Monthly Rentals in Cave City

Place was a close and convenient drive to mammoth cave national park and other attractions. House was very clean and attractive. Decor was comfortable and cozy. Kitchen was well stocked. Everything was easy to find and use. Host was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Loved that I could bring my dogs. They were very at ease staying with us. Large unfenced back yard to walk the dogs. Only drawback was that the house is very close to a road that’s a bit noisy.

This was such a cute place to stay for our visit to Mammoth Cave. There was an amazing pizza place within walking distance (0.1 miles) as well as a coffee shop. It was only an 18 minute drive to the visitor center and this part of Cave City was so much cuter than just south with more hotels. We struggled with the shower the first night- there’s a position between scolding hot and normal where the water pressure drops and we incorrectly thought that was where the water stopped, but if you go just past that the pressure builds and you get a normal shower. Just something for others to pay attention to in order to avoid our mistakes. My one critique would be there’s no window covering in the shower window. It’s pretty blocked by trees but you could see into the neighbors yard so if someone was standing in just the right spot they could see you showering. I would just check outside before showing and it was fine.

Very nice home, it is as described and pictured. Close to town, but out enough to escape the town traffic. The kids and I enjoyed our stay!
