Beachfront vacation rentals in Castro

Thanks so much to Yvan for hosting us and for the quality of his place. We had a wonderful stay for the Easter weekend at his place. We highly recommend this listing, which is in a very good location (close to the beach and restaurants).

We stayed at Lorenzo's place in October and the four of us felt very comfortable. The amenities were very good, the area quiet, everyone had a retreat and you could sit in the sun or in the shade and jump right into the sea. The location is simply fantastic: a cappuccino on the terrace in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening overlooking the sunset:-)

The place and the surrounding area are beautiful. Guiseppe was really great with a flexible check in as we had delays with our rental car. We lost warm water during our stay, but not a big deal as Guiseppe was very responsive and helped sort it out really fast. Can recommend with flying colours.

My husband, my husband, and my daughters stayed at Giuseppe's property for about ten days! The house is wonderful, clean, adequate spaces, great sea view, full of very nice and beautiful objects!!! The kitchen and bathroom were clean and equipped with every tool (e.g. hairdryer, coffee maker, dishes, pots, etc.)! The rooms are also very clean and with soft sheets!! The terrace is wonderful! Spacious, sea view, equipped with table, chairs and deckchairs, water access and linen rack! Highly recommended

Georgio was a great host. He was friendly, helpful, informative and made us feel right at home. Good location for exploring the area with lovely views over the water.

We were positively surprised! Very cosy and clean. They figured out the smallest details. Marta and Stefano are very warm and friendly persons. It was a very nice stay!

It was really perfect. The apartment looks the same as in the photo, just a dream. Luciano was a very accommodating and friendly host who provided us with numerous tips and was always available. We would book his apartment again anytime and fully recommend it. Some plus points: -Very high rooms for a unique indoor climate -Acondition - Bathroom with window to ventilate - Very bright -Super location - central yet quiet - Very clean - Free parking in the surrounding alleys - Inside as new -Coffee machine, washing machine, clothes rack, gas stove, large fridge with freezer compartment, plenty of dishes and cooking utensils ...everything you need is there! It's a beautiful place to relax! Nido del Salento impressed us with its loving decor, cleanliness and quiet location. Particularly nice was the lovingly prepared welcome basket – with plenty of treats for the first dinner and a cozy breakfast: including a carafe of delicious regional wine, homemade jam and tomato sauce. You immediately feel at home and comfortable – not like a foreign guest, but like with friends. Elma and Vincenzo are wonderful hosts – warm, attentive and at the same time very respectful. Despite all the cordiality, our privacy was respected at all times. You had the feeling of having the entire property all to yourself – perfect for relaxing and enjoying the stay to the fullest. A wonderful base for exploring Salento. I would stay again any time!

Alessandro is the perfect host! We were overloaded with all kinds of attentions, not only on arrival, but throughout the stay. Nothing escapes his attention, and he would do the impossible to satisfy his guests. Recommend!

We spent a few days at the beginning of the season. The house has all the requirements for a relaxing holiday: - beautiful sea view - outdoor space with a small pool - BBQ area equipped for grilling. - Great location to get to the sea The property is impeccably maintained by the host, Paolo, who was always kind and helpful and made our stay comfortable with valuable advice and attention. We'll be back.

Set in peaceful countryside close to the sea, Villa Rosmarini is a wonderful place to stay and explore the Salento region. The villa is comfortable, well equipped and spacious for a couple or four people. From the roof terrace you can relax and watch the sun set over the sea. Stefania was a very helpful, friendly and responsive host. It's very close to Nardo, a pretty Baroque town with good shops and restaurants, and also close to Gallipoli (great for seafood). The local beach at Porto Selvaggio is a real treat. Would definitely stay again when we hopefully come back.

We had a perfect week in this little apartment. The views are fabulous, it is an easy and quick walk to the beautiful ocean, it is great to have the pool and it is a nice walk to Castro for great bars and lovely restaurants and an easy walk to Maritima for good coffee. We were really lucky to get the week of festivals that were fantastic. Definitely get up for sunrise over the sea - it is unforgettable.

We had a great stay and really enjoyed the fact that we could walk straight out of the villa and swim in the coves. There is an amazing beach bar (sometimes live music) opposite the house and within a short walk there are other restaurants and a mini market. Along the promenade there are lots of other eateries. We really couldn’t believe our luck! The Majah, north up the coastline was a great experience. There are no menus though, just local food cooked by a husband and wife team. Expensive but worth it! Also La Bracarie Beach, for when you have overdone the fish and fancy some bbq meat options, was amazing. You choose what you want from the butcher’s counter and they cook it for you! There really wasn’t enough time to explore all that the local area had to offer but we stumbled across some great beaches, took a boat trip and visited lots of amazing places. A book of “places to visit” would be a great asset to the property, so that other people could “enjoy” We had a great stay!

We very much enjoyed our time of visiting, all necessary items were provided and everything was as described even better. Maria's family is excellent host! Definitely recommended!

the house as described is just a few meters from the beaches and the free beach in a week I never needed to take the car to get around .Paola was extremely helpful as I asked for a sufficiently morning checkout so I didn't come across traffic. Highly recommended

I'm giving 5 stars because aibnb won't let me give 10... perfect accommodation, complete with everything, like being at home, attention to the smallest details: cozy and impeccable cleanliness. Gianni is a perfect host, very kind and helpful. Honorable mention the outdoor shower, a real treat. We hope to return. Highly recommended!!

Sabrina and her family are available and very welcoming, it feels like staying at "home", the apartment and its spaces are perfect , (there were 4 of us) it also has a garage with parking space. Great location 1 minute to the rocky beach where you can snorkel or a 7-minute walk to the sandy beach where there is a beautiful sea. The beach is equipped with all the necessary services, for the most demanding, just 15 minutes by car there is Gallipoli where you can find anything. Everything is perfect. Highly recommended

Staying at Alessandro’s was perfect for our vacation. It is very peaceful and quiet, the terrasse and private access to the sea were worth ot already. Also it‘s a great location to explore the region from a less touristic starting point. Would have chosen this airbnb again! Alessandro and his father were always there for help, super friendly and the place was more spacious than it looked. Can highly recommend - thank you for everything!

The place exactly matches the description, we had a great time, the place is a fairytale! Highly recommended for a vacation where you can enjoy an amazing sea, a perfect starting point to discover the wonders of Salento. We have personally only visited beaches nearby within a maximum of 20-30 minutes by car, all beautiful, plus of course the one below the house where we went every day. The square next to it is also beautiful, at sunset pure poetry.

Valentino's place in the immediate vicinity of Baia Verde beach corresponded to the photos and description. The beautiful beach is 2 minutes' walk, there were various shopping opportunities in the area. Gallipoli is only 10-15 minutes away by car. The summer season/ disco opening just started during our stay and there was a lot going on on the weekend, but there was no nightlife in the house. Valentino and Teresa were quick and helpful to answer any questions. Check in and check out was quick and smooth. Everything was clean and tidy. We loved our stay, we enjoyed our summer holidays and can only recommend Valentino's place.

This place is stunning! We sat on the terrace and enjoyed the view all day. We did a grocery shop prior to arriving, cooked/bbq’d without issue (plenty of cooking utensils/dishes), and ate al fresco when the weather permitted. We did laundry and everything air-dried quickly in the sun and breeze. Did a beautiful coastal drive. Loved everything about this place. Assunta gave great recommendations, met us to review everything, and was very responsive to the few questions we had. The bed was super comfy too. Oh and did I mention THE VIEW? Tons of storage to keep the bedroom uncluttered. Assunta provided snacks (loved the cookies), rusks, taralli, and a bottle of wine too! We would love to return year after year! It’s a WOW!
