Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Carvalhal

Carla & Rui's apartment was very nice. Everything you needed is there. Even for the baby, everything was there. It was cozy and you had plenty of space. The area towards the sea and Ericeira is super beautiful to explore. Carla & Rui were very helpful and took great care. Everything is great!

We stayed for a month and this beautiful house is just as pictured. It is spotlessly clean and had all of the amenities listed. The beach is gorgeous and is about a 10 min walk with both ocean and lagoon access and a nice restaurant (O Lagoeiro). Mafalda is easy to contact and speaks fluent English. She couldn’t have been nicer. We recommend a rental car. Some practical info: Mercadona was the best grocery store we found and is an 18 min drive away. There are tolls on both bridges going into Lisbon (2 euro 15 for the red April 25 bridge and 3 euro 30 for the long white bridge). Favourite restaurants: Loco (Michelin star) and Sr Vinho (Fado) - both in Lisbon. Parking was not easy and if you get blocked in, people often leave their contact info on the dashboard and will quickly move their vehicles. In Sesimbra we liked Le Meridian and Forte de Santiago (beautiful beach view). In Sintra the Italian restaurant Fatto was amazing. We highly recommend this beautiful house!

Rhino House is excellent. I'd stay there again. Helio and Paula are great hosts, always quick with a response and a solution. We were there for over a month, so a few little issues were bound to crop up (nothing serious) but Helio and Paula always came to the rescue and quickly. The location is fine. The neighbourhood is unspectacular, but certainly safe and the neighbourhood people are friendly and helpful (like all Portuguese people!). It's only a seven minute drive to beautiful Cascais, and about the same to Estoril, so quite convenient to everything. And the highway is close by when you want to venture further. The house is exactly as pictured and does not disappoint. Yes, it's a little expensive, but you get what you pay for in this life. It's a beautiful place, and worth the money. Stay there.

the house is beautiful, located in a very peaceful setting with plenty of space. perfect for a family get together. The pool and house were very clean and Joao was friendly and helpful.

Our group wanted to stay outside of the city and we found this fantastic beach house 25 minutes outside of Lisbon. Easy to go into the city for the day if you’d like. However there are great restaurants and a beautiful beach to relax at in Costa de Caparica. The host is extremely responsive and helpful, and the home was perfect for our group of 14. I couldn’t recommend this place more!

Peaceful spot, and wonderful hospitality from Armie! She was responsive for questions like the estimated price of a tuktuk ride, and we enjoyed her cooking as well. Thank you for the lovely stay!

Beautiful, spacious, comfortable, very well located, modern and cozy. I spent 20 wonderful days on vacation with my kids and we loved it! I've been to several places in Portugal and Vera's apartment is undoubtedly one of the best! Everything was perfect, we highly recommend it!

This place is a delight! I loved how homey it felt. The design was wonderful, and with all the windows it really let nature in. I came without a car, which was a mistake! Definitely have your own wheels to get around as it's not really walkable. Everything was comfortable and clean. Wonderful stay!

We stayed two nights at the beach house, a well located accommodation, super clean and neat, perfect for a weekend getaway. With an available, friendly and attentive host, we leave with a desire to return, and on the next, a horseback ride experience!

Very nice small studio, with an available host, a great terrace and good wifi connection. Quick access to Sintra. Small downside, it was a little chilly at night this December. But, overall, we recommend eyes closed! We'll definitely be back!

This place was absolutely perfect for unwinding after some long workdays. It’s incredibly peaceful, surrounded by nature — exactly what we needed to relax and recharge. The sunrises were breathtaking, and we loved watching them through the huge windows right from the comfort of the big, cozy bed. The house has a very calming vibe, and everything was thoughtfully prepared for a great stay. We left feeling refreshed and inspired. We’ll definitely be back! We really enjoyed the stay at Filipe‘s place. The house is close to a beach with small bar and a pizza place. You can surf here and it‘s 15min by car to Ericeira. We did a workaction here, if you are looking for something similar we can recommend this place.
