We had a wonderful stay at this cosy accommodation! The space was incredibly comfortable and made us feel right at home. The scenery around the property is beautiful, offering peaceful and picturesque views that made my mornings so relaxing. Our host was fantastic—friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with any questions or recommendations. They truly went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. I would highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a warm, inviting place with great hospitality and beautiful surroundings!"

Absolutely fabulous stay in this beautiful very bright house set in a quiet location with stunning views of the Sarlat Valley. Comfortable house, super equipped kitchen, basic product available ( salt, pepper, sugar,... garbage bags,... ), top bedding. Katie and Jean-Eric are very attentive and friendly hosts. A small welcome gift awaited us as well as a very complete dossier on activities and visits in the area. This house is to be recommended without hesitation, we will be back 10/10. Glenn and his wife are very welcoming and considerate hosts. When we arrived a fire was burning in the cottage which did us a lot of good. The small touches of our hosts touched us a lot. The cottage is ideally located in a quiet area and the amenities offered are perfect. I would recommend this place for your vacation in the Lot.

This place was great! It is a recently renovated 17th century house whose owners kept the charm and integrity of the original building while incorporating all the modern conveniences one would expect. Well furnished throughout with a fantastic and well equipped kitchen. Location was perfect with everything within easy walking distance to restaurants, shopping, etc. in Sarlat. Julie was the perfect host promptly responding to our questions are providing helpful information about the house and surroundings.

Of all the locations on our tour, this was definitely the best. What a nice location! Cozy, clean, full of comforts and quiet location. We immediately felt completely at home there. A great base from which to explore the surroundings. A nice neighborhood shop is also a short walk away. Lucy is an enthusiastic friendly host, we felt welcome. So recommended.

Shane and Helena are great hosts, probably the best we've had. They are very attentive to make sure everything goes smoothly, very welcoming and always available. The accommodation matches the description, and the environment is superb and well maintained, the pool is great after long days of walking/visiting. The accommodation is very well located: 15 minutes from Sarlat, 30 minutes from Lascaux and most castles. Gouffre de Padirac 45 minutes away. Another big thank you to Shane and Helena for hostingus!

We have just spent 6 days here and can honestly say it was a wonderful time. We thought the photos looked great but it really did exceed our expectations and is absolutely stunning in the ‘flesh’. After a long, hot drive, to sit at the bar by the pool chatting with Tracey and Gavin was a fabulous start to our holiday. The accommodation is just perfect in every way and I don’t think we will ever find more comfortable beds. The gite is situated in a beautiful spot and also within easy distance of the many other amazing sights of the Dordogne. Tracey and Gavin are the most friendly, welcoming and generous of hosts, nothing is too much trouble and we left knowing we have made lovely new friends. We shall definitely be returning next year. Lovely few days. The location is beautiful. Steve was amazing at communicating and very helpful. Pascal the house sitter was there ready to greet us when we arrived. Hosts were very helpful and kind rectifying any issues etc and their customer service was outstanding.

Very nice country house a few kilometers from Sarlat. The calm of the countryside, the greenery nearby, everything was there to enjoy a relaxing vacation. The house is well exposed which allows us to have the sun in the afternoon, even if it means taking refuge in the shade of one of the 2 terraces (including the pool-house). Patricia lives right next door. She knows how to be available when necessary and remains very discreet.

I had a wonderful stay in this apartment! Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed by the host, who took the time to show me around. The apartment is impeccably clean and tastefully decorated. The location is ideal, close to shops and public transport, which makes it easy to get around. The bedding is comfortable and I slept very well. The kitchen is fully equipped, which allowed me to prepare a few meals without any worries. I highly recommend this listing to anyone looking for a pleasant and relaxing stay. Fantastic location in the historic centre and wonderful little appt in an ancient, restored building. The kitchen is tiny and there was no washing machine or easy way to make coffee. Courtyard directly outside was lovely to sit in at night. Melissa is very responsive and there is private parking nearby. Saturday market in the town square was excellent.

Very nice apartment, bright, very clean, nicely furnished and with all the essentials in the kitchen. Very quiet neighborhood with free parking available. A 10-minute walk to downtown and the market, and 20 minutes to the stadium (long live rugby!). Yvan is charming, and very responsive and available. We'll come back without a second thought for our next stop in Brive :-)

We were sad that we weren’t able to enjoy the restaurant but the grounds were lovely. Private patio was a bonus and every day we enjoyed the views over the river. Would highly recommend.

Our group of 4 adults and 4 children spent a total of 7 nights at Maison Agora. During our stay we thoroughly enjoyed all that Judith’s Maison had to offer including the tastefully decorated rooms full of beautiful details, pictoresque views of the surrounding countryside, heated saltwater swimming pool, functional kitchen with all the amenities you could think of and a play cabinet full of treasures for the kids (the list goes on and on). Additionally Judith and Christine (local host) were really responsive and helpful. Thank you again for a lovely week! We highly recommend Maison Agora to all travellers (5 stars)!
