Vacation rentals with breakfast in Castlemaine

Andrew’s Studio was prefect and fit mine and my friends needs for the weekend well, a place to ourselves that we could call home and be able to do our own thing. Andrew was a great host, checking in a couple times making sure all was going well but still giving us our own space. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great week in Ballarat at Selena's place, it was perfect for a family stay which included a baby. We cooked family dinners in the well equiped kitchen, there was room to play in the lounge and beds comfy. Selena was a great host, very responsive for any questions.

The house was thoughtfully decorated and stocked with everything we needed for our one-week stay! Lovely touches like bread, chocolates, etc. Elizabeth was very responsive and accomodating. Spacious house inside and out. Fireplace and electric blankets helped keep us warm at night. Farm views (and occasionally, smells 😅) were very peaceful.

We loved our Easter stay at Jenny’s! She had kindly left breakfast food and Easter treats in the fridge that were appreciated and meant we didn’t have to rush out to a supermarket in the morning. The house felt homely, it is older so has characteristics to go along with that, but nothing that impacted our stay negatively. We would visit again.

Doreen’s place is absolutely gorgeous! If you are heading to Ballarat, look no further. Great location - walking distance to Sovereign Hill, 5 min drive from central shops and restaurants. Massive space, especially great if you have kids. Our 4 year old loved the kids area with books, toys. Our family was very comfortable and we had a very comfortable stay.

Thank you Denise for allowing our family to stay at your lovely property. We loved the history, the whole set-up, the many thoughtful touches and the fact it was pet friendly. We had a great time.

Outstanding home in a perfect location for Ballarat, being close enough to the central district, but far enough away for peace and quiet. The house itself had excellent tv for watching streaming services, and the kitchen is very well equipped. A great breakfast spread. Too many places give you just enough coffee for 1 morning before you then you have to go and find a shop with the right coffee pods etc. But Christine and Mark have provided an ample amount. Plus many places provide 1 dishwasher tablet or 1 sachet for cleaning, or no garbage bags. This place provides all the extra things you need to help keep the place tidy. Kitchen appliances and little things like condiments all available. Very well thought out to cater for guests who are paying for a home away from home. Mission accomplished. We have stayed in many air bnb, and this would be arguably the best for providing the essentials for a trip away. Thank you also for the easter eggs - a nice personal touch.

A big thank you to Imran for being such a fantastic host—responsive, helpful, and truly welcoming. The house was immaculate, matching the description and photos perfectly. The location was excellent, and the thoughtful touches, like good coffee, breakfast cereals, and milk, made the stay even better. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and would absolutely return in the future.

Best airbnb ever! The house is clean, homey, comfortable. Kerryn provides us with full amenities, and food! Including various tea and coffee capsules. The beddings are super fluffy and warm, extra bed provided. The rooms smell really nice, bathroom is quite spacey. The indoor plants are lovely. House is facing sunrise so it gets quite a lot of sun warmth. The location is quite close to the lake, walking distance! It is also near to bus stop so access to the city or other places are quite easy.

My stay at Alex’s property was comfortable and cosy and it was cool inside on a 40 degree day. The area was quiet and peaceful and I enjoyed the walk along the nearby creek. I would definitely stay here again.

We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt at home and relaxed. Everything we could possibly need was provided and the chocolates on arrival was a sweet touch! Narelle was friendly and replied to us promptly. Our first impression when we walked through this place was clean, bright and beautiful as shown in the pics! Thanks for a lovely, relaxing stay and we will definitely be back and recommend to our family and friends! Just beautiful! :)

The Unit was spot on! Close walk to city centre (3 minutes) if you can’t be bothered walking that far there is a place to eat across the road, lots of thing to do within walking distance, train ride, market on a Sunday, lots of restaurants, cafe’s, shops, museums! Quick walk to the Wombats garden. Wineries within driving distance (great wines!) Thanks Renee & Izzy! We enjoyed our Easter trip away from Geelong..

We had a fabulous weekend here. The place was well set up for kids, our 5yr old had a ball and Kurt and Nanette were very helpful and welcoming. Everything required was provided and more... The location was super convenient for Sovereign Hill and other local attractions.

We really enjoyed our stay here. A sweet and comfortable cottage with lovely views. We appreciated the breakfast offerings and the delicious chocolate brownie, yum! A great place to explore the region from, or to simply come and relax in. Thank you Cally and Steve

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Valerie’s bnb, what a charming house full of character and beautiful periodic features. And so very clean! Would definitely recommend. Valerie is a fantastic host, helpful, responsive and informative. The continental breakfast was an added bonus and went down well. Thank you Valerie, we hope to return someday.

We had a great weekend stay at Fiona’s place. It was cosy & central to Daylesford with only a 10 minute commute out to the main town. It had everything we needed and Fiona was very helpful with details for check in. Highly recommend this space! :)

One of the most well stocked AirBnBs we’ve stayed in. The place was lovely, with the ducks and the lake right out front. Definitely would love to stay again!

Lovely quaint cottage for a restful getaway. We particularly enjoyed a soak in the spa with some wine after a long walk. Very comfy bed and thoughtful touches.

We had a fabulous weekend at Azidene and would highly recommend it! David was welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. We loved the private garden setting and the proximity to everything.

Paul and Jo’s place was beautiful, it had such a peaceful, homely feel to it. The decor was gorgeous! The breakfast supplies were ample and lovely and it was so nice to have a toasted Hot Cross Bun for supper both nights. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the home more as we were out all day until late at night. Thanks for telling us about the kangaroos, we saw heaps but we were prepared by Jo and driving slowly :-) The sunrises were lovely (and bright) and the night view was amazing too!

We were truly grateful for our experience at Colin’s place. Colin radiates warmth and friendliness—the kind that genuinely touches your heart. When he said, “you are my guests,” he meant it, going above and beyond to make us feel comfortable during our stay. We arrived late on a chilly night, but the moment we stepped in, we were welcomed by the cozy warmth of the fireplace that Colin had kindly lit in advance. Despite the late hour, he took the time to show us around the accommodation and chatted with us, making a real effort to connect. We had to leave very early the next morning, and without hesitation, Colin said breakfast would be ready whenever we needed it—including his delicious homemade bread, even at such an early hour! That thoughtful gesture meant a lot to us. Even though our encounter was short, my family learned so much from Colin, and we’ll definitely be back. Thank you again, Colin!
