With views of Peveril Castle the patio is a fantastic place to relax with a book, or simply watch the world go by. With own driveway (1 car) and shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants all located within a short walk, this is a great base from which to explore the Peaks.

Bridge Cottage, Castleton in the Peak District

Bridge Cottage is a stone built cottage situated a few metres from the Peakshole Water in the delightful village of Castleton, and is just a short walk to the centre of the village with many local pubs and shops. Centrally located in a beautiful part of the Peak District National Park, this is an ideal location for exploring on foot with lovely walks from the doorstep, riding a bike through the many quiet lanes and footpaths of the area, or visiting the show caves situated near the cottage.

Set in a beautiful Grade II listed courtyard, Shippon Cottage re-opened in March 2024 after an extensive refurbishment.. Shippon Cottage, at Spring House Farm, is a 15 minute walk to Castleton. Set on Lose Hill, in the Peak District National Park, this dog friendly cottage is ideal for exploring the area with Mam Tor, literally, on the doorstep.

Torside is the closest dwelling to Peak Cavern in the stunning and 'other worldly' Peak Cavern Gorge. The Gorge is a SSSI and one of the Seven Wonders of the Peak. A further three renowned show caverns, 7 pubs, cafes and shops are within walking distance. The scenery is dramatic and ever changing as the weather rolls in over Mam Tor from the West. Temperature inversions create outstanding conditions for photography. The cottage is vernacular and decorated to English Heritage standards.

Beautiful "Trickett Gate House" is a 3 bed cottage located in the village of Castleton in the heart of the Peak District. Tastefully decorated and suitable for 6 people. This is for the entire cottage with parking for 2 vehicles only. Located on the edge of the village with River Peakshole running at the back of the cottage garden but within 5 minutes walking distance of seven pubs, restaurants and shops. . The back of cottage takes you to the Mam Tor and Edale, perfectly located.

Our lovely little cottage is about 200 years old. It's cosy and slap bang in the middle of some of the best scenery the UK has to offer. Excellent for walking, cycling or simply site seeing the beautiful Derbyshire Peak District National Park. Castleton is such a pretty little town with it's own castle, 7 watering holes (all dog friendly) fabulous restaurants and delightful cafes. We are situated between Bakewell and Buxton. Our quiet location out of the busy hub gives you the best of both worlds

Kingfisher Cottage

Kingfisher Cottage is attached to Bridge House, situated in the Peak District village of Bamford and benefits from a beautiful view of the River Derwent. The Cottage, which is within walking distance of Bamford train and bus station and local shops, has it's own garden and seating area on the bank of the river. The Cottage has private access and parking is available. Fly fishing is also available by arrangement with hosts.
