Monthly Rentals in Castellar

We were very well hosted by Monika. The house was as described, clean and very nice. Note: you cannot access the accommodation directly by car as it is located in a small pedestrian street in the medieval old town. We were charmed by the village and the very friendly welcome from its inhabitants. It was a great stay.

Guy is a great host. I had some issues with electricity, and he came to fix it during the night! The apartment is spacious, the kitchen is well equipped, the bed is comfortable, and the internet connection is reliable and quick. A big plus is private parking.

A smiling and friendly welcome. Gilbert immediately puts you at ease and is ready to inform you about all the points of interest, and according to your tastes! The view of the mountains is exceptional and all from your bed! The place is very quiet and relaxing after a day of hiking or excursions, far from the center of Menton... and everything is close at the same time. A stay in Castillar in Gilbert's cottage that makes you want to come back, for sure. 😀

We spent a month in this apartment and were very happy with our stay. Amelie is a great host – very helpful, responsive, and always available whenever we had questions. The apartment is renovated, well-maintained, and fully equipped with everything you need for a longer stay – nothing was missing. The place is very close to Menton Garavan railway station, with easy access to both the center of Menton and Monaco. As for downsides, the apartment is located right next to the railway tracks, so it can get noisy when a train passes by. Also, while a parking spot is available, it can be quite tricky to park, especially if you have a larger car. Overall, we were very satisfied and would happily return!
