Beachfront vacation rentals in Castro

Thanks so much to Yvan for hosting us and for the quality of his place. We had a wonderful stay for the Easter weekend at his place. We highly recommend this listing, which is in a very good location (close to the beach and restaurants).

We stayed at Lorenzo's place in October and the four of us felt very comfortable. The amenities were very good, the area quiet, everyone had a retreat and you could sit in the sun or in the shade and jump right into the sea. The location is simply fantastic: a cappuccino on the terrace in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening overlooking the sunset:-)

The place and the surrounding area are beautiful. Guiseppe was really great with a flexible check in as we had delays with our rental car. We lost warm water during our stay, but not a big deal as Guiseppe was very responsive and helped sort it out really fast. Can recommend with flying colours.

My husband, my husband, and my daughters stayed at Giuseppe's property for about ten days! The house is wonderful, clean, adequate spaces, great sea view, full of very nice and beautiful objects!!! The kitchen and bathroom were clean and equipped with every tool (e.g. hairdryer, coffee maker, dishes, pots, etc.)! The rooms are also very clean and with soft sheets!! The terrace is wonderful! Spacious, sea view, equipped with table, chairs and deckchairs, water access and linen rack! Highly recommended

We were positively surprised! Very cosy and clean. They figured out the smallest details. Marta and Stefano are very warm and friendly persons. It was a very nice stay!

It's a beautiful place to relax! Nido del Salento impressed us with its loving decor, cleanliness and quiet location. Particularly nice was the lovingly prepared welcome basket – with plenty of treats for the first dinner and a cozy breakfast: including a carafe of delicious regional wine, homemade jam and tomato sauce. You immediately feel at home and comfortable – not like a foreign guest, but like with friends. Elma and Vincenzo are wonderful hosts – warm, attentive and at the same time very respectful. Despite all the cordiality, our privacy was respected at all times. You had the feeling of having the entire property all to yourself – perfect for relaxing and enjoying the stay to the fullest. A wonderful base for exploring Salento. I would stay again any time!

We spent a few days at the beginning of the season. The house has all the requirements for a relaxing holiday: - beautiful sea view - outdoor space with a small pool - BBQ area equipped for grilling. - Great location to get to the sea The property is impeccably maintained by the host, Paolo, who was always kind and helpful and made our stay comfortable with valuable advice and attention. We'll be back.

We stayed in apartment 3 for 11 days, it is a clean apartment with lovely soft towels and super good beds. According to the site, it has a kitchenette, however it has a coffee and tea machine and fridge with freezer compartment. There is a large communal kitchen with a gas hob, dishwasher, large fridge freezer all you need is there. There is a large swimming pool with plenty of sunbeds and a place with lovely chairs in the shade. The accommodation is very quiet, wonderful if you like peace and quiet. Within 15 minutes you are at the beach or in a town. We had a great time at the Masseria La Noa and would definitely recommend it for other guests

Giuseppe's great house is beautifully situated on the hillside with other cottages and villas a short distance from many dream beaches. You can see the sea from the very large and wonderfully maintained property. The pool and also the house are larger than they appear in the photos, the view from the huge covered terrace is a dream. You can tell that the family appreciates and cares for the house themselves, everything is in good condition and very clean. The air conditioners in the bedrooms come up even against the midday heat without any problems. The property is surrounded by a small fruit and a larger olive grove. Communication with Giuseppe was great, fast and reliable. The beaches are beautiful, even in high season there was always space and also always enough parking. We have spent a great vacation here, so thank you very much, Giuseppe!

Set in peaceful countryside close to the sea, Villa Rosmarini is a wonderful place to stay and explore the Salento region. The villa is comfortable, well equipped and spacious for a couple or four people. From the roof terrace you can relax and watch the sun set over the sea. Stefania was a very helpful, friendly and responsive host. It's very close to Nardo, a pretty Baroque town with good shops and restaurants, and also close to Gallipoli (great for seafood). The local beach at Porto Selvaggio is a real treat. Would definitely stay again when we hopefully come back.

We had a perfect week in this little apartment. The views are fabulous, it is an easy and quick walk to the beautiful ocean, it is great to have the pool and it is a nice walk to Castro for great bars and lovely restaurants and an easy walk to Maritima for good coffee. We were really lucky to get the week of festivals that were fantastic. Definitely get up for sunrise over the sea - it is unforgettable.

We had a great stay and really enjoyed the fact that we could walk straight out of the villa and swim in the coves. There is an amazing beach bar (sometimes live music) opposite the house and within a short walk there are other restaurants and a mini market. Along the promenade there are lots of other eateries. We really couldn’t believe our luck! The Majah, north up the coastline was a great experience. There are no menus though, just local food cooked by a husband and wife team. Expensive but worth it! Also La Bracarie Beach, for when you have overdone the fish and fancy some bbq meat options, was amazing. You choose what you want from the butcher’s counter and they cook it for you! There really wasn’t enough time to explore all that the local area had to offer but we stumbled across some great beaches, took a boat trip and visited lots of amazing places. A book of “places to visit” would be a great asset to the property, so that other people could “enjoy” We had a great stay!

Although we arrived late, check-in was completely hassle-free - as was check-out. Giovanni was always available and responded quickly and always found a good solution when we had questions. We felt very comfortable, the apartment has a fully equipped kitchen and a huge terrace with sea views where we could enjoy our breakfast. The mattress in the bedroom was impeccable, so we could sleep well. The apartment is centrally located yet quietly in a side street - you can quickly walk to the city and the sea. Giovanni and his wife Francesca are very friendly and helpful hosts. We can recommend the apartment 100%

I stayed in this beautiful home for the Christmas holidays with my family. Large and very welcoming rooms, the house is furnished with style and elegance, nothing was missing in the kitchen. The outdoor spaces are very well maintained. Mrs. Lorella is a fantastic person who welcomed us warmly and pampered us in the true sense of the word by providing us with Christmas decorations, a welcome basket, bringing us delicious hot pastries the morning after our arrival and on Christmas morning typical sweets made by her, the purcedduzzi. I sincerely thank Mrs. Lorella and her husband for everything!

the house as described is just a few meters from the beaches and the free beach in a week I never needed to take the car to get around .Paola was extremely helpful as I asked for a sufficiently morning checkout so I didn't come across traffic. Highly recommended

Sabrina and her family are available and very welcoming, it feels like staying at "home", the apartment and its spaces are perfect , (there were 4 of us) it also has a garage with parking space. Great location 1 minute to the rocky beach where you can snorkel or a 7-minute walk to the sandy beach where there is a beautiful sea. The beach is equipped with all the necessary services, for the most demanding, just 15 minutes by car there is Gallipoli where you can find anything. Everything is perfect. Highly recommended

From the moment we arrived, we were genuinely impressed with the breathtaking views that greeted us. The location was perfect—situated near the heart of the city, it allowed us to easily explore the vibrant local culture and stunning beaches. We had a nice vacation. Maria's house has all the features described in the listing. I would like to point out in particular what we appreciated: proximity to the beautiful beach of Torre Lapillo (reachable in 1 minute on foot), possibility of internal parking of the car, presence of air conditioners, width of the house, large terrace where you can eat (we have never had lunch/dinner inside), also presence of an outdoor shower. The house is a little outside the center of Torre Lapillo (about 1 km), the beach is also very busy in that stretch, so the street is always full of cars by day, which sometimes makes it difficult to maneuver in/out if your car is large. We did not meet Mrs. Maria in person, but she was very kind and followed us and contacted us remotely, with many attention and many tips. We were welcomed by a person he trusted on site, who in any case was available for any need. We recommend this holiday house in Salento, of course in high season you will find a lot of people (as everywhere). If we come back here, we'll keep it in mind because it's very comfortable.

This place is stunning! We sat on the terrace and enjoyed the view all day. We did a grocery shop prior to arriving, cooked/bbq’d without issue (plenty of cooking utensils/dishes), and ate al fresco when the weather permitted. We did laundry and everything air-dried quickly in the sun and breeze. Did a beautiful coastal drive. Loved everything about this place. Assunta gave great recommendations, met us to review everything, and was very responsive to the few questions we had. The bed was super comfy too. Oh and did I mention THE VIEW? Tons of storage to keep the bedroom uncluttered. Assunta provided snacks (loved the cookies), rusks, taralli, and a bottle of wine too! We would love to return year after year! It’s a WOW!

We were guests of Benedetto and Piero in Torre Pali, and we can only praise every aspect of our stay. The location is perfect: a few meters from the sea, quiet location, close to a convenient convenience store. If you don't want to take the car, there are two restaurants, ice cream parlors, bars and pastry shops within walking distance. The village is small and quiet, ideal for us. The apartment is spacious and well furnished and above all very well equipped, nothing is missing. In the courtyard there is a comfortable table where we had dinner often taking advantage of the pleasant evening breeze, away from the humidity left in Romagna. The cleanliness was impeccable, the owners were very kind and helpful. We especially appreciated the tranquility of the area. Torre Pali is a small paradise, away from the hustle and bustle of the cities, but with everything we needed at your fingertips. Benedetto and Piero's house, therefore, is the ideal place for a relaxing vacation.
