon right in front of the house, and relaxing a lot. We loved the sound of the waves crashing and view of the sea and sunrise (3 of the 4 bedrooms, the kitchen, living room and terraces face the water). We ate at great local restaurants, saw Mayan ruins, swam in cenotes and explored the lovely Riviera Maya. We would happily stay at Casa Aurora in Akumal again!

The living area features a comfortable sofa facing a large wall-mounted television. Natural light streams through triangular windows, illuminating the wooden floors. A wooden coffee table sits atop an area rug, with views of the terrace and garden visible through glass doors.

We would give Luis and his Casa Madera 10 stars, if we could. We had a wonderful stay, the house is even more beautiful than in the photos (and surprisingly big in reality). Every detail is thought through and perfect. Luis is a great, great host, so nice and helpful and warm and hospitable. Perfect all around, we‘d come back anytime!

A pathway made of stones leads from the condo to the ocean. Lounge chairs are positioned on both sides of the path under bright blue skies. Lush green palm fronds provide shade, framing the view of clear waters and scattered clouds in the sky.

Amazing View Oceanfront, Daily Housekeeping

There are no words for how lovely our stay at Stacy’s condo in La Iguana were. We read the glowing reviews but remained doubtful- how nice can a condo be? We were SO proven wrong. The condo was sparkling clean, gorgeous, comfortable. Highlights were being able to see the beach from bed- with the bedroom floor to ceiling windows open- and being able to laze on the private beach in the shade. Snorkeling right in front of the condo was excellent, as well as snorkeling at yal ku a short walk away. We will be back!!
