Recently remodeled Belizean Colonial Style home. Clean and well lighted spaces. Located about 5 minutes walking distance from commercial downtown area. The Moroton area of San Ignacio is a mix between commercial and residential area. We are a very progressive bunch, and welcoming to everyone. We accept all guests. The home sits beside St. Andrews Anglican School and is an extremely safe area, excellent for a family or couple who wants to walk around town.

The space was rustic but clean and had everything we needed. The bed was quite comfortable. Richard is very responsive, and his dad Peter was very friendly and helpful. We regretted having to leave early due to Tropical Storm Sara because we had wanted to hike around a bit, but we did get to see some of the smaller crocs that live in the pond!

Our first trip to Santa Elena was great and Jaime was an incredible host. The house is in a wonderful neighborhood, safe with a great restaurant nearby. Our dogs loved the yard, and we spent a lot of time relaxing on the porch. Jamie gave us many recommendations for local spots to eat and drink and activities to do in the area. He gave us a tour of the twin towns. Jamie was very responsive and communication was easy. The house was comfortable and clean with all the essential amenities. We are looking forward to going back soon. Highly recommend.

Luis is an excellent host, and the communication is great. Whenever I had a question or needed assistance, he was happy to help. Luis' place is ideal for a couple or a single person, both for shorter and longer stays. The property is located in a quiet area, but supermarkets and other stores are just a short walk away. Getting to Downtown San Ignacio only takes a 10-minute walk. Wifi and AC are working excellently, and the place has everything you need. I have felt very comfortable and safe here. I highly recommend staying with Luis.

Our stay at Santa Cruz Cabins was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we arrived, Juliet and Tony made us feel right at home. One of the highlights of our trip was the morning breakfast conversations with Juliet and Tony. Their insights into Belizean culture were fascinating, and the breakfasts themselves were delicious! We looked forward to these conversations every morning. Juliet and Tony's recommendations for local food and activities were spot on. We truly got to experience the best of the area thanks to their guidance. Whether it was dining at a local gem or exploring hidden spots, every suggestion added to our unforgettable experience. Margaret was a wonderful host who was highly responsive. The home was as described and was the perfect place for us to shelter during the hurricane Beryl scare since it's solidly built and at the very top of a hill. All amenities were available, including a washer. Minor issue with my allergies playing up due to dust, but washing the curtains and running the a/c resolved that quickly. Overall, very good location and I'd stay there again.

Our stay was a dream. The pictures don’t do this place justice. It is incredibly beautiful and peaceful and so fun to have two pups around while we were away from ours. The space is well thought out and the hosts provide an immense amount of information to make a trip to the Cayo area easy and fun. I’d recommend staying here to anyone and hope we get to return!
