From this location you can see to the south the most beautiful mountains of the Apennine back until you reach Mount Conero, and to some typical towns of Montefeltro such as Sassocorvaro and Urbino. In the northwest is Mount Carpegna with its evocative Ripa called "Costa dei Salti" that highlights the sandstone-type stratification of Mount Carpegna. It is possible to reach in a few kilometers small and important ancient villages such as San Leo, Montecerignone, Cavoleto, Frontino and many others that offer, especially in the summer, local festivals and medieval revisions for a dip in the past. The house is surrounded by meadows and forests of evocative beauty and an still unspoiled environment, inhabited in every corner by nature, a privileged guest and always present, it offers an ideal place to rest your mind and body. The staff will also be happy to explain nature trails and itineraries and suggest popular events in the surrounding area. Pietrarubbia is a hilly village of medieval origins. The village is dominated by the majestic summit of Mount Carpegna, which shows on this steep slope side, with thick beech trees alternating with the bare rock; allaround there is a varied mosaic of crops, woodland and, here and there, of sharp rocky spikes dominated by ancient fortresses. The ancient village is a short walk away and deserves your attention. The extensive land around the house is magnificent to visit on horseback or with a beautiful walk. The B&B is built out of a 19th century stable, with a wonderful view over the "Montefeltro". The two double room have both private bathroom, free wireless internet, dvd, music player, a fully equipped kitchen and pool. We accept animals with a little overcharge; they can enter the pool enclosure, but not the water!

Romantic cosy flat - Toscana Italy

Very quiet village, without shops but sometimes a baker, a haberdasher or a greengrocer come to the village and sell their products, as it used to be decades ago- nice experience! In front of the B&B you can see a small church from the end of the 1800s, with a bell tower. :)
