Stunning 1 Bedroom home in Elie

DarrenRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We walked in the property in awe..!! What an amazing place “house on the hill” is. My wife and I couldn’t stop looking out at the view even at night time when it was dark. Under floor heating and a log fire certainly keeps you cozy throughout your stay. We had a bath on both nights together and we could sit side by side it’s that big and take in the view of the stars and planets. That was a first for both of us..!!! The bed is that comfy my wife had decided we need one exactly like it and the same size, which I’ve agreed too. We took in a day in Elie, Pitwimmen, St Monans & Anstruther. We had breakfast at the Pavillion and meal at Ship Inn. Both places were lovely and great food. We haven’t had the luxury like this before so we are going to book again for next year. Thanks Darren & Claudia.

Pretty 3 bedroom cottage set in lovely gardens

MabelRating, 5 stars3 days ago
We loved our stay at Madeira house. There was 8 adults in total and one dog and there was plenty of space. All the beds were big and comfortable, and the sofa bed was very spacious and comfortable too! The kitchen was very well equipped and the bbq and hot tub was a great bonus! The location was very peaceful and there was a great pub in Pittenweem for food called the West end - I would recommend! Overall a great stay, thank you!

We had an absolutely lovely time at Ali's place. Spacious, clean and very comfortable. Hot tub and garnden really make the place with stunning views. Easy access to Edinburgh by train and car and also the Fife coastal path. We loved it! would be very happy to return again one day. Ali was the perfect host.

Traditional detached country cottage.

RuthRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We rented Ladywell Lodge with the Doocot for a large family holiday. Though the cottage is up in the hills, it was very quick to get to major routes. The lodge was perfect for the two couples who stayed there. It is tucked away in its own large outdoor space with woods and hill walks just moments away. It was comfortable and clean with everything as described. The kitchen was well laid out and the sitting room really cosy. The hosts were great too - Sandra is really responsive and we found the flexible check in really good. It was perfect for our family and being able to pair renting this with the Doocot meant we had a brilliant space for lots of people to stay. My husband and I would love to go back and would happily rent the lodge again as it was so comfortable in a beautiful setting. Highly recommend.

Weaver’s Cottage beach getaway

SandraRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Lovely one night stay at Weavers Cottage. Stay was exactly as described and it being right on the beach was great for us as we visited with our dog, who enjoyed the early morning walk in particular. Peaceful location and all amenities as described. Nice touch that we had milk from Caron for a brew when we arrived. Good instructions were given from Caron and the cottage was lovely, warm and cosy inside. Should we ever be in that neck of the woods we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Thank you for stay, even though it was brief. Sandra, Steve and Ted

This relaxing, comfortable, and peaceful place was just what weary travelers needed! Natalie was warm and welcoming, and the apartment was super conveniently located in the village. We enjoyed eating at the Crail Harbor Gallery, wandering the village and seaside, and then coming home to sit by the wood stove.

The Cupboard | Elie

JeanRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We were in Elie for 2 nights and the Cupboard was great for a short stay as we ate out both nights. Although exceptionally well equipped for such a short space it would have been difficult to cook. due to the lack of workspace. The design of the space is exceptional for the size of the space and the wood burner kept us lovely and cosy. There are 5 beds all together but it would have been a challenge having more than the 2 of us and our wee dog. We love Elie and will be back and it's very likely that we will use Short Stay St Andrews again.

Sma'Gift........ a 1700's seafront cottage.

ChristianeRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a wonderful sunny week in Fife walking the coastal path and returning by bus - nearly no car needed. Lovely cottage with a sun facing seaside road side table to have breakfast or cocktails or both while enjoying views across the Firth of Forth over to Bass rock. Watching gannets diving for and the local heron stalking fish and eider ducks paddling about was a favourite afternoon past time. Nice wee flexible cottage.

Idylic Seaside Cottage In The North Of Edinburgh

AoifeRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We had a wonderful stay in Cramond! As mentioned, the planes can be quite noisy but the hosts kindly left ear plugs which was very useful! The accommodation is stunning - the photos don’t do it justice! The beds were extremely comfortable and the shower was lovely. The kitchen was well equipped. Cramond itself is absolutely incredible - we had a gorgeous walk over to the island and my 4 year old enjoyed scooting along the sea front. We had a lovely time playing board games in the Cramond Inn too. The house is super-handy for visiting Edinburgh city and the surrounds. I couldn’t recommend it more :)

No3 Rose Street - be our guest

VictoriaRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Rona and Bryan are absolutely brilliant hosts and their place was perfect. They communicated brilliantly and clearly and they were very responsive. We loved the enclosed garden so we could let our dog wander around outside safely, and the house was cosy and well-located. Rona and Bryan were such thoughtful hosts. They’ve clearly really thought about what guests need and have added little details to make the stay easier. They were fantastic and we’d definitely stay with them again.

Jura Cottage | Peat Inn

Spent a lovely couple of days at the cottage with our family - myself , husband and 2 children ages 7 and 11 over the Easter holidays . The place was fantastic , furnished to a high standard , clean and had everything we needed for a cosy stay. Rooms were much larger than we anticipated with very comfy beds - We loved the wood burn stove to sit round at night and appreciated all the little touches likes tea, coffee etc and selection of books and games. Host was in touch prior to the stay and the whole booking was seamless and helpful. Only thing we felt could be improved was the shower - the water pressure was very low. A wonderful stay - we would Stay again and recommend to others a great central base for exploring St Andrews and the costal side of Fife with everything within 10-15 min drive .

Delightful Country Cottage

RaquelRating, 5 stars7 months ago
We (2 adults + toddler) had a lovely stay at Lilac Cottage in August '24. The place was even better than what you see in the photos - spacious and incredibly well appointed. We loved the cosy living room and the new kitchen! The location couldn't be more perfect if you are looking to stay at a peaceful, picturesque corner of the Scottish countryside. It is a quiet place but there's still plenty to do in the sorrounding areas. Diane was super responsive and friendly, always at hand for any questions and recommendations.

Garden Cottage in the heart of Crail. Sleeps 8.

ArleneRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Cottage is in a great location with easy walk to town centre, swingpark and harbour. Kitchen/sitting area is great for having everyone in one area and the garden is lovely. The cottage was well stocked with everything you could need from kitchen equipment and outdoor items including badminton rackets and football (oh and a wee dog bed I found in hall cupboard). Beds were comfy and the rooms had great blackout blinds (which are sometimes lacking in other places). Would definitely use again and recommend to families.

Parkview Cottage -Lovely home with cosy fireplace

JenRating, 5 stars6 months ago
We had a lovely few nights in Ashley and Neil's place. The cottage was more than enough for two people and a small dog, on a peaceful stretch of street opposite a park with lots of mature trees. The hosts were very responsive and helpful, and I really appreciated how quickly they replied to messages. The house was clean and tidy, and had all that we needed for our stay. My only disappointment was that we couldn't use the fireplace (listing a 'fireguard' as an amenity alongside the pictures suggested to me that it was an option), but that said, the house was comfy and warm, so we still enjoyed a few cosy quiet evenings. Our Carnoustie days were spent visiting nearby cafe Gather for lunch (v happy to see vegan options), a walk along the breezy beach and some beers in the Station Hotel bar – then spending the evening at the cottage. Thanks for having us. :)
