Gail was wonderful! We met upon arrival! The Mermaid was perfect. It felt like home. Comfortable, clean, and comfy! With Gails beautiful art! Perfect location for my event. Cape Charles was beautiful to visit and so much fun! 🧜‍♀️

This was our third stay at Clifton, so we and our 2 dogs obviously like staying there. The location is perfect for getting around Matthews as we continue to explore that part of the region. Very nice stay and we look forward to coming back. Bart and Sharon Cameron November 2024

Very nice place to stay for our visit to Cape Charles. The spot is perfectly situated in the heart of Cape Charles on Main Street. Walkable to everything imaginable, including the beach, restaurants, bars and shops. Was happy that the unit is soundproof so could not hear anything that was going on out on Main Street. Everything was very clean immaculate and it was a super fun place to stay with the retro kitchen and oversized balcony

OK, Cindy‘s unit was by far the best one bedroom unit that I have stayed in. It is the second best unit I’ve stayed in overall! It was squeaky clean, very cozy and inviting, very quiet, and it was good for sleeping and relaxing.If you have the opportunity to book this unit, don’t hesitate! I will say there are a number of stairs in order to get into the unit, but other than that wow, simply wow!

We stayed at the cozy beach cottage for a "girls trip" for three busy moms looking for a peaceful retreat for the weekend. The house was just as described - cute, clean, and cozy. We appreciated Kenzi's attention to detail and clear instructions, as well as local restaurant recommendations. This house is one block from the ocean; an easy stroll to watch the sunset from beach. We appreciate that the house had everything we needed and required no tasks for checkout. Thank you Kenzi for allowing us a weekend of rest and relaxation!

Kate’s place was perfect for our family’s first trip to Norfolk! The beach is literally less than a 5 minute walk away. Her home is adorable and her neighbors are the sweetest people! My kids loved their little dog. We felt very comfortable in the house — very nice neighborhood and the home had everything we needed! We were very close to downtown as well. We will definitely be coming back if we make it back to Norfolk! Thank you Kate!

Had a great time staying at Lisa's home. The place was a very beautiful home and a peaceful neighborhood. Spacious living area as well as the bathrooms and rooms.

Emily was an excellent host! She had clear and easy instructions, the place was very homey, petty, and well equipped. It allowed each guest in our group of three professionals on business travel their privacy, as well as community space, and opportunities to take a walk in the beautiful and quiet neighborhood, close to the beach. Definitely recommend!

We had a fantastic stay at Michelle's place! We have stayed at many Airbnb rentals, and Michelle's place was one of the cleanest. The house was immaculate and very tastefully decorated, and everything was exactly as pictured. Michelle was also a great host and made every effort to ensure that we had an excellent stay. The house is on a quiet cul-de-sac and in close proximity to all of the places we wanted to visit - Yorktown (5 minutes), Busch Gardens (15 minutes), Jamestown (20 minutes) and Colonial Williamsburg (20 minutes). The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfortable with nice linens and the backyard firepit and string lights were very charming. We were very happy with our stay and would definitely recommend this home to anyone interested in visiting the area.

Great place and great host! Karim was very responsive to the few questions I had and was very helpful. Beach is only about 50 steps away and has easy/private access. Relaxing deck and mostly very quiet surroundings. Love the place!!

Hadley is the best host! .. very responsive from the get go and took great care to ensure that our stay was enjoyable, which I appreciated. The unit is really well equipped, very clean; has everything you need for a relaxing stay. The office area was a wonderful bonus; it was nice to have the option to work without being disturbed, which I did for a little bit. This place is the perfect little getaway (and would be ideal if you’re looking to combine remote working). The only aspect which was a little disappointing is the fact that the unit is located on a main road and was a little noisy (but I think this might be a temporary thing, due to the fact that there is construction much further down the road - not near the unit - so trucks working on the sight created more traffic than I imagine is usually there). Stayed for 4 nights - loved every minute - didn’t want to leave! Our last morning we walked the 2 mins to beach to watch the sun rise - it was awesome! Thanks, Hadley!

I had never stayed inside a host’s home before and wasn’t sure what to expect. Elinita was a great communicator and anything I needed was provided. She even loaned me a yoga mat and got a folding chair as the bedroom has no seating. She was exactly as other reviewers described- friendly, considerate, communicative. I was four minutes from my son’s house and would not hesitate to book with Elinita again.

Very good spot for a small family trip to Tangier (I came alone, so it was more than enough.) The house is spotless, and Travis has some extras there for his guests (coffee, water, fishing rods, board games for young kids on a rainy day.) Travis also sent me the phone number for an evening ferry off the island, which was extremely helpful. I had a great stay at Travis' place, and would stay here again. I hope to soon.
