Cottage vacation rentals in Cass County

My family had a great time. Home was as described. Outside area was great.

Had a fantastic family vacation at Diamond Lake. The cottage was perfect - cozy, clean, and VERY well stocked. Check in before you go to the grocery store because you won’t need anything other than food and drinks - all other supplies are provided. The beds were comfortable. Plenty of board games for rainy days. And the front porch and yard allowed for some family fun in the evenings after being on the beach on sunny days. Thank you for hosting - - we will be back next summer!

This is our second time staying at the Blue Bird. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet. The neighbors keep to themselves. We have always felt safe staying here.The location is close to so many good things (shopping, restaurants, beautiful beaches, activities, etc). The house is comfortable and the host is very easy to communicate with. The hot tub was a nice addition that was added since our last stay. Very close to a great restaurant and amazing coffee shop in the arts district of Benton Harbor.

Great place to stay located right in the coast and close to fun towns. Lee is an amazing host!

This cabin was perfect for our little getaway weekend. Very private and peaceful, but a close drive to town for eating and a some shopping. We rented bikes and hit the trails. Had the best smash burgers at Biebs and Ash and a great breakfast ar Angels House of Pancakes. The cabin was even better in person than the pictures show and it was decorated so cute. We enjoyed using the hot tub even though it was 90 degrees outside! The covered porch and breeze helped a ton. Melody was a great host and we would definitely like to go back in the fall.

We had a quick two night stay while visiting the area. The house was as listed and we had a great time. We loved the hot tub and the indoor space. Comfortable seating in the living area while we waited out the rain. There is a train that travels close by but otherwise had a great stay!

Very peaceful to stay put here--bring what you need and stay in these beautiful surroundings among birds and gardens and an art-filled home. Or spend time on nearby beaches and trails, wander the nearby small-town shops and nice variety of restaurants and look forward to a hot tub soak and campfire. Donna's home is welcoming and inspiring!

My friends and I had a wonderful time at this house. We were all saying how we wished we could have stayed for another day to really use all the amenities. Sadly we didn't have time to sit by the fire outside and really enjoy the outdoors. Check in was very easy and the binder of instructions was very clear and helpful on how to check out and the dos and don'ts for the house. Not a big deal, but my only complaint might be that even though it has a coffee pot available, it's a Keurig k cup, not a 12 cup coffee maker that I was expecting. Overall we had a fabulous time!

We loved staying at Michael's place. The setting is beautiful and private, and the cottage had exactly what we needed. Michael was a great host - responsive and willing to help.

We had a pleasant stay at Jennifer’s cozy cottage. The home was clean, charming, and perfect for our family. Jennifer was an excellent host—very responsive and proactive with great recommendations for beaches and local restaurants. The location is just a 3-minute drive to Hagar Beach, which was beautiful and family-friendly. Walking to the beach may be a bit challenging due to the terrain and distance, but driving was convenient with nearby parking. The only issue we encountered was with the water pressure. Although the cottage has two bathrooms, using the shower in one bathroom affected the water flow in the other and we were not able to use the other shower . Also when using the washer none of the shower will have water. We’re not sure what the root cause was, but it was something to keep in mind for future guests. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and appreciated Jennifer’s hospitality!

Mike’s place was just as described. When we got there it started storming. With young grandchildren with us they were disappointed. They weren’t for long. Mike has the garage set up full of games. Darts, shuffleboard, corn-hole, a putting green to name some. There is also PAC-Man along with another one inside. The kids, and adults, were never bored. Outside we loved the paddle boat, kayaks and paddle board. The view from the deck is amazing. There was everything we needed in the kitchen to make meals when we didn’t eat out. I highly recommend staying at Mike and Colleen’s AirBnb.

Very cute place and a great place to relax!

We loved our stay on the lake! The house was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed! The lake was beautiful and peaceful and we loved having coffee on the back porch in the mornings, taking in the quiet beauty. The location was great for day trips up to Holland and Saugatuk…but there was also plenty to do within 10-20 minutes (especially if you like wineries). Would definitely stay again!

Perfect location on the lake with a short drive to several restaurants. The lake side had a cute setup and easy access to the lake. This is where we spent most of our time, but we loved that it had a fenced in yard in the back for our dog to enjoy. The description is very accurate and the place was very clean. We would stay here again.

Such a delightful cottage on the Lake! So well equipped and relaxing. Jeremy was so helpful with advice re the barbecue grill. It was such a great stay for our grandson’s Notre Dame graduation!

Nicole was a great host. My family and I wanted an end of summer trip and this was perfect! The house was as described and as it looks in the photos. We took the boat out each day fishing. We also took the kayaks out for a bit. With a bit of rainy weather we played games. Nicole has a wide variety of games to chose from with any unfortunate weather. When reaching out to Nicole she answered very quick with great recommendations.

This place was so beautiful and charming! We loved our stay. We are from Minneapolis and the style of this home reminded us a little of our own 😊 The home was just as pictured, only thing missing that was listed under amenities was a grill. Looks like maybe it had warped the side of the house at one point so guessing that is why it was removed? Thank you Heather for an amazing stay! 🥰

Seven of us (3 adults and 4 teens- ages 12-18) enjoyed our stay over Labor Day weekend! Melissa stocked the house with games (indoor and outdoor!), linens, everything you’d need in a kitchen, and even firewood for the fire pit! We were delighted to find 4 kayaks with every size life vest we could possibly need in the garage. And the kids LOVED having a bunkhouse to themselves. We spent the weekend fishing, playing games, cooking, and enjoying a private channel off the lake. It was ideal! Melissa responded incredibly quickly and was kind and thoughtful from start to finish.

Perfect home for a long weekend that included a Notre Dame football game. The home had plenty of space for two couples and the kitchen is beautifully updated. The house is exactly like the photos and even better in person. Lovely large yard, plenty of seating out by the lake, kayaks for use, a firepit; a great vacation home. Bonus on an ND football weekend: much less traffic coming from north of campus, easy drive getting in and out of campus.

This was such a nice weekend with our family. The cottage was stocked with everything you need! The lake is super quiet and pretty private! The place was clean and remodeled in the inside. Our first time booking an AIRBNB so we were nervous but we are so glad we did!

Very cozy and cute place! I loved the short walk into town. It was the perfect place to spend the weekend. My family & fur-baby adored this place and I definitely plan to come back. I loved the backyard! It’s so big! It was fun to hang back there and exercise. I have so many good things to say.
