The lack of light pollution made it possible to admire once celestial times punctuated by stars, creating a magical and romantic atmosphere. A stunning property, very much deserving of its 5-star reviews. We could not have felt more at home, with every amenity thoughtfully provided by the owners. The villa is furnished to a high standard, is well locked after and spotlessly clean and the outside space..WOW! Erika, the property manager is lovely, very knowledgeable and helpful, going out of her way on a Sunday to fix a small issue with the internet which we were most grateful for. We would highly recommend this property. Due to the rural location, you will definitely need a car as there is nothing within walking distance. The restaurant recommended to us which was a short walk away appears to have closed down, unclear if this is permanent or seasonal (we visited mid-September).

Firstly this place is amazing!! From the personal greeting when you arrive (we arrived at nearly 11pm), fresh salad, fruit, vegetables, local honey, olive oil from the olive trees in the valley…every detail was covered in this little oasis. The villa had everything you needed and was cosy, the pool was amazing for a swim overlooking the the valley. Ute was always warm and friendly on hand for any advice of places to visit. Then there were the pets 2 or 3 cats (one of which called Mrs Sunshine took up residence with us for most of our stay) and the donkey and her donkey / horse cross daughter were a source of amusement during our break I couldn’t recommend this place more!!!!!

Spacious vila with great outdoor space and good privacy. We stayed with our family with young kids and besides the pool there was plenty of entertainment for them. We loved the involvement of host Rosario. Very involved during our visit and made sure we had everything we needed. Thanks Rosario for our nice holiday stay at your vila as well as for the nice treats.

We were very happy with the place. Plenty of space, nice location and very clean. Communication worked great. Without a car, it's a bit difficult to reach. Arriving at the accommodation, we had fresh bread, eggs, jam, a few other small things and of course Italian lemons on the table. Thanks for that We recommend it and would book again

We had a wonderful stay in Palermo. The special thing was undoubtedly the very good connection to Via vittorio Emanuele. Palermo shines across this main road with the most beautiful sights. Starting from the Norman Palace, the Cathedral of Palermo to the beautiful harbor in a radius of about 1.5-2km. In particular, we can recommend the Arab-Norman route, which Marina kindly advised us. A few words about Marina: Marina is very friendly, warm and overall a great hostess. We didn't miss anything! The only drawback: We had some trouble finding the place at the beginning, as the place is not at the beginning of the street - as the navigation showed it - but further back. Thank you and wish you all the best!

We spent a week here and will definitely book again when we return to Mondello. The apartment was clean and had the essentials we needed. Location is prime - super close to the beach - what more could you ask for?

We had a lovely stay at Marilena and Francesco's and we recommend it without a second thought. They were very discreet while remaining available if we needed them and flexible on our check-in and check-out times. The apartment is very well equipped, you will find everything you need there. Walking distance to the beach in 10-15 min. We didn't know exactly where we were going, but we were very pleasantly surprised by Mondello which is close to Palermo and much quieter. Note that there are a few dogs in the area. Recommended!

Carlo and Laura’s place is one of the best airbnb I’ve ever stayed. Apartment is well equipped with everything one needs at home and on the beach. One feels like at home, it’s very cosy. There is a beautiful view from their terrace. Apartment is located in a few meters from the sandy beach with crystal clear water. There are many bars and restaurants and groceries close by. And the city center is easily accessible by bus which stops close to the apartment. Communication with Carlo was easy and pleasant. Thank you Carlo and Laura for hosting us!

Gabriele’s place is great to relax and explore the surrounding part of Sicily. I’ll definitely recommend a car to get around and do the shopping but essentials such as ice cream and a bakery are in walking distance. The place fits 7-8 people easily and all the essentials are there. Gabriele is a great host, kind and super responsive! Definitely would come back.

The stay with Dario, was our last apartment in Sicily. The location is perfect to visit Palermo, Monreale and Mondello beach. The apartment is new and wonderfully large. There were two of us, but there are two bedrooms and two bathrooms so very suitable for four people. In addition to the apartment being beautiful, the most important thing to say is: the tremendous hospitality of Dario and his wife. Upon arrival, there were brioche ready for us, halfway through we got a nice wine from the region and at our farewell delicious sandwiches for breakfast….. and it's not even about what we got, it's much more about the kindness and the willingness to help, give tips and advice. Dario was WONDERFUL and felt familiar like we were friends. I can write much more beautiful and good, e.g. about how neat and clean and new it was... but I would say: experience it for yourself. The house is extremely pretty and well decorated, in a very quiet area where the streets smell of jasmine and oranges. Less than 15 minutes' walk to the beach. we felt right at home! Thanks also for the kindness of our hosts and their responsiveness.

Beautiful hosts who were so helpful. The villa was beautiful and felt so authentically Sicilian. Very comfortable, roomy and clean. Decorated beautifully with gorgeous art everywhere.

We had a great week. I recommend it 100%. The house is exactly as described. A quiet place and close to everything at the same time, to visit Palermo or enjoy the surrounding nature. Thanks to Alessandro and his friend Mimmo for their hospitality.

Such a wonderful stay in Santa Flavia! The perfect place to be if you want to not only relax, but also visiting places along the coast like Cefalu and Palermo. The creek behind the accommodation splendid. So much seafood in the area, and a fantastic restaurant only 5 minutes from the accommodation. Filippa, a lovely, generous lady who hosted the accommodation, was both very informative and extremely helpful. We highly recommend this accommodation. Thank you Filippa!

The stay in Claudio and Giuliana's apartment was great. The house is in a quiet street, but close to the liveliness of Piazza Magione and almost everything is within walking distance. It has the luxury of a beautiful roof terrace, and an outdoor kitchen! There are two great bedrooms and the living room is small but nice. It is nice that there are several possibilities in the house: the living room is cool and dark for hot days, and the roof terrace is wonderful for when the sun is not too hot. In short: recommended!

I begin by thanking Salvatore, his cordiality, kindness and timeliness with which he responded to our questions for culinary suggestions and more! We will definitely be coming back!!! We had a rental car that allowed us to move freely and always find our parking space in front of the accommodation! The large shower is comfortable and also the mattress of our bed is very comfortable, everything you need is there, we even found shampoo, body wash and many scented towels Thank you for everything and we hope to be able to return soon, Sicily is fantastic!!!
