perfect location! if you want to discover Lisbon this is the perfect spot. transportation is next door and Ubers are easy and regular. Located on the 4th floor without elevator, plan for suitable luggage but it's nice to have the view of the rooftops. however, it must be hot in the summer

We enjoyed our visit to Cascais. The apartment is in a great spot, very close to everything and restaurants were a 3 minute walk away, but not so close that you could hear any commotion. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful day & night(I’m a light sleeper and had no issue) Bed was comfortable and shower had great water pressure. Washer and Dryer was a huge plus. I enjoyed terrace in the evening w/ a glass of wine, thank you Ricardo!! Our fav restaurants were Mana & Cantina Clandestina both run by same owner, but food was very good and the mixed drinks and staff had us coming back. We took an Uber to Guincho Beach, it was beautiful beach, prepare for wind! I would def stay at Home in Cascais and would return. Great stay for 2 people, maybe 3, if a child under 10? Thank you, Ricardo for being a great host who’s communication is very fast.

The apartment is located inn a great area - Alfama. The hike to get to the unit was tough especially when I went in the wrong direction from the train station, but Pedro was patiently waiting there for us. After our hike to get there, completing the 68 steps to the unit was a breeze. LOL The view is spectacular and saw cruise ships coming and going every day. The unit was clean, comfortable. I had issues with the TV but did not go to Lisbon to watch TV. I was connected to the Wi-FI but not the internet, which was fine as my phone did the work for me and I was not working online. Ann and Rita Have created a special space and were are grateful for the accommodations. They did a tasteful job with the decor. I would definitely recommend the unit to anyone. Great job. Catherine was so helpful and did everything she could to ensure we had a fantastic holiday. We were able to check in early and when she met us she gave us lots of useful tips. The apartment is fantastic, beautifully decorated and has so many little extras such as beach chairs, umbrella and towels. We loved the balconies and being able to walk into town or the marina in 5 minutes. Thank you Catherine!

Our family had a wonderful stay at Luis apartment in Estoril. The apartment was in an excellent location, accessible to public transport, the beach and restaurants. The apartment was also as described, spotlessly clean and airy. Luis stood out as host, he was very friendly and helpful. We arrived quite late past 9:30 pm, which he accommodated to check in. He even drove us to Mc Donald's as it was the only restaurant open so that we could all get some dinner. I would highly recommend both his apartment and him as a host !

We had a wonderful stay in Cascais! The apartment was beautiful & in a great location (central but still a quiet street). The air conditioning was fabulous & there was even a beach umbrella in the closet which came in very handy! Jorge was very responsive to any messages and allowed us to drop our bags off early which was ve very kind :). Would absolutely recommend!!

A highly recommended place to stay!

A cosy little apartment in a great area of Lisbon. The apartment has everything you need, including a balcony with a beautiful view. The neighbourhood is peaceful, lots of restaurants, cafes and coffee shops within walking distance. The only downside is getting up and down the stairs to the top floor of the building, especially with shopping or luggage (great cardio though!)

We had a fantastic stay at Sofia’s Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and hospitality. She took the time to personally meet us, brought us some fresh Pastéis de Belém and wine, which made our experience feel very special. Her instructions and recommendations were incredibly helpful, ensuring we felt comfortable and knew the best places to explore. Whether it was tips on local restaurants or guidance on how to navigate the area, her insights made our trip so much smoother. The space itself was cozy and well-equiped, providing everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The appartement is on 3 floors, there is 1 bathroom on 1st floor to be used for bedroom on 3rd floor. The other bathroom is within the masterbed room. We truly appreciate the personal touch and care that Sofia puts into hosting, and we would highly recommend her place to anyone looking for a great experience. She also accomodated an earlier check-in as our flights arrived early morning.

Sintra is a magical destination. So many people make it a day trip from Lisbon and, in so doing, miss out on the heart of this community. We were thrilled that Hugo and Laura provided this opportunity for us to more fully explore this amazing place. Their Casa das Rosas is exactly as described, very compact and usable. It takes a little getting used to the arrangement of floors with bedroom and shower on the top floor and bathroom and kitchen two floors below, but it works. Laura and Hugo are most gracious hosts and we received very clear instruction regarding parking, entry, use of space and departure. The welcome gifts were much appreciated as well. Great shower! Well equipped kitchen. We would recommend this place to anyone who is OK with climbing stairs.

Ricardos Place was great for our family of four (Kids 3,5 and 5 months). Easily accessible, a lot of cool stuff for kids and close to some interesting places and public transportation. Just around a Main Street the place is truly calm and we felt safe at all times. The place is great for lovers of architecture and has a really nice color gamma. We found a bottle of wine and enjoyed our time at Ricardo’s place very much…

Really enjoyed our stay! The location was perfect, set at the base of the hill to walk up to Pena Palace or explore the historic district but not smack in the middle of it. Quiet, private and super clean. Loved everything about it and our stay.

If you want a real local Sintra experience then this is your place. Charming house with a lot of character, charm and history. We were a group of 6 and cooked in for dinner 2 of the three nights. Very close to town center for walking. It’s a very hilly town so if you like walking it’s great for you. Maria could not have been nicer.

The location was beautiful and perfect for both sunsets and sunrises. Everything was as described, clean property and welcome gifts. Had lovely warm showers, and the air con was great. Very peaceful stay in a stylish, boutique house. The one thing I would add is that the stairs are quite dangerous, so be careful when going up and down. Other than that, a fantastic stay and a lovely pizza restaurant down the road that does amazing pizzas, risotto and pastas.

Filipa's Alfama Airbnb was truly impeccable. We all agreed that this Airbnb made our vacation. This was our first time in Portugal, and we would come back just for this Airbnb. It was clean, picturesque, centrally located, and made for a relaxing vacation. Our favorite aspects were the location, natural light, and swimming pool. Filipa was responsive, helpful, and kind. I recommend staying here to anyone. We loved staying in the heart of Alfama – the neighborhood was walkable and full of restaurants and sightseeing. Our only feedback was that it was a little difficult to locate on Google Maps upon arrival, but once we remembered the location, it was easier. So absolutely worth it.

From the moment we arrived, the host's warm welcome set the tone for a delightful stay. The apartment itself was impeccably clean and well-maintained, featuring comfortable beds and a fully equipped kitchen stocked with essentials like coffee, tea, and laundry supplies. Public transportation was easily accessible, with metro stops just a short walk away, making it easy to get around. Ana was great and so was her place!

We had a lovely stay here, the apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. August and Teresa were fantastic hosts making sure we were okay and gave us recommendations. The pool was a real bonus, especially on warm days and when the beaches were busy. It’s also in a great location for exploring the area, with easy access to both Lisbon and Cascais. Would happily recommend!

The apartment is lovely, clean, well-equipped, and even more spacious than expected. The location is close to bustling neighborhoods, but the building itself is very peaceful and quiet. Would definitely stay here again!

The condo was better than expected, beautiful and pristine with all the necessary kitchen items. The bedding and towels smelled wonderful!

This is a lovely well equipped 2 bed apartment in the Bairro do Rosario suburb of Cascais. Communication with the host was excellent and the garden and pool area are a real bonus. It is a 15 min walk to de Inferno and a good 35 min walk into the centre of Cascais. However there are bus stops close by to the apartment which have regular timetables. There are a number of lovely restaurants close by at Casa de Guia, and the Ophelia cafe on the next street is lovely for breakfast whilst the sacolinha bakery at the end of the street is excellent. The small supermarket at the end of the street is good for small amounts, the large Pingo Doce 5 mins walk away has a much larger selection. A very relaxing stay

The apartment is fantastic, like staying in a piece of history. Wilfried has taken great care with the renovations and has also kitted out the apartment with high quality bedding and toiletries. Kitchen is really well equipped and Wilfried provided a vast array of coffees and teas. The rooms and bathroom layout worked well for us, a family of five with three grown-up sons, so everyone had their own room and slept well. The location is perfect, very central and easy to walk to most attractions or use Uber for going slightly further out. Its in a busy location with a lovely atmosphere. We weren't troubled by any noise - the trams and bars also close relatively early anyway. Wilfried is great and pro-active communicator. Everything was clean and Eugenia was a delight to meet. Thank you, we would love to stay again.
