Vacation rentals with lake access in Carver County

The perfect getaway on the lake. Close proximity to groceries, shopping, and restaurants. Beautiful backyard space and great dock. We kept a 26ft boat there for the week and highly recommend anyone staying here takes advantage of the lake access.

Great stay near the Twin Cities for a large group! Plenty of space, great outdoor area right on the lake. Would recommend for large summer gatherings!

We loved out stay at John's place in Cottagewood. Great location, beautiful home, well stocked . . . perfect for our family of five. Would absolutely stay again!

We had a lovely weekend here with our 90 year old grandmother and 6 children. This is a beautiful home with a stunning view, the sunrise was exceptional. We also discovered an amazing vineyard just 7min away. We had beautiful bonfires right by the water and had an incredible time together, we would love to come back if we are in the area again and if God allows. We highly recommend this place to anyone, it truly is a gem!! Thank you to Tracy for her kindness and help with everything!

Place is serene and beautiful. The Gazebo is bigger than expected and the view is a delight. Highly recommend.

Jeanne’s place on the lake was perfect for our weekend in Excelsior. We had ample space, comfy beds, stocked mini fridge, privacy, and beautiful views of and easy access to the lake. We were a quick drive into the adorable town of Excelsior and an easy drive into the city for dinner. Communication was great with a smooth check in and friendly hosts. All in all a great experience.

I had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The one-bedroom space was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The shower was excellent, with great water pressure and plenty of hot water. The neighborhood felt very safe, which made my stay even more enjoyable. Communication with the host was smooth, and they were very accommodating. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and secure place to stay by the historic lake.

This place is perfect size, and curated really nice. Walking distance to a coffee shop with an incredible work space. Well thought out studio by the owner. Everything was great.

Richard's place was easy to find and just as advertised. The pictures don't lie and the place was spotless. They even go so far as to provide a few snacks for you during your stay. 10/10

Allison's place is magical! We stayed for a couple of months just after moving to Minneapolis, during our housing search. Her space is quaint and cozy, exactly like the pictures, and the building is true to its original character in its decor as well. Allison was a fabulous host -- she stocked the apartment well with fruit, coffee, and snacks for our arrival, and in general, we felt we always had what we needed during our stay -- a variety of cookware, cleaning supplies, additional linens, etc. We had no issues at all except for a minor plumbing one, and Allison had it resolved within a couple of hours. We loved the location - it is across the street from a beach, which seemed like a well-used, vibrant community spot. We spent time on the beach while it was swimming weather, and walked along the paths around it almost every day with our dogs. It was especially picturesque as the trees changed color and weather cooled. We loved our stay here and would gladly stay again!

The location was great. We like being by the lakes and had stayed in the Linden Hills area before. Kevin’s place is just a block from the Bde Maka Ska so there are lots of places to walk or ride your bike. There is on street parking right outside the front door. Kevin and Sue were exceptionally hospitable and went out of their way to make our stay more enjoyable. The apartment was immaculate, quiet and dark at night. The walk in shower was great. The kitchen was well equipped, although we did not use it, choosing to go out to some excellent nearby restaurants instead.

The Place Between the Lakes is the best place I've booked through Airbnb. It's extremely cozy and comfortable, aesthetically pleasing and in a beautiful neighborhood in Minneapolis. I appreciated the thoughtful touches like the Minnesota maple syrup, tooth brush and floss, and other amenities you typically find a more elevated hotel. Kris and Jessie were proactive with their communication and had ample instructions in the Airbnb. My only regret is it being too cold to enjoy the patio--it looks so cozy! Thank you both!

We had a great stay at Jodi's place! It was very clean and just as described. The five beds and 3 baths were perfect for our group. The location was great, and we enjoyed taking walks/runs around the nearby lakes. We would recommend checking out BRIM just around the corner. Jodi was a great host! she was responsive and helpful in answering our questions. I would recommend this stay!

Laura is such a thoughtful and gracious host! The carriage house is absolutely charming - bright, spacious, peaceful, and private. I felt extremely safe and comfortable throughout my stay. A perfect cozy winter weekend hideaway!

Some friends and I stayed at Jessica’s cottage for our annual reading retreat. The space was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. It is the perfect mix of feeling cozy with plenty of space and a gorgeous view of the lake. Jessica was a great host and communicative. Whether coming together for a weekend with friends or spending a week with family, I’d definitely consider Jessica’s place again!

We stayed for an extended Super Bowl/birthday weekend and had a great time. Super responsive to messages when there was a very small issue and checked in multiple times to make sure all was well. We would love to go back in summer. Very efficient space for a large group and the new hot tub was a hit with everyone in our party. Thank you!

Great space for an extended family stay. Enjoyed the great patio spaces, beautiful lake with kayak, well appointed kitchen, and large dining table and living room. Main floor was very accessible for family with a walker and they were able to navigate the few steps to the main patio too, but would be nice to have the main bathroom shower upgraded some day to be a more accessible walk in shower (there is a walk in shower upstairs). Host/brother very responsive to a few questions that came up.

Our time at Rachel and Jacob’s cabin was as advertised…a comfortable cabin with clean rooms, all listed amenities and a quiet location for our time in MN. The frozen lake complete with fish houses and other winter activities was enjoyable to watch and we hope to return to participate in the summer offerings sometime in the future. J&J

We now stay at this cozy cottage yearly for a family, mother/daughter trip. My husband and I are also interested in staying for our own romantic get away sometime. It is the perfect blend of city perks combined with a wooded, lake view natural environment. We also loved enjoying the huge hot tub outside right in the middle of winter. It was a joy all around that we can’t wait to enjoy again and keep recommending!

We were looking for a spot several family members could meet over the holidays. There were 6 adults and this house was perfect! Very relaxing, plenty of space and so cozy. We would highly recommend.

Loved loved loved everything about the stay! Felt right at home, kitchen filled with all the amenities to make food for a big family. Ample seating options in and outside of the cottage. Lots of fun water activities available in and in great condition. Our first time utilizing a Blackstone, it was so convenient for cooking in big quantities. Britt was an amazing host!
