We loved our stay with Guadalupe! The windmill was so cozy and had all the amenities to be able to stay the whole trip or to easily explore Setúbal and return. Everything we hoped for and more and a very reasonable price! Guadalupe was so welcoming and kind and made us feel right at home! Thank you so much ♥️

The place is very cute and the beach and how open and undeveloped the beach was is unlike anywhere else. We did three days of surf lessons from Caeser who is literally 100ft from the house down the beach and there is surfing right out your front door with board and wetsuit rentals.. The town itself is a little bleak and there wasn't much to do and we found if the weather was bad restaurants close very early (like 6pm) so just make sure to find out times if you are planning on eating out for dinner. Our family of four was in love (2 boys ages 7 and 10) but my in laws came too who are in their early 80s. I clearly wasn't thinking bc the walk to the house is through the sand and hard to navigate, my mother in law also couldn't get over the sand dune to go to the beach, and the stairs in the house are more like a ladder. so it's wonderful for able bodies but if you have someone with special needs it may not be suitable. but otherwise if you love surfing, beautiful sunsets book it!

We felt very comfortable! It was a fantastic vacation, with an incredibly beautiful beach. The place was as described, we didn't miss anything. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. Esperança welcomed us in a very friendly way and showed us everything right away. She was always very helpful and gave us great tips. We would come back any time. It was a completely successful vacation. Thank you for everything. 🫶

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa da Falesia. We were welcomed to the house by Renato and his wife. They were extremely helpful, explaining all the house details and giving us advice about the surroundings, places to visit, where to eat (we went 3 times to Tia Rosa) and buy essentials . The house is fully equipped, and even if there is no air conditioning, it kept cool and comfortable the whole stay, even if the temperatures outside were quite high (32C). The beach is three minutes away, by walk, accessible by a stair that goes down an amazing cliff, resembling a star wars scenery. The location was perfect for us, as it allow us to do some birding excursions at the trails of Lagoa de Sto André, and to the bird observation tower at Praia de Melides. It’s also close to Comporta, where you can find some nice designer shops (even if quite expensive), and Troia, where you can find a beautiful beach, where swimming is less challenging. We do hope to return one day.

We had an absolutely excellent stay! The accommodation is very well located in town – everything you need for daily life is within walking distance, including great restaurants and charming boutiques. Having a private parking spot was a huge plus, especially since we enjoyed exploring different beaches by rental car. Comporta Beach is easily reachable on foot – just a short 2–3 minute drive if preferred. The villa itself is very modern and beautifully decorated in an authentic bohemian style, with a great attention to detail. Everything feels thoughtfully chosen. Beautiful pergola – a perfect spot to relax in partial shade with comfortable seating. The entire place was spotlessly clean, spacious, and well-equipped. The heated pool was ideal for the kids. Plenty of sun loungers. We were 4 adults and 2 toddlers, and the house offered more than enough space – it could have easily accommodated more guests without feeling crowded. Corinna was a wonderful and helpful host! Highly recommended

we had a lovely time at George's place, it truly is a special property and has everything you might want for a romantic getaway! little note, as George mentions the drive up to the house is steep and can be a bit tricky to reverse back if a car comes towards you. while the house feels private and relaxing, you do have neighbouring houses and can hear cars or the neighbours around. overall a lovely stay in a house that was very beautifully designed and more spacious than it looks in the pictures and full of charm. George was a very welcoming and responsive host!! thank you
