Beautiful space in the heart of Castell'azzara, right opposite the local bar and a supermarket. Mauro is a friendly soul, and showed me around the place and explained the amenities. There is space outside the room overlooking the local square when you can sit and enjoy a morning drink and soak up the sunshine. I also very much appreciate how they went out of their way and allowed a late check-out before I headed to my next destination

Simona is an amazing host. The place was exactly what we wanted, felt right at home. Cooked amazing meals in that kitchen!! One of us works remotely so seeing the WiFi was super strong (186mbps) we had no trouble at all. She gave us loads of recommendations and the town is perfectly in the middle to enjoy a lot of the surrounding areas in just a short drive. Highly recommend it and we will be back for sure. Great apartment for three people (two adults and a boy), clean and well supplied, great location for accessing the free thermal springs of S.Filippo (right above the spa, you can walk there) and great starting point for visiting the Val d'Orcia. Marco is very kind and helpful for communications. I highly recommend it 👍

The town of San Giovanni delle Contee is delightful, quiet and also easily accessible. Of great value is the multifunction club (bar, trattoria, grocery) run by people of great enthusiasm. Ada's apartment was a great choice for us, cozy, spacious and with a pellet stove that guaranteed all the necessary comfort. We took advantage of the kitchen to dine in the house, but I would recommend taking advantage of the circle practically in front of the house, for a full-immersion in the village. We arrived by motorcycle and were able to park in front of the house, as the area was completely quiet. The surroundings are of course beautiful; we visited the thermal baths of San Casciano dei Bagni (about 28 km), but towards the south you will find Sorano, Pitigliano, Sovana, ... I recommend staying at least two or three days.
