Amazing place to stay! Johnny was one of the kindest people my family and I met during our time in Ireland! Gave great recommendations on places to eat and places to go :)

Rose Cottage Farm Private Unit-1 km to town center

I would definitely recommend staying here. The accommodation was pristine and the bed was super comfortable. Host thought of everything from bathroom toiletries to biscuits and milk in a mini fridge on arrival. It's located a 20 minute walk from town or about a 3 to 4 minute drive. Would stay here again when we come back to beautiful Westport.

Lovely place. The area for us was what we needed, a mixture of nice walks, history and peacefulness combined. Good value for money in a beautiful little place. Our hosts were so helpful, friendly and very accommodating. We would return in time & recommend to anyone if in this neck of the woods.

Jack's Place in Westport

This was one of our favorites on the trip. The layout of the house is pleasing, with plenty of space to open large luggage. Comfortable furniture. Lovely vanity in the master bedroom. We slept well on the quality mattresses. The setting is quiet, with some sweet sheep sounds to put you to sleep. While rural, it's only about 15 minutes to Westport and beyond for sightseeing, restaurants, and shopping.

Killawalla Cottage, Westport.

KellyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We’ve seen castles and cities but now we wanted to find a quiet cozy place without traffic or noise. No maids with morning deliveries or late arriving guests throwing suitcases into cupboards in the wee hours as if they’re the only residents. This house is exactly as presented - in the country, situated on a working farm. It was very comfortable and clean. The only sound we heard were the bleating sheep and a distant donkey. This is the first true quiet we’ve had in 5 weeks of travel. Although not extravagant, it was truly Irish in the location, the sights, and smells. It is a very short distance to Westport and the beaches. The drive is lovely. Paul was very responsive with scheduling and answering any question. This was a last minute side trip during an otherwise minute-by-minute planned trip of 7 weeks. It was wonderful to have something “unplanned” such as this. It felt as if we were really feeling the Irish history in real life rather than an orchestrated tour.

River Cottage Retreat~Sauna~Cold Plunge~Waterfall

ViktorRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Our stay at River Cottage felt less like checking into an Airbnb and more like stepping into Anna and Luke’s thoughtfully curated retreat. Nestled beside a usually gentle stream, the cottage offered a rare kind of quiet. We found ourselves unwinding in ways we hadn’t expected. As if the place itself were helping us silence the usual rush of thoughts. The sauna and cold plunge, discreetly positioned at the water’s edge, added a touch of simple luxury. They blended seamlessly into the natural surroundings rather than standing out as flashy extras, even when lit up at night. We explored the surrounding area by car and found Sligo to be the perfect complement to the cottage’s peaceful seclusion. My wife and I already feel drawn back to this little slice of Ireland - eager for another chance to recharge in the calm that Anna and Luke have created. We’re also looking forward to seeing their next ideas come to life.
