Staying with your feet in the water. If you like to sleep with the sound of waves, go for a swim in the morning a stone's throw away and come back for breakfast on a great terrace with sea views… this is the right place. Close to Gallipoli (by car) and not far from Lecce either. Mid-May is a bit dead, of course, but it suited us just fine and we had no problem finding restaurants and grocery stores. Francesco's house is not only charming, but very practical. All is well thought out. We didn't have the pleasure of meeting Francesco, but he responded very quickly to our many messages 😉

We had a great time at Antonio's place. This is the quintessential holiday home! A great sea view, a terrace and a very nice house. We immediately felt good there. Antonio welcomed us perfectly and was very available. We'll be happy to go back.

It was unique. We enjoyed the seclusion very much. Fortunately, we were the only ones. Francesco was always available and Daniela always came by when we needed her. Everything was sparkling clean.

This place is stunning! We sat on the terrace and enjoyed the view all day. We did a grocery shop prior to arriving, cooked/bbq’d without issue (plenty of cooking utensils/dishes), and ate al fresco when the weather permitted. We did laundry and everything air-dried quickly in the sun and breeze. Did a beautiful coastal drive. Loved everything about this place. Assunta gave great recommendations, met us to review everything, and was very responsive to the few questions we had. The bed was super comfy too. Oh and did I mention THE VIEW? Tons of storage to keep the bedroom uncluttered. Assunta provided snacks (loved the cookies), rusks, taralli, and a bottle of wine too! We would love to return year after year! It’s a WOW!

We stayed for 7 nights in the apartment of Carlijn and Francesco and felt very comfortable from the first moment. The communication was very easy and we received great tips for Castro and the region. Especially Anna (Francesco's mother) has made this stay special with her warm and loving nature. The apartment is very clean, equipped with everything you need and has a good atmosphere. The view from the roof terrace is beautiful, the way to the sea (less than 1 minute) is comfortable and the water clear and clean. Castro Marina is a charming place and a good starting point to explore the area. We had a wonderful time and would love to come back!

Beatrice’s place was fantastic for our 4 night stay; I wish we could have stayed longer. The view from the balcony is so wonderful, we loved sitting there drinking our coffee and having a drink in the evening and watching the light change. We could have stayed there the whole time, but we wanted to explore the coast and the old walled city as well. Everything was very comfortable and very clean and spacious. Communication with Beatrice was perfect; she always responded right away and her mother met us and showed us where to park. I really hope to return to this lovely place soon!

Angelo is one of the best hosts we've encountered. He responded promptly to all our questions before we arrived, picked us up and dropped us off at the train station. He had wine waiting for us at the house when we arrived. We miscalculated the availability of bus service in May, thinking we could bus from Casalabete to Brindisi to rent a car. Angelo anticipated our need and arranged a car rental for us. On the way out he even took a detour to show us some features of the area we asked about. The house is in a nice location, right over the dunes from the beach. The yard and pool are exceptionally nice, with plenty of outdoor seating areas in a private setting. The house is comfortable, but a bit dated inside, with a small kitchen (although it has lots of refrigerator and freezer space) and could use some better lighting. This is a really nice place for a beach vacation.

Donato the owner and Sergio who did check in were so friendly and helpful. Anything we needed that wasn’t in the house, they organised. Top spec throughout, perfect location for a 5 min drive to the beach, 10 min drive into town or a perfectly nice 40 min walk to the old town.

Absolutely exceptional stay – beyond all expectations! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Paolo was an outstanding host – warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay as perfect as possible. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly well taken care of. The villa itself is just amazing – full of character, thoughtfully equipped with everything you could possibly need, and spotlessly clean. But the real highlight? The view. Absolutely breathtaking. Photos don’t do it justice – it’s something you have to see with your own eyes. This place is a hidden gem, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. Thank you, Paolo, for everything – you’ve set the bar impossibly high!

We stayed in apartment 3 for 11 days, it is a clean apartment with lovely soft towels and super good beds. According to the site, it has a kitchenette, however it has a coffee and tea machine and fridge with freezer compartment. There is a large communal kitchen with a gas hob, dishwasher, large fridge freezer all you need is there. There is a large swimming pool with plenty of sunbeds and a place with lovely chairs in the shade. The accommodation is very quiet, wonderful if you like peace and quiet. Within 15 minutes you are at the beach or in a town. We had a great time at the Masseria La Noa and would definitely recommend it for other guests

We had an amazing stay at Francesca’s. We were in contact with Lukas who was extremely helpful, clear and friendly. At check in, Lukas met us and showed us around, he had many local recommendations for us. Throughout the stay he was super responsive and helpful. The first morning we woke up to fresh croissant and pasticciotti!! The house was beautiful, very spacious, full of light and extremely clean. There are many places to sit and many amenities like the pool, outside showers, hammocks and outside BBQ area. I cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you.

We enjoyed a great family holiday at the nice beach of punto Prosciutto (off season!). Angelo and his wife were very kind and super professional hosts. A new Airbnb experience was that Angelo asked us to sign a separate contract and comittment to the rules of the house. Although the list of rules and instructions is quite long its only common sense behavior and a respectful treatment of his property that he asks for. So, no problem to sign. And the result is a well maintained and clean experience for all his guests. Some information is not so clear from the general description of the house but every information is given in the rules for the stay on the airbnb page which you should devinetively read prior to the booking: e.g. for a family of 4 you have only access to 2 sleeping rooms and the use of the Pool comes with an aditional fee of 7.50€ per erson per day. we didnt use the Pool since I was not sure whether my kids (5&7) would easily follow the rules for it. We enjoyed the sea!

The apartment was very comfortably furnished. You felt more at home than in a vacation apartment. The amenities were also particularly good: dishwasher, washing machine, fly screens on all windows, fully equipped kitchen. In 5 minutes walk you are at the water and a few restaurants. In 20 minutes, you can walk to the old town with more restaurants. Maria Cristina was extremely nice, welcomed us personally and made our stay a pleasant one. For cars, there is a private parking space right at the apartment. The place is a clear recommendation! We'd book again:-)

We had a wonderful stay in Gallipoli. The apartment has everything you need for daily life and is very quiet. The roof terrace overlooking the sea is simply fantastic and you can quickly get to the old town on foot. Clear recommendation!

A beautiful place for a few days before our wedding! The terrace was so nice to relax in the afternoon. The place was close to the city center and easy to walk to restaurants and shops.

Our stay was pleasant. We enjoyed the surroundings. Close to Nardò, Gallipoli and Lecce. Lovely beaches in the area. The apartment was cosily furnished. Balcony is large and enjoyed the sunset every evening. Valeria and Paolo are welcoming and approachable.

This house and the garden are so perfect, charming, relaxing, comfortable, all the details are impressive, you will have everything you need. Giuseppe is very kind and welcoming. Thank you very much for all the gifts. I love my stay. The location is perfect to discover the Salento and Puglia in general. I will come back

Toni made this once in a lifetime experience amazing. He went above and beyond to answer the million questions we had, always making us feel welcome and always willing to help. Toni helped book our dinner reservations, show us around San Foca and literally helped plan a daily itinerary so we could see the heel of Italy to the best of our ability in the time we had. Toni also helped with our car rental, recommendations about where to stay on Almafi, and helped us book our hotel in Rome.
