We had an amazing few days stay in Grange. The house had just what we needed. Beautiful space outside to relax under the mountains and for the toddlers to run around. So many walks from the door around Derwent water and in Borrowdale Valley. Thanks Lewis!

Wonderful property on edge of Lakes with great access to multiple beauty spots. Quiet with lovely views. Lots to do in the house. Extremely comfortable. Very well stocked in kitchen and bathrooms. Immaculately clean throughout. Personal touch to everything which made it feel more homely. Great for kids of all ages. Will stay again !

Fantastic place, beautiful location, everything we needed available for a great weekend stay

We loved spending Easter weekend in this lovely home. It was well equipped with everything we needed, and we enjoyed both the wood burning stove and the nice sunny terrace after exploring Cockermouth and the Lake District.

We stayed for 2 nights over the Easter holidays. The house was clean and well stocked! Keswick is walkable which was great for us. Lots of tips given prior to check in.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming farmhouse in the Lake District. The place was immaculately tidy, with a very well-catered kitchen that had everything we needed—perfect for cooking up a proper Easter Sunday roast, which we were lucky enough to enjoy outside in the garden thanks to some glorious spring sunshine. The wood burner made the evenings extra cosy, and the peaceful, beautiful surroundings made for a truly relaxing break. Diana was excellent—friendly, helpful, and very responsive. highly recommended!

Perfect location for the wedding we went to nearby and house has everything you need, plenty space and was spotless. Haylie was a really good host and very quick yo respond to questions and queries.

We had a wonderful few day’s stay in the Lake District. The cottage was just perfect for our visit and we couldn’t have wished for more!

Robin communicated promptly and was super helpful. His cottage is ideally located - a quick walk into Ambleside, but away from the centre and very quiet. It was clean and cosy. Perfect for a great walking holiday.

Well located flat in central Keswick - on street parking but we had no trouble on Easter weekend finding spaces. Well stocked with everything - great to have milk/tea/ coffee bags :) Big shower but narrow to get past bath to get to it ( see photos so not unexpected). Looked recently renovated so pristine clean. No window in bathroom so faint damp smell sadly but lots of air fresheners. There was a little back garden which would have been lovely to use if a little warmer. All in all great stay for 5 nights.

We had a really wonderful stay, the place was so cozy and had everything we needed. Alison was so lovely and very fast to respond, she had also kindly left us tea/coffee, biscuits, cereal, milk and much more !

Had a great stay. The host was easy to communicate with and provided clear, helpful instructions. The place was clean, cosy, and quiet with lovely views. Great location for visiting places like Lowther Castle & Gardens. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay again next time we’re in the Lakes.

What a truly wonderful little place, there is so much to do for the kids and my two really did enjoy it! The apartment was absolutely stunning, spotless and also very spacious. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to book a trip away to the lakes be it with children or without. We will definitely be coming back!

Thank you so much for a fabulous stay! The accommodation was absolutely perfect with everything you could need for a week away. Walking was possible straight from the door with some great options. Two pubs a few minutes walk away. The bed was extremely comfy, the accommodation had the best view ever and it was so quiet and peaceful! We will be back. Thank you!

Hi Nia, What a perfect apartment for our stay in Grasmere. Right in the centre but very peaceful. It was really clean and spacious and we felt right at home as soon as we stepped in. We had a great time. David and Julie.

This was our second stay at Kate’s barn and we loved it just as much as the first! It’s such a gorgeous place to relax, and there are plenty of delightful walks to do nearby. Kate was super welcoming, and we’d definitely like to come back here again!

An Easter Break at The Beehive ,Grasmere. From clear communication & instruction, The Beehive was a perfect place to spend the Easter Break in the Lake District. Accurate description, spotlessly clean. Complimentary bottle of wine and a lovely fruit cake on arrival . The decor was lovely throughout & the apartment had everything we needed during our stay. The views from the communal garden space were lovely & an easy walk into Grasmere took us to some lovely eateries . Really enjoyed the Distillery & The Swan Hotel . Rather than use the car we hopped on & off the regular 555 & 599 buses to Ambleside, Keswick . They were so easy & cheap too. With a flexible check in & out and great communication we thoroughly enjoyed our stay & will surely return . Thanks

Great stay at Raluca's place. Her communication was great from the outset, responding promptly to questions and providing lots of local recommendations. The place was perfect for our stay and the kids had a great time. The swimming pool and play areas were excellent and the toys in the apartment were a real bonus. Would happily stay here again for a family break.

Our stay at Julie’s was absolutely lovely; the attention to detail was second to none, every room was spotless and looked fresh and new. The decor was very inviting and tasteful and the view out of the bedroom window was beautiful. The location was perfect- very peaceful and green. And of course Julie was ever so welcoming and kind and quick to answer any queries.

A wonderful air b&b in a wonderful place! So easy to walk into Keswick with so many great pubs and restaurants. Just 10 - 15 min walk to Derwentwater which is an absolutely stunning lake. The apartment was exactly as expected from the description/pictures. The welcome pack of a bottle of wine, some beers and tea coffee and biscuits was a lovely surprise! A perfect place for a long weekend. Would highly recommend staying here. Thank you Graham & Wendy!

One of the best AirB&B ever and matches the name “Retreat” for a relaxed holiday. I always love pure white decor and the place is spotlessly clean. We had complete privacy and tranquility of the countryside. Everything is well-provided as a home away from home. Loved the aroma fragrance as soon as walked in and little things for kids to enjoy: board games, kids TVs and the private garden is just amazing. Judy is super responsive and just a message away via the AirB&B chat. Definitely recommend this place and looking forward to coming back soon.

Can't recommend Kim's place enough! The location is perfect - absolutely loved sitting out on the terrace just listening to the water and looking for red squirrels (we saw one a couple of times!) Very comfy and clean inside too.
