Travel for work. Stayed here a week with the family. Very comfortable and cozy. Felt very welcoming and home like. Loved the walking trails and easy access to the community center. Very enjoyable stay.

Jennifer was an excellent and communicative host, and the place was perfect for us. She also discovered right away that we left something behind and coordinated with us to make sure we got it back.

This place was perfect for a girls’ weekend. Super close to Water Street shopping and wonderful restaurants. The gathering area upstairs was large enough for us to spread out and chat or play games. Lots of laughter this weekend — a trip we won’t forget.

I recently stayed at an Airbnb in Excelsior, and it was a fantastic experience. The location couldn't have been better, with the property situated just a short walk from the downtown area, full of great restaurants. Being so close to Lake Minnetonka was a real highlight—it's perfect for walks, boating, or just enjoying the views. The host was very welcoming and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The property itself was clean, well-maintained, and had a homey feel. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy all that Excelsior and Lake Minnetonka have to offer.

It was TRANQUIL and I loved that it backs right up to Minnewashta Park that has many trails to hike down to the lake. The beds and linens were very comfortable and we slept well in the quiet solitude. There was plenty of space both indoors and outdoors for little ones to play. The outside propane grill worked well and we BBQed most our meals using it. It is well maintained with clean new carpets. We really appreciated that Sabrina was kind enough to supply some toys and play kitchen for the children. They loved the bunk beds and made forts with the extra blankets. Having a washer/dryer in unit is a big plus when you are staying more than a week, especially with little ones.

Our family had a nice stay here while our home was being repaired. Our sons particularly enjoyed fishing off the dock on the lake and we enjoyed the well supplied kitchen. Minnestay was very responsive and when there were some maintenance items they were quick to respond and the person who repaired things was friendly and resourceful.

We loved out stay at John's place in Cottagewood. Great location, beautiful home, well stocked . . . perfect for our family of five. Would absolutely stay again!

A charming and perfectly cozy little nest in a historic home and neighborhood — I had everything I needed and slept great. Brian and Brenda were helpful and accommodating, and the lovingly-curated historical information on the home and the neighborhood in the binder by the couch was 🤌🏼 top notch terrific, and really added to my appreciation of the home. Super comfortable place while I experienced a stressful hospitalization of my Dad. It was a perfect spot near the hospital and gave me a great night sleep with everything I needed. Very grateful for this place!

Richard's place was easy to find and just as advertised. The pictures don't lie and the place was spotless. They even go so far as to provide a few snacks for you during your stay. 10/10

We had a fantastic stay in Minneapolis! The space was clean, cozy, and had such a warm, homey vibe — it immediately felt like a place to relax and unwind. The beds were super comfortable, and we slept great. Our host, Andy, was incredibly accommodating and kind, especially with our late check-in, which made everything so smooth and stress-free. You can tell care was put into making this a welcoming space. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

The Place Between the Lakes is the best place I've booked through Airbnb. It's extremely cozy and comfortable, aesthetically pleasing and in a beautiful neighborhood in Minneapolis. I appreciated the thoughtful touches like the Minnesota maple syrup, tooth brush and floss, and other amenities you typically find a more elevated hotel. Kris and Jessie were proactive with their communication and had ample instructions in the Airbnb. My only regret is it being too cold to enjoy the patio--it looks so cozy! Thank you both!

I felt right at home. The interior design is stylish and the overall look is that of one of my cooler friends’ houses. OMG The mattress was SO comfy!! Like accidentally took a 3 hour nap midday comfortable!! Linens were soft, fresh, and added to the relaxing feel. I felt safe coming back late night. I would definitely stay here again. My only criticism is that I do wish the entry area was more well lit. Or that it was more clear as to how to turn on porch and foyer lights.

Such a beautiful and clean space to stay and make memories in with my best friends! Perfect location - a super peaceful spot while still being 10-15 minute drive from nightlife, shopping and great food.

Beautiful setting, peaceful, comfortable place - only a little tough to find food if you arrive later when restaurant options might be closed (especially if vegetarian) because it is a rural area. Friendly, responsive hosts.

Very cute little getaway! Nice and clean and cozy. Hot tub was perfect. Beds were SO comfy. Awesome view looking over the lake at all the birds: eagles, swans, geese, woods ducks, cardinals, blue jays,etc. Thank you so much for a wonderful, relaxing stay in the Spring!

It was a great place all around. My daughter got married in the area & we used the house as a pre wedding area. Beautiful location & big enough to house all the girls! Definitely would be a great place for a family gathering!

Our group of 6 adults absolutely loved staying here over Christmas week while visiting family in the area. The house is beautiful, comfortable, cozy, and quiet. The area is very safe and you can't beat a lake view, even in winter. We found just about everything we needed in the kitchen and appreciated there was lots of space to cook and store food. There were quite a few things to clean before heading out, but we spread it out over the night before we left and morning of, no big deal since we had lots of helpers. We played a couple rounds of cornhole in the garage, which was so fun! We would definitely stay here again!!

We loved this cottage and being close to the peaceful lake. It was so well made and great design. Every space was comfortable and well thought out. Comfy beds. Beautiful views of the lake out all the windows and lovely sunsets. We grabbed meats from the butcher in town and grilled and also ate in town one evening. This one's a winner!

Our stay at Hygge Valley Hideaway was a picture perfect weekend. Kammi was a wonderful host who clearly loves this property. The cabin-feel was so cozy, the sunset views were spectacular, and everything was clean and clearly marked. We loved our visit!

This place was a lovely retreat from regular life. The house was comfortable and pleasantly decorated, and the setting was beautiful. Sitting on the dock watching the sun rise over the lake with a cup of coffee got my days off to a great start. There were several excellent options for private work space, and a TV in every bedroom (with a bonus TV in the main living space). The kitchen was comfortable, and the recreational equipment was all in good working order. It was chilly while we were there in early October, but we were able to use the provided kayaks and enjoyed ourselves on a sunny afternoon. 10 of 10, would recommend and stay again!
