Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Castello

Die Wohnung ist sehr traditionell in einem alten Steinhaus, im wunderschönen Verzasca Tal gelegen. Der Ort ist der ideale Standpunkt, um das Tal mit der schönen Natur, aber auch Locarno und Ascona zu erkunden. Bitte beachten: der Ort ist an einem Stausee, dort kann man nicht schwimmen! Auch gibt es im Tal keine Supermärkte, Bäcker etc, Einkäufe am besten vorher erledigen. Die Wohnung selbst ist sehr sauber, die Küche voll ausgestattet, die Lage sehr ruhig. Wir waren als Familie mit 2 Kindern da und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. (Es gibt steile Treppen im Haus, für sehr kleine Kinder nicht geeignet). Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen!

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the unbeatable location of this home. Being directly on the lake, the views are nothing short of magical. Waking up in the morning and looking out over the water from the bedroom felt like something out of a dream — peaceful, serene, and impossibly beautiful. The lake was quite literally at our doorstep. The home itself was spotless, thoughtfully decorated, and full of charm. Every little detail was taken care of, and we felt instantly at ease. A special shoutout to our host, who went above and beyond when we realized last minute that we had forgotten to include our mother-in-law as a guest. It was entirely our oversight, and yet the host was kind, understanding, and incredibly accommodating. That kind of graciousness makes all the difference when you’re traveling. We can’t say enough good things about this place — the comfort, the views, the hospitality. If you’re lucky enough to find availability here, book it. Can’t wait to return

Tolles gemütliches Haus in sehr ruhiger Lage. Das Haus ist aufgrund der Größe und Ausstattung vor allem für Paare gut geeignet. Aber auch unserer Tochter (fast 4 Jahre) hat es super gefallen. Wir haben uns alle sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist sehr originell ausgestattet,das hat mir gut gefallen. Kleinkinder sollten entweder noch nicht laufen oder sehr gut Treppen laufen können. Es war sehr sauber und alles Notwendige wie z.B. Geschirrtücher oder Spülmaschinenmittel waren vorhanden. Es steht keine unnötige Deko herum. Marco ist sehr sehr nett, antwortet schnell und insgesamt war alles komplikationslos.

Das Haus hat eine fantastische Lage zwischen den Weinbergen von Brissago. Die Architektur, das Interieur und die Räume sind sehr schön und haben uns sehr gut gefallen - wir lieben puristisches Design. Viele Details im Haus und darum machen das Haus zu etwas ganz Besonderem. Wenn man abends auf der Terrasse sitzt , grillt, die grillen Zirpen und man bei einem Glas Wein auf den See blickt - dann ist diese Stimmung etwas Uniques- welches man nicht kaufen kann. Eva - die Hausfee - ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit und hat uns viele Tipps gegeben. Mille Grazie für den schönen Aufenthalt im Casa Largo. Gerne kommen wir wieder!

We really enjoyed our stay at Fiorella's house, which was perfectly located in a peaceful environment. Fiorella was really responsive and welcoming. The house is well adapted to a small family. We will definitely come back to Fiorella's house

My husband, my children and I stayed at Sebastiano’s place for three days and we have collected lots of nice memories for life. The views of this place are amazing. It is very comfortable and has in the surroundings many places to visit, or to do water sports. It was very easy to arrive by public transport and also to move from there to every sightseeing in the region. The house is very homie, and the kitchen had everything we needed, The pool is big plus and has a very relaxing atmosphere. We will come back for sure.

The apartment in the beautiful stone house of Giulia and Gianluca is a combination of tradition and comfort. You will find here everything you need to enjoy the full relaxation of your holiday. Evenings by the fireplace are a time to remember the day and have a glass of wine. We spent a wonderful Easter there and discovered new beautiful places around Domodossola. Masera is one of them. Thank you, we will definitely come back.

Trotz schlechten Wetters haben wir eine sehr entspannte Woche in diesem sehr idyllisch gelegenen gemütlichen Haus verbracht. Das Haus ist sorgfältig renoviert und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Lage ist einmalig: ganz allein auf einer Lichtung im Wald. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Everything was perfect!! The apartment was spacious, well furnished and so comfortable!! Kitchen was well stocked with premier utensils. The location was great to explore the waterfront and beautiful surroundings. We parked in the 30 minute lot at the head of the street to load and unload. The parking pass that he provided for us was a key benefit. We would highly recommend Stefano’s apartment and would surely stay there again.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt bei Franziska in vollen Zügen genossen. So ein schöner Ort - ein bezaubernder Garten, die Umgebung wunderbar - was will man mehr… wir hatten einen Zwischenstopp eingelegt auf der Rückfahrt von Süditalien mit unseren 3 Kindern. Sehr zu empfehlen, man ist auch ganz fix wieder auf der Autobahn. Danke Franziska für die schöne Zeit :)

Wir haben uns sehr wohl in dem Apartment gefühlt. Für 2 Personen ist sie optimal. Besonders genossen haben wir den kleinen Balkon, die wunderschöne Aussicht auf den See und die Natur/Berge oberhalb des Sees. Die Wohnung ist sehr gepflegt und gemütlich eingerichtet. Die steile Wendeltreppe zum Wohnbereich ist nicht für jeden geeignet, aber für uns war es kein Problem. Die Verwalterin Anna hat sich wunderbar um uns gekümmert, war jederzeit für Fragen erreichbar und hat uns tolle Tipps gegeben 😊👍🫶 Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder an diesen schönen Ort!

Wir haben uns am Pfingstwochenende spontan entschieden, 2 Nächte im Tessin zu verbringen und sind dabei auf die Wohnung von Eva gestossen. Kurz vor der Abreise haben wir die Buchung getätigt, und obwohl so kurzfristig, bekamen wir schnell eine Rückmeldung von Eva, dass die Wohnung bereit sei wenn wir ankommen. Wir wurden dann auch herzlich von ihr persönlich empfangen und sie zeigte uns die Wohnung. Wir sind eine Familie mit zwei kleinen Kindern und die Wohnung hat für so einen kurzen Aufenthalt perfekt gepasst. An dieser Stelle nochmals herzlichen Dank Eva!!

Smještaj je bio jako ugodan, čist i predivno rustikalno uređen. Kuća se nalazi na mirnoj lokaciji s divnim pogledom na jezero, a upute koje smo dobili su nam omogućile da dođemo do nje bez problema. Također, u smještaju su nas dočekala svježa jaja, sok, slatkiši, pjenušac i drugi pokloni, što je vrlo lijepo i pohvalno. Svaka preporuka za ovaj smještaj ako želite miran i ugodan odmor, mi smo se osjećali kao kod kuće.

Nous avons passé 4 jours incroyables dans le logement de Davide et Marina. Tout était parfait. Le logement est très bien équipé, et l’accès direct au lac est magnifique. Le jardin et la maison sont exceptionnels. L’endroit est sublime et paisible. Marina et Davide sont attentionnés et très réactifs. Merci à eux pour ce séjour sublime.

Es war einfach perfekt! Der Blick ist atemberaubend, die Ausstattung war unglaublich gut und alles war super sauber. Alles ist ordentlich und perfekt vorbereitet. This is a beautiful apartment in a prime location that has a parking spot, but you don't need a car. The apartment is a very short walk to the lake ferry service, the town square and a C10 bus stop. You can walk to Menaggio Piazza Roma Bus station in under 10 minutes if you want to take the bus to Lugano, Switzerland. The apartment is beautiful, with historic decor and modern conveniences and a lovely terrace. You can hear some street noises, but the apartment is very private. Roxana is very easy to communicate with. Thank you Roxana! We enjoyed our stay!

We logeerden met 7 architecten in deze prachtige woning. Het overtrof onze hoge verwachtingen. Het huis en de omgeving zijn ongelofelijk mooi. Het was een plezier om er 2 nachten te verblijven.

My only regret is that we can’t give 6 stars on the evaluation and that since we want to come back it hurts me to advertise it to others!! Frankly, a part from the place which is a little jewel, the calmness of the surroundings, the spectacular lake Como, what we appreciated the most is the kindness and proactivity of our hosts. Wonderful private and gorgeous retreat high up on the hillside. RENT A CAR. We did, but only last minute and initially had planned to uber to and from the Airbnb both for arrival and departure as well as just day trips; this would have been a mistake, it is 12-14 minutes up the hill from the town. If you have a rental car and are comfortable driving up steep roads, it is a fun adventure and the views make it well worth the trek. The space itself is second to none. Gorgeous pool with million dollar views, several levels of terraces with sun chairs, outdoor eating areas, and the home itself is inviting and comfortable.

Beautiful and nature-filled haven in Porto Ceresio surmounting Lago Lugano and surrounded by greens and mountains. The house is thoughtfully designed, comfortable and cozy. Our host Marco is friendly, professional, proactive and always willing to help on everything we need. It’s a perfect place for family and friends to make wonderful moments and memories. Highly recommended.

Wonderful place! 100% would stay again. Easy to park and go. Amazing views and comfortable accommodations. Even had a welcome basket! Local store has wine for $4 and you can grab items for breakfast before you set out. If going downtown get there early for parking. Great dinner spots all over. Elena was the best guide to meet us and get settled in. Amazing flute player as well. We loved our villa in Bellagio!
