Very nice stay. Airbnb was clean and neat overall. Loved the late nights at the fire pit definitely would stay again in the future. Loved the 20-30 min drive to most local attractions and Mammoth Cave National Park. Only complaint are the mattresses are VERY firm other than that definitely would recommend.

I cannot say enough good things about this beautiful home. Me and my family had the absolute best time! Literally the best hosts we could ever ask for. Definitely will be recommending this place to ANYBODY and EVERYBODY who mentions this town. And definitely will be back! 10 outta 10 from me and my whole crew. Thank you so much for everything again Brad and Ms. Kim! 💙

Excellent communication from the host! The house was clean and comfortable. The host has provided lots of thoughtful details such as charging cables, cozy throw blankets, and labels on the light switches. Nearest grocery stores are 25-30 minutes away, so stock up on provisions before you get there.

Rough River Oasis: Close to Lake - Deck - Fire Pit

TonyaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Sarah’s place was exactly as described. My favorite part was the coffee bar! I love my coffee! Everything was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. Sarah was very quick to respond with any questions I had. We had a great time celebrating my husband’s 40th! We went and played disk golf, mini golf, and ate at porgies. It was a great relaxing time! This is a great location for a quiet and relaxing getaway.

Cavern

OliviaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This was a great place to stay while visiting Mammoth Cave NP with my dog. I will say the kitchen smelled a bit like cigarettes when walking in, but the rest of the house was pristine. Especially the very clean shower which was super appreciated. The backyard was fantastic. The house is pretty close to the road and near the highway so it was loud, but that's the tradeoff of the convenient location. Overall, great stay!

In a word… FANTASTIC! 5++ Stars. Staying in Matt’s Tree House exceeded our expectations. In addition to what other reviews have noted, I will add the craftsmanship, in every detail of the Tree House, is exceptional! I enjoyed seeing this quality work. Layout, functionality, quality, tastefully decorated, and so many extras. Enjoyed the campfire ring one night as well. Highly recommended!!

Magnolia Pines Farmhouse in quiet country setting

LauraRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Sandi was very communicative and friendly. The farmhouse was lovely, peaceful, and private. It had everything we needed and was close enough to everything we wanted to do without being in the middle of a busy town. I would highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a quiet retreat on their next adventure. Thank you, Charlie and Sandi, for your hospitality and the use of your fabulous property!

Mammoth Cave Getaway

MaryRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
So close outside the NP, 2 min to the boarder ~7 min to the tours and visitor center, also close to restaurants ect. Nicely updated, nice outdoor space. There was a farm across the street with ginny hens and cows. Dog friendly but did not want the dogs on the beds or furniture (not sure if the description wrote this or not but I didn't catch it if they did. This was clear on check in descriptions.
A clean bathroom sink is shown with a polished faucet and a circular drain, enhancing functionality. Above the sink, a chrome wire basket holds labeled containers for shower gel, shampoo, and hand soap, providing organized access to essential toiletries.

I absolutely loved this place and the neighbors were awesome. They have long term units and tempted to apply for one of them. Loved the location central to hiking in mammoth cave area or heading to bowling green or Elizabethtown.

Quiet horse farm with pool, hot tub and more!

JoeRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Beautiful property. Very clean. We couldn't find a quick all to the lake that was described. It was a little awkward having people right upstairs but we adjusted. But it did keep us from using the pool. The place did have a very musty smell but we made a quick trip to dollar general and got some air freshener and a candle and it was fine.
A wooden deck at night is featured, illuminated by subtle lighting. Two dark-colored adirondack chairs are positioned for relaxation, accompanied by a small table that holds various items. The surrounding area includes trees, creating a secluded atmosphere.

Lil’ Hole in the Holler

JamesRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This place was exactly as described, very private and peaceful. The outdoor lighting comes on automatically and creates the perfect ambiance. The firepit was perfect and plenty of fallen sticks and larger pieces of firewood available. I brought my own firestarters with me, so it was easy to get a fire going. The bathroom being in a separate building wasn't as annoying as I thought it might be, and the water pressure and temperature were good. What inconvenience did exist was made up for by other nice touches. The coffee maker and coffee in the main building was a big plus, as well as the bottled water. The AC kept the place nice and cool, and the fans helped circulate the air. Very convenient to the Mammoth Cave tours, shopping and restaurants in Cave City and Horse Cave.

Redbird Cabin Hideaway was a very relaxing cottage. We were all very comfortable and the spacious outdoor areas were all filled with different pieces of nature and activities. Justin was responsive with information and clear concise instructions. We highly recommend this cabin and serene getaway for and couples or family vacation. The from porch, cabin, hot tub, fire pit, firewood, playground, the outdoor perch at the top of the hill. Extraordinary.

Lakefront Treehouse Cabin!

KathleenRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We had a lovely stay at the Treehouse. Plenty of room for our family of 5. My kids, aged 10-14, loved it (shrieks of delight would be an accurate description of their first impression). The kitchen is small but functional, we made breakfast and dinner there every day. The lack of a TV was a bonus, as we played games and put together puzzles for fun. Kids enjoyed exploring the property down to the lake. A couple of notes: we visited in June 2025 after the historic spring flooding. Presumably related to this, part of the dock was underwater, so we could not easily access the lake from the property. We planned to visit Nolan state park beach, an easy 10-15 min drive away, but that was also closed because of flood damage “at least until mid July 2025, and maybe the entire season.” Just to be aware, since my kids were disappointed not to be able to swim in the lake. Easy access to Mammoth Cave Natl Park. Charcoal grill and nice fire pit on site.
